Monday- Today I read about Nancy Hansen a Tennessee woman that put a 7-year-old Russian boy, who'd been adopted by her daughter, well he put him on a return flight to Moscow last week, blaming his alleged violent and psychotic behavior. The child, Justin Hansen, showed up unannounced at Russia's child protection ministry  Thursday, triggering an international investigation. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a Russian TV channel on Friday that his country has banned future adoptions by Americans until the United States signs a new agreement to regulate them. Nancy Hansen insisted she did not abandon the child, but was following instructions from a lawyer she found online. Hansen told CNN that she was concerned about her family's safety after a series of violent incidents and threats by the child whom her daughter, Torry, adopted from a Russian orphanage last year. That’s stupid if they couldn’t handle a kid why did they adopt him in the first place that’s just stupid.

This morning I read about people who are still trying to smuggle drugs into the U.S from across the T.J border. Smugglers are now trying to stuff the marijuana unto lawnmowers. They stuff the marijuana into the lawnmowers, but take out the blades so it can fit. On Thursday Border Patrol found 2 lawnmowers in a 1996 Dodge Dakota pickup. The car was driven by a Riverside resident, and was trying to pass the border at about 5:30 a.m. Drug sniffing dogs sniffed the car and that lead the Border Patrol to find the marijuana. Another guy also tried doing the exact same thing. This guy was a Mexican citizen. Inside the lawnmower were 21 packages of weed weighing 53 pounds. He was taken to County jail. On March 30, there was another guy with the same incident. He was also arrested.
I wonder how the Border Patrol catch these guys. When I used to cross the border they never check inside, I probably could have smuggled drugs. I just wonder if these guys look super suspicious or something.

The two men, both deaf, feverishly gestured to one another in sign language over a videophone, discussing the recently released documents relating to a Milwaukee priest molesting students -- the same priest they said had molested them.
According to the report, Murphy abused as many as 200 deaf boys in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 1950 to 1974.
Budzinski, 61, sat next to his daughter, Gigi, who translated his story. Her father, she said matter of factly, was abused three times by Murphy while a student at St. John's School for the Deaf in St. Francis, a suburb of Milwaukee nestled on the banks of Lake Michigan.
Budzinski said he was 12 the first time it happened.

Today on cnn news I read about how Four people were arrested and charged with hate crime offenses in New York after a Mexican immigrant was beaten with a baseball bat, a metal chain and wooden plank. The victim was 26 year old rodulfo olmedo was heading home Monday morning after leaving a club in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Staten Island when he was jumped by four juvenile delinquents Video surveillance from a nearby store shows the men approaching Olmedo from behind Olmedo remains in stable condition at Richmond University Medical Center in stated island. Monday- Today I read an article about a man who robbed a radio shack. The man was said to have stolen about 750 dollars worth of cell phones and cell phone accessories. The man led police on a really long chase and exchanged bullets with them. The article stated that the suspect was said to have shot a lot of rounds and actually reloaded. Although it also stated that the police fired an unknown amount of shots also. The man was then brought to a stop when he shot himself in the head. Police were shocked at the outcome of this situation and were very disappointed. The article also stated that another man was arrested but did not state why or where.
This was a good article because it sounded like a movie. Although this might not happen all the time it does happen and a lot of people are crazy. The article was making a big deal on the suspect shooting but didn’t want to state how many shots were fired by the police.
I learned that when it comes to something involving with the police it is always all confidential.

In today's news I read about a train derailment in northern Italy has killed nine people. The office had said that the derailment killed 11 people, but it later revised the death toll. At least 20 people were injured, five seriously, when a landslide derailed the train. The train was a small diesel train with two carriages, traveling on the Val Venosta line. The railway is one of the region's newest, inaugurated in 2005. The most probable cause of the landslide is a broken irrigation pipe. The mud from the slide entered the train's cars, suffocating the passengers. More than 200 rescuers were on the scene. The train came to rest when it reached the trunk of two big trees. One of the carriages was left hanging over the Adige River.

Monday- Today I read about President Obama on Saturday urged a thorough investigation into a deadly explosion at a West Virginia coal mine that killed 29 people, hours after rescue efforts at the mine gave way to an operation to recover the dead. Obama's statement came just hours after rescue efforts came to a grim end after crews found the bodies of the last four miners unaccounted for in the explosion. Twenty-five people were previously announced dead. The death toll makes the West Virginia mining disaster the worst in the U.S. since 1972, when 91 miners were killed in a fire at the Sunshine Mine in Kellogg, Idaho. Obama will meet next week with Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis and a Mine Safety and Health Administration official to hear their initial assessment of what caused the blast, along with their recommendations for steps the federal government should take to improve mine safety.

In today’s news, a man pleaded and resulted in a CONSEQUENCE to no contest to voluntary manslaughter with the use of a gun Tuesday in the shooting death of a man who he claimed sexually abused him as a teen. The plea FEATURE comes less than a week before Aaron Vargas' first-degree murder trial was supposed to start for the slaying of Darrell McNeill, a neighbor from his childhood and a family friend whom Vargas claims, his ASPECT, began molesting him when he was 11 years old. Under the terms of a plea deal, Vargas, now 32, faces anywhere from probation to 10 years in prison for shooting the former Boy Scout leader and local businessman last year in his home in the Northern California community of Fort Bragg. Lawyers will return to court April 20 to place a statement of facts on the record before Judge Ronald Brown decides on the final sentence.

Tuesday- Today I read an article that stated girls are more violent than boys. The reason is because there have been more arrests for fighting than boys. There has also been a bigger number of girls going to the hospital after a fight than boys. This has been a study that has been happening for a while to get the right fact. The thing is says a doctor that is all mentally and usually girls just fight for no reason. The rate is girls have been at 26.7% and boys at 25.4% in getting arrested for fighting. The rate of hospitalizations for fighting is 37% from the rate of girls and 31% of boys. This article is just a study and will change throughout time so it can be possible.
The article was good its just to me it doesn't sound right. The reason is because most guys fight without getting caught and girls are always getting caught. The reason more girls end up in a hospital is because most of them do not know how to defend themselves.
I learned that girls fight a lot but either get beat up really bad or get caught.

Tuesday- Today I read about Nadia Bloom who has been found alive after five days of searching. The Metro Faith Church confirmed Tuesday morning that one of their members, James King, found the 11-year-old autistic girl. The church said Nadia is in good shape, just tired, hungry, dehydrated and covered in mosquito bites. Nadia's family spokesperson also confirmed that the girl has been found alive and well. Nadia is hooked up to an IV and is being carried out of the wooded area where she was found. I hope that this girl is ok and stays healthy because she’s a pretty little girl and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to her. I also read about Packer and he is accused of murdering Brock Husted, his wife, Davina Husted, and her fetus. The Husted's, who were both 42, were stabbed to death in their seaside home in Faria Beach, California, on May 20. if he is guilty I want this guy to get life in prison with no parole.

This morning I read about a woman in South Hampton, New Hampshire who got pulled over by a fake cop. The suspect exited the vehicle, flashlight in one hand and a black gun in the other. He asked the woman to step out of the car. When she did, he assaulted her. The next thing the woman remembers is waking up next to her car at 5am. These are the CONSEQUENCES of not taking precautions. Real cops always show u a badge, and I would never get out of my car unless I saw identity. I think this story is sad and peopole are crazy.

Today I read an article about President Obama and Chinese leader Hu Jintao who are meeting Monday about nuclear security and other issues. They talked about nuclear weapons. It mostly talked about all the things the U.S and China did or did not agree upon. China and the U.S. have worked together recently in opposing North Korea's nuclear ambitions. China has its opposition to the country withdrawing from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and fears that its nuclear arsenal could threaten the region. In November Obama went to china and a couple of months later went on to come up with a couple methods on how to make more energy efficient clean energy.

Today I read that 3 people were taken to the hospital because of a big plant explosion and fire. It happened this morning at the Victaulic foundry on Quarry Road in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County. The towns Marshall said that there was molten metal that interfered with the plant that was at the time processing faculty. Two of the injured workers, a man and a woman, were admitted to the hospital with burns. The third victim was taken to the hospital only for an evaluation, according to Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Wednesday- Today I read about another issue with the 7 year old boy being sent back to Russia because of his “violent” behavior. His adopted mother’s mother is the one that sent him back to Russia out of her complaints. Now Russia is reconsidering letting the United States adopt children from their orphanages. I think that the family could have put the kid through counseling instead of just leaving him hanging high and dry like that because that’s sad that they take him out of his country and tell him your going to be with us forever now and then send him back because he was bad. That’s like getting a puppy and leaving it at the shelter because it was bad. That’s not right at all that’s scandalous. I also read about the cardinal blaming the sexual abuse on homosexuality. That is not right that just pissed me off because how are they going to try and blame it on homosexuality when it was the priest fault. Stupid people.

In today's news I read about six people were killed on Tuesday in an area of northeastern Mexico where two drug cartels have been waging a bloody war since January. And at least another nine people were killed over the weekend in gangland violence in the city of Morelos in Tamaulipas state and two people were found hanging from a bridge on Friday. Five of the six dead on Tuesday were minors as were two of the weekend victims. The area which borders Texas has seen ferocious fighting between the Zetas and Gulf cartels after a recent gangland slaying. Hours long gun battles are common and the U.S. officials were recently forced to temporarily close the consulate in Reynosa another city in Tamaulipas state. The trouble in Tamaulipas and neighboring Nuevo Leon state started January 18, when Gulf cartel members killed top Zeta lieutenant Victor Mendoza. The Zetas demanded that the Gulf cartel turn over the killers, but the narco group refused. The Zetas, composed mostly of former elite military troops, had been the armed enforcers for the Gulf cartel since 2001. They have become more independent in recent years, and the all-out war between the two cartels indicates the split is apparently permanent.

Wednesday- Today I read about a woman who befriended Casey Anthony in jail told investigators that Anthony confided she would "knock out" her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, so she could go out at night while the child slept, according to a police report. The inmate, identified in the document as Maya Derkovic, of Ocala, Florida, told police in a jailhouse interview that she used to talk with Anthony through the jail's ventilation system. She said Anthony told her she regretted having a child so early in life, and gave three different versions of the events surrounding Caylee's disappearance. Another inmate, Robyn Adams, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, told investigators that Anthony said she used chloroform on Caylee to help the child sleep, the police report said. The mention of chloroform is significant because investigators found evidence consistent with human decomposition and traces of chloroform in the trunk of a car that belonged to Casey Anthony after Caylee disappeared in June 2008.

Today I read an article about some lady that contracted herpes in 1997. She says that since she contract the incurable disease she stayed away from the dating scene. She tried many dating services like Match.com, eHarmony, and thought of myspace as just a hook up zone. Besides she didn’t like the fact the they asked too many questions anyway because she felt all paranoid about her condition. She wanted somewhere to go with the same condition. There are many web sites that cater to people that have diseases from bipolar disorder to Crohn's disease. She goes on Positivesingles.com. The web site is now three years and has about 8,000 members. Over 40 different diseases of categories.

In today's news I read about at least 31 people were killed in a powerful storm that swept through parts of eastern India along the Bangladeshi border. It was a 45-minute storm that packed winds up to 120 kph knocking down communication links in West Bengal state's North Dinajpur district after midnight. About 100,000 houses could have been damaged in the severe storm and feared that the death toll could rise up. Rescue operations were under way and some officials said that they were trying to restore communications. North Dinajpur district stretches along a 227-kilometer border with Bangladesh to the east and is home to 2.5 million people.

-WEDNESDAY

This morning I read an article FEATURING a 19 year old girl from Okaloosa, Florida who was getting a ride from cops early Monday morning, when the friend whose car she was riding in was hauled off for DUI. The Sheriff’s Deputy reports that as he was driving the teen home, he heard her open a can. She opened a Steel Reserve tall can she had hidden in her purse. She was then arrested for underage drinking. When the officer asked her why she would drink in the back of a police car she allegedly replied, “I have no right answer for you.” I think this story is funny. People don’t think about CONSEQUENCES of their actions when they are drunk.

Wednesday- Today I read an article about a man who was just arrested. The reason for his arrest was because he is a suspected child molester. This man was said to pay babysitters to bring him children. He then would have sex with them and video tape it. The man was accused of 20 different counts on sex acts on a minor. The man was said to not be arrested yet for the reason that the judge did not find him for any convictions. There was a man who as a child said he was molested by this man but the court is still looking in on it. There will be another court date for this trial and the man is looking in on being in prison for a long time.
This was a sad article because a lot of children will have nightmares because of this guy for the rest of their lives. I think that this man will not make it in prison for a long time. The reason is because he will die and very short after he gets there.
I learned that throughout the years more and more children are being raped and molested.

Today I read about a teacher who is 31 years old who faces up to 10 years in prison. She faces charges of three counts of lewd and lascivious battery involving a 14 year old boy. She also pleaded guilty to two counts of having unlawful sex with a minor involving a 16 year old. She had intercourse with the 14 year old three time between October 2006 and May 2007. Evidence is in a phone call she made out to the 14 year old. In that phone call she is urging the 14 year old not to tell anyone, and to keep it a secret. She has already spent two years in prison and her attorney thinks that that’s more than enough, compared to other teachers who only had to do house arrest.
I think that these types of incidents are happening way to much. I also think that the boys must of enjoyed it if it went on for a while. I also think that it is nasty, because it seems like the teacher cant do any better than a little kid.

Wednesday !
Today I read about two men who got arrested for having a clinic that practiced medicine without a license. They were aiding and selling misbranded drugs. Medical Board of California and U.S customs got together and did an investigation on the place. The clinic is in National City and is called Fisoterapia y Masaje. It is located out of a residence on Fourth Avenue near West J Street. Investigators arrested Omar Abisaid Sarabia Esparza who is 37, and Ezequiel Sanchez Solórzano who is 46. The clinic was brought to attention of authorities when a man went to clinic for back pain, and received injections and suffered numbness in his legs. The store owners got caught by an undercover investigator.
I think that not every place that involves fixing pain is perfect. Some places that do have a license do a horrible job.

This morning I read about a volcanic vent that has been discovered in London. Scientist used a remote controlled submarine to discover the deepest volcanic vent. James Cook, an expert about the RRS said they found the vent on April 6th more than three miles beneath the surface of the Caribbean. The area is known as the Caymon Trough, which is a deep sea canyon. The scientist said that exploring the area was like “wandering across the surface of another world”. There is said to be multi colored mineral deposits and thick collections of fluorescent blue microorganisms. Temperatures down there can reach up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit. That temperature can melt led. From the Volcanic vent scientist can probably even possibly find out or get clues to the origin of life on earth.
I want to see this place, it must be pretty. I also hope they can find clues to whether the world is going to end soon or what.

Thursday- Today I read an article that may help solve a lot of questions to organism adaptation. The article said that there was a new volcanic vent found. The thing about it was that it isn’t like other vents for the reason that it is so hot yet the water still is not boiling. Also that there are organisms living down there and have adapted to the environment. It is also said that it is so hot down there you can melt led and is a great opportunity for scientists. The vent was founded in in London by Venice city. The vent holds normal sea like creatures but they are different indeed. The difference is that they have little changes that help them live in that environment.
This was a cool article and I hope that it helps scientist out. The vent probably holds a lot of answers for the forming of life. I would really like to explore places like that and figure out answers for the future.
I learned that there is a lot of information about this world and is bound to be figured out.

Thursday- Today I read about the federal courts and them sentencing three people in the spa war bribery case. The engineer receives about 75 months in prison. And the person with the least time just got one year. That person is so lucky to get one year on some federal charges. I also think that if they were only a little smarter they would have gotten away with a lot of things. I also read about border patrol agents taking in twenty-four people attempting to enter the United States. The border patrol stopped them at sea and confiscated three of their boats. I feel that they should have just let these guys pass because there not doing anything wrong they just want a better life out of their own homes in Mexico. I hope they do get released soon because it is not necessary for them to be held like that I think their on a 24 hour hold and then from there they will go back to Mexico and restart their journey.

There aspect of the plan was to get them this year, but due to failure they are waiting until 2012 to submit a ballot full of signatures. The same sex marriage ban that was approved by voters in November 2008. The have a large team of people to help featuring many same sex couples. I don’t think there's a problem with them getting married. If America suppose to be a free country why would they do something like that. Now if they marry will face consequences including jail time. America is a big ass bully in my opinion.

This morning I read an article about a landslide in Italy that killed nine people and injured 28. A mass of mud and water slammed into a small commuter train traveling in the Italian alps on Monday, knocking the first car into a ditch. The two car train was filled with students and commuters and it was passing by at the exact moment that a large irrigation pipe on a higher elevation burst. The rupture did not appear to be an ASPECT of the cold weather . The accident happened around 9:30am about 185 miles north of Venice. The train line FEATURES mountains. I think this story is tragic and very sad.

The funding is a result of a partnership of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development called the Sustainable Communities Initiative. It was created to help implemented a top priority of the Obama administration to improve access to affordable housing, increase transportation options and lower transportation costs while protecting the environment in communities nation-wide.

Friday- Today I read about Officer Mark Lindback started his day off with a routine contraband check of a jail cell. He pulled up the inmate's mattress, and ducked his head under the bed. He didn't find any shanks or drugs, but he did find papers lots and lots of papers. The inmate immediately became irate. Lindback says he found tax forms, papers with instructions on how to fill out the forms along with various social security numbers and birth dates during that routine check four years ago. He turned the papers over to his supervisor, not knowing at the time that he had stumbled upon a tax scam in which prison inmates allegedly were attempting to bilk the government out of more than $1 million. Investigators say Monroe County jail inmates in Key West had been filing false tax return forms for jobs they never had as far back as 2004, and getting thousands of dollars a pop in refund checks.

During today’s reading I read an article about a person that wanted to kill Obama. A man from Arkansas was facing the consequences for plotting to kill Obama and many other Black people. His first plot of assisnation featured shortly before the 2008 presidential election. He planned to go on a rampage with man guns killing people. He also planned do a series of burglaries ending in the death of Obama. This man he problem and they should lock him up for life. I don’t think 10 years is enough because while he in the he just going to plan how he is going to do it again.

Today I read about how 300,000 homes were damaged in the storm that cut a deadly path through parts of India's West Bengal and Bihar states early Wednesday morning. Because of this tragically happening 122 people of eastern India died and other 41 people died in the Bengal district and in the Bihar district at least 81 dead people. I also read about how A Michigan man could face life in prison after he allegedly tortured and ultimately killed his girlfriend's 4-year-old son last week for wetting his pants Hayes also apparently burned the boy in the course of the torture. Because of this mans bad bad actions he might get life in prison and he deserves it.

This morning I read an article FEATURING a teacher, Andrew Wildman, 28, of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania is charged with indecent assault and corrupting minors. Students referred to Wildman as "creeper," according to court documents. Police said several female students reported Wildman offered them extra credit to lick chalk, hand sanitizer and milkshake off his fingers. Wildman's resignation was accepted at Thursday night's school board meeting. I hope that this creeper suffers the CONSEQUENCEs of his creepy actions. People that do things like that should never be let out of jail.

Friday- Today I read an article about how a man was beaten by the police. The story stated that a student from a university was celebrating after his school won at basketball game. The story stated that this was a police brutality report. There was a video that showed what had happened and it was really bad. The article also read what the police report had and nothing happened what the report read. The police department didn’t want to speak about the situation and didn’t after all. The video showed how the student was walking down the street and stopped and was then attacked by the police. Then the police reported that the victim had charged against the police and injured a couple. This was a serious issue and is being looked at by really important people.
This was a sad video because the student is seen doing nothing when attacked. I think the police officers should be arrested and do time in jail. Maybe the police should have a serious consequence just like any other person off the street should.
I learned that police think they can do anything and get away with it but yet still get caught up.

This morning I read about a father who killed his son. The reason for him killing his son was because the son had molested his 3 year old sister. The dad took his son outside and forced him to go down the street naked. He then shot him to death. The mom tried to stop the dad, but the dad pointed the gun to the mom and told her to get away. The father is now probably facing life in prison. The son described what happened in detail. He said he was on the couch and then went to the room, took off his shorts and underwear and then got on top of her. That is when the dad said he split.
I think that what the boy did was wrong, but he is also a little kid and probably doesn’t understand. I also think that he did not deserve what had happened to him.

Today I read an article about people crossing the border into the United States illegally. There were many people involved over 50 and several American businesses. They said that smugglers would run illegal tracking by helping illegals cross to the United States by a border city such as Nogales, which is in Arizona. After which they would be transferred to Tucson awaiting shuttle vans to be transported to Phoenix. From the drop house they were sent all over the US. Special Units I.C.E say they have investigated this case for about a year. Most of the businesses that were involved in the scandal were citizens of the US and local residents of each city of Nogales, Tucson, and Phoenix. Criminals even made fake shuttle tickets for their passengers for their vans so if they were stopped it look like they were running a legit business.

In today's paper I read an article about online gaming. In the article many people stress the hate speech issue. Gamers sit back and play games online exchanging various hate words throughout the game. Now people are trying to institute a better gaming atmosphere. The words and racist slurs being said hurt many people. The owners of the game products such as Microsoft are tiring to regulate this now. Because this can be a very be thing under some circumstances. I think that the stuff being said most people don’t even care about. For all we know the person saying it is on the other side of the country. They should be worried about bigger stuff then this.

Today I read an article today about volcanic debris in Europe. Volcanic ash drifted from Iceland across northern Europe. This all happened on Thursday last week. Many people were stuck in hotels because their jet flight could not lift off due to the volcanic debris. Volcanic debris can shut down jet engines so officials played it safe. Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Belgium all closed their airspace for non emergency flights. France shut down 24 airports including Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.

In today’s news, a cloud of volcanic ash drifted from Iceland across Northern Europe. Visitors were stuck and were forced to cancel trips. The cloud from a volcano beneath Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull glacier affected many tourists scrambling to book INSTITUTED hotel rooms for unexpected extension for their visit. The cloud would shut down jet engines after sucking in volcanic debris. More than 1000 REGULATED flights were canceled under a CIRCUMSTANCE. They say that a massive, long-term volcanic activity 455 million years ago released so much carbon dioxide into the planet’s atmosphere that when the eruptions stopped, the climate was wildly out of balance, resulting in a global cooling that ultimately killed off 2/3 of all species on the planet.
