In today's news I'm a SUMMARIZE about Guatemalan police on Thursday were searching for an EVIDENCE drug trafficker who initiated a shootout with police at a shopping mall the day before. Authorities would not give details on the search for Mauro Salomon Ramirez Barrios a suspected drug trafficker. When police entered the building to apprehend him, shooting broke out. Four men believed to be associated with Ramirez were captured at the scene along with two women who were identified as his wife and daughter. The ISSUE Video from the scene showed police crouching behind obstacles inside the mall and shoppers ducking and running out of the area, some with children in their hands. Dozens of shoppers gathered outside in the parking lot by fire trucks.

Monday- Today I read about the charger game. And how they had a great victory yesterday. I am going to summarize this and make it short and sweet. The chargers played against the Jaguars yesterday and straight smashed on them. I did have one issue though they could have done a little better on the defense side of the game. There hopefully won’t be any evidence of slacking on the chargers part. I hope that from here they only get better. And they won’t go down hill.

Toni Ma'ree ; Monday - Today I read about 2 hurt in attack on tourist bus in India. In , New Delhi there were two gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire Sunday at tourists near one of India’s biggest mosques and wounding two Taiwanese men. The gunmen shot randomly at the tourists before they even got to aboard the bus parked near the Jama Masjid mosque. Police had a massive search for the two gunmen to get evidence and had issued a security alert across the Indian capital. As for hours later it was said that they received an email that was threatening to attack the upcoming Commonwealth Games. But police did cautioned that the email could be unrelated to Sundays attack. But also, Indian authorities made arrangements to provide the Commonwealth Games athletes and officials a safe and secure environment. So, the two shooting victims though are now both in stable conditions.

Today I read about 100,000 children that are going to die in Pakistan if don’t get some food. Its an issue that the middle east should take care of. More than 100,000 children are homeless because of the Pakistan floods. The UNICEF summarized that the children will not have enough to eat. There is evidence of flooded homes people that are homeless and suffering because there are not receiving any help.

Monday- Today I read that there’s a new mayor in Tijuana named Julian Leyzaola. This guy wants to make a change in TJ like kidnappings, drug violence and widespread police corruption. It sucks that most of that is taking place in TJ, I wouldn’t mine if this happen some where else. Julian Leyzaola also wants to help out in the economic by cleaning up this violence so Americans could spent money over there. This man as tortured the suspects to end with this situation. It’s a good thing that he’s doing that that. He says that he will end with this he already started last week. It’s a good thing that there's a new mayor taking place to finish with the violence.

In today's news I read about issues rising in Mexico whether Julian Leyzaola would still remain public safety chief is uncertain with a new mayor set to take office. To his many admirers evidence has shown that Tijuana’s public safety chief has been a key player in the city’s emergence from it’s darkest days of kidnappings, drug violence and widespread police corruption. Evidence has shown that suspects who said Leyzaola tortured them to too extract false confessions. Human rights groups have taken up their cause and are calling for the chief’s removal from the office.

Tuesday- Today I read about a lot of sibling fighting. Three brothers got into a argument and two ended up being stabbed by the third brother. I think that the brother all of them are at fault. It’s no just his fault they know how he get’s when he’s angry he might have taken it over board but they know how he can get. Instead of letting the situation escalate they should have left it alone and talked about it later. I also read about how kids are being used as couriers for drugs. That’s been known and I guess they are barely catching these kids. I feel bad for most of them because they are only in it for the money. They try to say different but I know it’s true because I have and had friends that do that. Still to this day I tell them they need to change but they will when they are ready to do it. I think they do need a reality check.

Tuesday-Today I read about nine U.S. service members in southern Afghanistan perished in a helicopter crash in what is now the deadliest year for coalition and U.S. forces since the battle against the Taliban started nearly nine years ago. The crash occurred in the Chopan district of Kabul province, one of the several turbulent southern regions where coalition and Afghan troops have been battling the tenacious militant group for years. Two other service members, along with an Afghan National Army soldier and an American civilian, sustained injuries in the crash. They were taken to a NATO medical facility.

In today’s news, the extreme heat from this year is putting the world’s coral reefs under such severe stress that scientist think fear widespread die-offs, endangering the surrounding ecosystem. From Thailand to Texas coral reefs are shedding their color and going into survival mode. Many have already died and more are expected to die in the up and coming months. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration said that the first eight months of 2010 matched 1998 as the hottest January to August period on record beneath the ocean there for killing off the worlds coral reefs. Coral reefs occupy a tiny fraction of the ocean but harbor perhaps a quarter of all marine species, including a profusion of fish. Often called the rain forests of the sea they are the foundation not only of important fishing industries but also of tourist economies worth billions.

Today I read about the worlds coral reefs that are being threatened by extreme heat. The worlds coral issue is that they are under so much stress, scientists fear about widespread die-offs. Evidence of coral bleaching is from Thailand to Texas. The situation s looking worse than in 1998 when it was the hottest year in historical records. Summarizing the scientists they say 16% of corals died in 1998 and that this year looks like its going to be worse.

Tuesday- This morning I read about Corals reefs threatened by extreme heat. What’s going on is that this year’s heat is putting the world’s coral reefs under such severe stress that scientists fear widespread die-offs. From Thailand to Texas, Corals are reacting to the heat stress by bleaching witch is not good. Many have already died and more are going to in the next month. In the next few week the bleaching will get to Caribbean. This is the second time known global bleaching of corals reefs, in 1998 estimated 16% of the worlds shallow-water reefs died. Thailand is looking worse than in 1998 sucks that corals are sensitive to excess heat. Scientists are sad and depress that this is happening. The first time this happened was in 1983.

In today's news I read about a Colombian airstrike over the weekend killed a high-ranking rebel commander who was wanted in the United States. Sixto Antonio Cabana Guillen was among the more than two dozen guerrillas killed in a Colombian air force bombing operation Sunday. The U.S. State Department had been offering a reward of up to $2.5 million for information leading to his arrest or conviction. Cabana, as a top member of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, helped set policies directing and controlling the production and distribution of hundreds of tons of cocaine to the United States and the world. At least 27 people from the Marxist guerrilla group known as FARC were killed in Sunday's operation in southern Colombia. There were several warrants for the arrest of Cabana who was one of 50 FARC leaders on the State Department's wanted list.

In today’s news, I’m summarizing about an issue that had sparked major protesting about four years ago. Cartoons of the prophet Muhammad will be republished in a book. Evidence has shown that the book will be released no later than September 30th the author of the book could not be reached for further comments. The cartoons were published in September 2006 and had sparked great controversy and protest amongst the Muslim religion. Islam forbids deceptions of Mohammed. Many Muslims were also outraged of drawings themselves. One of them had shown the religious figure wearing a turban shaped like a bomb with a lit fuse.

Wednesday- Today I read about Medical Marijuana forces say No to Prop. 19. If this Prop. Passes it would harm patients who need it for there medical. Patients who cannot grow their own and cannot travel to pick up. Supposedly that’s the bad thing about passing Prop. 19 witch I think the cannabis stores will lose money that’s why there saying that. Proposition 19 would legalize the marijuana for recreational use and tax its sales. In November if it passes California would become the first state to legalize pot use. Adults could carry up to one ounce of marijuana. The good thing about this is that legalizing pot would reduce the influence of drug cartels. On my opinion if I do get to vote on November I say YES to Prop. 19.

Today I read about what the Deputy attorney general wants to do with the executions in California. A Riverside county judge set an execution date of Sept. 29 when they found the evidence that made Albert Greenwood Brown guilty for abducting a 15-year old girl on her way home from school in 1980. On Tuesday, California deputy attorney general Michael Quinn told U.S. District Court Judge Jeremy Fogel the new regulations authorize the state to execute Brown next week. The only issue that was keeping this guy from getting killed legally was that in 2006 a federal judge halted executions and ordered prison officials. To summarize all this they changed the law to kill people that deserve it like Albert.

Thursday-Today I read about Authorities say the remains of a missing 911 dispatcher have been found nearly 3 1/2 years after her disappearance. Theresa Parker was last seen leaving her sister's house on March 21, 2007, the Georgia Bureau Parker, who was 41 at the time, worked as an emergency dispatcher for Walker County in northwest Georgia. Her disappearance was widely covered in the media as hundreds of people searched for her. Sheriff John Everett of neighboring Chattooga County in Georgia said a farmer there discovered a jaw bone on Monday. The bones were in a wooded area near a river close to the Alabama border -- about 25 miles from the Walker County line.

Toni Ma'ree ; Thursday - Today I was reading about 19 dead in Somalia. It was said that there was heavy fighting between Somali militants and African Union peacekeepers in Mogadishu, Somalia. That there's been at least 19 people dead but like 71 others who were also wounded . What was going on was a horrific tragedy that was said people were unwitting and that people were screaming because many lost parts of their bodies . But Musa and his group collected 19 bodies and 71 people with wounds . But as for the fight the fighting started 5:30 a.m. and continued into afternoon so there was just lots of fear and chaos in Mogadishu . So , because of the whole incident and the fight some died and many were wounded and now the Musa were just calling out for help.

Friday- Today I read about Cubans will be allowed to work for themselves in 178 activities in the private sector and even hire employees, according to guidelines published Friday as the communist government moves quickly to shed half a million state jobs and provide alternatives for workers. Cubans will be permitted to be self-employed carpenters, restaurateurs, barbers and even salsa dancers. Many of the categories already existed, but the government hadn't granted new licenses for years, which meant that the total number of self-employed people in Cuba's 5.1 million-strong workforce was just 143,000. But many details, like how much these entrepreneurs will have to pay in taxes, social security and licensing fees, are still missing.

In today’s news I read about a man who was arrested and another one who was being sough after a teenager that was stabbed on Tuesday in the afternoon. Several juveniles were approached at a RANGE from Broadway and E Street about 4 p.m. by a group of attackers who accused the boys of assaulting a friend. Two men drove up in a silver car and at least the DATA shows that one had a crowbar or a tire iron toward the victim. A 17 year old boy was stabbed in the upper back when they were trying to flee. It wasn't a life threatened but it was painful. An 18 year old was identified as the one who waved the tire iron he was arrested on a suspicious of assault with a deadly weapon. The pigs are still looking for the victims who did the stabbings to some chankleros. The other one is being described as a Latino about 30 years old about 5 feet 9 inches tall with long black hair.

In to days news, SeaWorld officials on Thursday tried but failed to rescue a California sea lion. It was impaled with what appeared to be a 2 foot long broken fishing gaff coming out of its side. The injured sea lion believed to weigh about 500 pounds. The sea lion was on a downtown dock south of Tuna Harbor Park when the SeaWorld crew arrived about 12:10 p.m. as a crowd of onlookers gathered along the walkway leading to seaport village the rescuers gingerly approached the sea lion as it lay motionless with its head on the dock. Once rescuers got closer the sea lion picked up its head sat up the stared and barked and held its ground. One crew member lobbed a large net over the sea lion which immediately put up a struggle.

Friday- Today I read about Teresa Lewis that was executed on Thursday night. She got locked up for killing the husband Lewis was the first woman executed in Virginia in nearly a century. Lewis’s family was able to see the execution. News media witnesses said Lewis appeared frightened when she entered the death chamber and approached the gurney. They asked if she had last words, Lewis said, "I just want Kathy to know I love her. And I am very sorry“. She was referring to the stepdaughter, witness Kathy Clifton, daughter of murder victim Julian Lewis. That sucks that had to happen I wonder why she killed her husband.

Today I read about Marine dogs that are used to sniff out bombs and drugs, track enemy and attack resisters. The homemade bombs that have been planted in roads, paths and buildings account is an issue, that takes up 75% of injuries and deaths to coalition forces in Afghanistan. Because of the found evidence the Marine Corps created the Improvised Explosive Device Detector Dog program. The marines summarized that the dogs they have been given have results that vary, because some dogs pick up to 20 bombs each and other walk right by without catching a scent. None of the technology or tactics deployed in Afghanistan are infallible.
