Monday- Today I read about a 16 year old Mira Costa College student that told police a man tried to kidnap her Tuesday night in a campus parking lot. The student said she was in parking lot 3c about 8:00 pm when the man grabbed her right arm and started pulling her through the parking lot, he let go and left when a witness walked into the area. The assailant was described as a white man, in his early 30’s , about 5’8 , and 220 pounds. Police did not find the man but are still searching for the suspect.

In today’s news, a 16 year old girl a student at Mira Costa College had gotten the cops involved after she had said that a man had tried kidnapping her in a campus parking lot. To further interpret what I have read in today’s news the girl had said she was in the parking lot 3c about 8 p.m. when the man grabbed her right arm and started pulling her through the parking lot. He had then let go and left when a witness walked into the area. The girl shortly reported the attempt to the police, who checked the area without finding the man. A good percentage of the past tried kidnappings on school campuses have been reported as white men about in their mid thirty’s and controversy has been starting to rise in the area with several attempts of kidnappings have been on the rise in the area of oceanside.

Monday- today I read about a 20 year old rapes a 15 year old girl in Vista. The guys name is Jose Adrian Cano is booked on suspicion of unlawful intercourse with minors. The 15 year old girl said she was raped by 3 guys when she told her parents she went to go meet some one from the internet. Jose the 20 year old man was arrested Tuesday night as he was leaving his home to meet again with the girl. He is being held in the Vista jail without bail on a federal immigration hold. If I was the government I would of messed up Jose’s life because that’s pretty much what he did to this girl and her family I bet it will never be the same for them. The parents also have fault in this because it states that the girl told them she was going to meet with some one from the internet they should of not let her go.

Today I read about DOG’s LONG ROAD HOME. Gill Garcia and Jillian a father and daughter’s dog had escaped ,from them accidentally leaving the gate open. Living in south San Diego community of Paradise Hills got a phone call 6 months later that bandit his dog was still alive and found. The most surprising part was that he was found 60 miles away from home in Santa Ysabel. The dog was found thanks to a identification chip they had installed in him and was reunited with the Gracias in an animal shelter in Carlsbad. The dog was a bit skinnier but in good shape to have gone missing for 6 months. You yourself can also install a chip in your dog for just 20 dollars from 1p.m to 3p.m on Thursday at three county shelters.
The second article is TODDLER CRITICAL AFTER MOTHER ACCICENTALLY HITS HER WITH VAN.A mother accidentally struck a child while pulling away from her mountain view home in San Diego. The daughter Lauren Garibay was quickly rushed to Radys children hospital with major head trauma.19 year old mom was backing up and felt the car hit something which she thought was a skateboard. Then after she looked in her rearview mirror and say her 23 month old daughter behind her van. Without thinking she got of the car and forgot to put in on park and the van with her two nephews and niece crashed into a retaining wall but all was well. An hour after the incident the family gathered and consoled each other while the father and mother were in the hospital. The only witness was Adrian Garibay a 5 year old which is a cousin said he saw Lauren running and screamed for her to stop but she didn’t hear him. NO charges have been pressed on this mother who was distraught, it was all just a tragedy.

Today I read about war-crime allegations. Sgt. Calvin R. Gibbs was suspected of murdering three Afghan civilians, but he declined to answer questions. Gibbs lifted his pant leg to reveal a tattoo, on his left calf, of a picture of two crossed pistols, framed by six skulls. The tattoo is his way of keeping count of the kills he had, three skulls were colored in red, representing kills in Iraq, the others in blue are for kills in Afghanistan. In all these killings he said he was involved because it was self defense, but Army officials interpreted differently. According to the statements there should be a percent, on how many soldiers do actually kill just for the sport.

Today I read about a 20-year-old man From Vista , who was arrested for unlawful intercourse with a minor. He met a 15-year-old from Encinitas in the internet and had sex. The young teenager told her parents and authorities she had been kidnapped. She said she was picked up by three man, in which they sexually assaulted her and dropped her back off . She even described the men and sketches were realeased , there was a big manhunt and intense media . She lied because she didn’t want to tell her parents she was out late with a older guy. The girl then admitted to the police , the truth . She is not facing charges for false crime reports; he will do time and be deported to Mexico . Parents should be more involved in what there child is doing on the internet and become more involved in their actions and whereabouts .

Tuesday- Today I read about a San Ysidro woman, long known for her work with Latino foster families, was sentenced Thursday to 180 days in custody and placed on three years probation for stock pilling thousands of donated toys intended for needy children. Virginia Prieto Kelly was convicted in July of grant theft she faced of up to five years in prison , San Diego superior Court judge ruled that Kelly must at least spend 60 days of her sentence in county but can serve the remainder on house arrest. It is unfortunate that a person has to take from the needy , hopefully Kelly learned her lesson and doesn't commit any crimes .

Toni Ma'ree ; Tuesday - Today I was reading about in Washington Fisher-Price is recalling more than 11 million tricycles other toys and high chairs over safety concerns. Fisher-Price Consumer Product Safety Commission said that Thursday the tricycles and high chairs were soon to be blamed for children’s injuries . Fisher-Price was recalled for around 7 million Trikes and Tough Trikes toddler tricycles . Agency’s interpret of 10 reports of children being hurt , which six of them required medical attention. Plastic ignition keys near the seats that children were able to strike or could sit and fall on which can lead to injuries that commission said that can conclude genital bleeding. Fisher-Price Also , recalled Healthy Care , Easy Clean and Close to Me High Chairs after 14 reports of problems. Pegs that were on the back of the high chairs can be used to store the tray but children were getting involved with cuts and other injuries. In today's news, my reading involved san Diego and its convention center. For the percentage of years the comic con has been debuting here in san Diego since as early as 1970. But some controversy has been come up for the future of it still taking place here in san Diego. Many people are saying that many hotels raise the prices in cost living for this three day event many people are unable to afford it because of the high cost demand mostly in downtown san Diego. Comic con’s current contract with the san Diego convention center expires in 2012 which led organizers to begin looking else where for 2013 to 2015. comic con representatives said they really have not mad any plans on taking comic con out of san Diego but prices do have to be lower so san Diego officials have further said that they will indeed lower the costs of hotels so that it will continue to stay located here in san Diego.

Today I read about a toxic red mud flood in Hungary. Four people were killed after a reservoir broke and flooded three villages on Tuesday. Two of the four people were children of 1 and 3 years old, A 35 year old man was killed in his car, and a woman was killed in her home. Rescue workers got involved and are looking for seven people who are missing. They have treated a good percent of people that were hurt, 116 casualties, including eight people who were seriously hurt. At least a million cubic meters of red mud have spilled so far witch the State Secretariat of Government Communications interpreted as a state of emergency.

Today I read about FANS LOVE THEIR UNDERDOG,BUT FEEL FRUSTRATED. A ticket buyer Charles Coon, 61, says he admired the team because of the way they got through the season. But the one thing that pissed him of was that the players did not give it 100 percent on the hit. The game sales involves the business around it like for example 2 stores got less business feeling disappointed. Though this happened the padres still have a lot of hope on them that they will rise again .Dori Jaffe 62, is a big fan and she said she remembers in 1998 you couldn’t hear yourself even think from the loud cheers. Another fan Keith Eshalman ,61,say the dodgers have better players but the padres have way more hustle and drive. Then fan Erika Ferreira said shed be disappointed if they did not make it to the play offs as I'm sure many more fans would be too.
Today on the second article I read is titled Inmate Arrested In 2008 Double Saying. On December 2005 there was a party in Valencia park which had something very scary happen as 3 cars stopped by and 2 guys pulled out 2 hand guns and yelled out a lot of threats. The threats scared many people and 2 of them being Monique ,17,and Michael ,15,. As they were 1/4 of a mile away from the party 2 gun men shot both of them. Monique died instantly and Michael died s later it was tragic but the criminals were found, his name being Cruz. There was 2 other suspect named Derelle Oliver 19, and James Tyler who were identified as the ones who pointed the guns at the party. Oliver did plead guilty and was sentenced to 9 years in prison. The other suspect Tyler is still awaiting his trial. They are happy the found the people who cause this tragedy but it doesn’t not bring these kids back to their families.

Wednesday- Today I read about the San Diego Fire Fighters are going pink. At Station 12 in Lincoln Park, crew members showed-off new pink T-Shirts Tuesday. The shirts are being purchased by Fire Fighters with proceeds benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Battalion Chief Gina LaMantia says the Department has had many members, as well as family and friends, affected by breast cancer. "And we wanted to do something to show our support in the community So, we decided to make two different shirts that we could wear on duty that had pink on them. LaMantia says just after this year's T-shirt campaign began, one of their Engineers was diagnosed with breast cancer. The woman will soon begin chemotherapy treatments. LaMantia says members of the community who wish to show their support for their Engineer and others dealing with breast cancer, are welcome to buy a T-Shirt. They're available to the public through the Fire Fighters Union 145 located at 10405 San Diego Mission Road in the Mission Valley area. Again, proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer support and research.

Today I read an article titled BLAST INJURES 15 IN NORTHERN MEXICO. In a plaza in northern east Mexico there was an explosion injuring 15 people and suspects are The Drug Cartels. Out of the 15 people injured 45 percent of them were children but the injuries were not life threatening everybody returned home. It was the second attack in two days because of a conflict the zetas and the gulf drug cartels. ON Saturday near the federal courts in Nuevo Leon there was 3 grenade attacks injuring a security guard. There has been 22 cartel members killed and 30 suspects have been captured the attorney of Nuevo Leon Alejandro Garza believes the attack was to cause anxiety. Because of the fact that the hurling of grenades to authority is not new it is weird because they don’t usually involve group of bystanders. The most recent attack besides these recent ones was 2 years ago on independence day in western Morelia were 8 passed away in this tragic incident.

Toni Ma'ree ; Wednesday -Today I was reading about in Monterrey , Mexico there was an explosion at a plaza in northeastern Mexico which injured 15 people .Sunday authorities blamed drug cartels that were targeting the civilian population to involve chaos. Police believed the attackers Saturday night threw a grenade at the town of Guadalupe. Six children , the youngest was said that they were among the injured, The injuries were not life threatening but victims had returned home from the hospital . This was the fourth time that an attack happened to in the area around the city of Monterrey . They were to interpret its all about a turf war between the Gulf and Zetas drug gangs. Friday night three separate grenade attacks also happened but near the federal courts and outside there was a security guard who did get injured in the attack at the courts . So , they truly do believe that this all might have been an attack against the civilian population and that their just trying to create chaos and anxiety in the population.

Wednesday- Victor Perez who believes a higher power was involved Tuesday when he chased after a vehicle suspected of carrying an abducted 8-year-old girl in Fresno, California. Perez, 29, tuned in to television news coverage of the abduction, paying attention to the description and video of the suspect's pickup truck. At about 6:45 a.m., Perez was outside his house talking with his cousin about the abduction when they saw a vehicle matching that description: an older-model, reddish-brown Chevrolet with a white stripe on the side. He said “god works in funny ways”

Today I read an article named POLICE SEEKS POSSIBLE YOUNG VICTIMS OF ALLEGED PIMP. A 34 year old guy named Leroy Bragg or other wise known “Snipe king". On September 28 he was charged for trafficking a minor and solicitation of other crimes, he is also suspected of kidnapping a 14 year old girl and prostituting girls. He has been locked up and if convicted of all charges he will be in jail for life. The police found these two young girls while they were inspecting hotels in L.A. West of downtown to see if they had been properly documented. The girls said they had been kidnapped by Braggs and held hostage for a while. One of the Young ladies was sent back with her family and the other one to foster care. The girls had to get a tattoo that marks their owner their “pimp” to show that’s their property. The often try to cyber encourage a young vulnerable girl promising clothing happiness and everything they have ever wanted and their will be other prostitutes involved the encouragement of this tragedy. This crime was 100 percent sick these girls are practically babies. But who but a sick minded bastard like Bragg would interpret why they would do something so cruel and sick minded.

Thursday-Today I read about 21 people suspected of entering the county illegally and were arrested Monday in Mission Beach after they came ashore on a boat, the group of 19 men and two women were taken in custody.19 were determined to be from Mexico and two were from Honduras all were arrested without incident and were processed for return to their country. Using boats to smuggle people into the United States from Mexico has increased in many years as federal authorities made it more difficult to cross legally by land. My personal opinion on this story is that its sad there are people willing to come over here and put in hard work and people are ungrateful and don’t appreciate them, they just want to have a life like the rest of us and feel free, we should let as much Mexicans as we want come over here!

Tuesday- Today I read about genetic engineers that have been tinkering with the food we people eat for decades. This is happening in Santa Rosa where a harvester works through a field of genetically modified corn on a dairy farm. Its states that the corn is resistant to weed and provides cleaner feed for dairy cows. Scientists have already determined that its safe to eat. The fish would be the first such scientifically altered animal to reach the dinner plate. Its crazy that there playing around with what we eat it better be safe. I wonder if people about this because it looks like this is about to get bigger. Is it okay to do this ?

Wednesday- Today I read about the total tests of nuclear weapons in the US. When they tested them it was during 1945 threw out 1992. The total was 1,030 including 210 atmospheric, 815 underground, and five underwater. Thos were a lot of nuclear weapons tested. President George H.W. Bush said that a unilateral moratorium on nuclear weapons testing in 1992. President Bill Clinton extended the moratorium and in 1996 it was going to be tested. Its crazy that they talk about like if it was toys when there Nuclear Weapons. If I would be working in testing them out I would of loved it I guess I would take it like toys but its dangerous.

Friday-Today I read about a wife of an American man missing who reported a pirate attack on a U.S.-Mexico border lake said Thursday that she might take a lie detector test if people continue to doubt the veracity of her account. Hartley was on several CNN shows Thursday recounting what happened last week on Falcon Lake. She also talked about her feelings about people doubting her account of the alleged attack. Mexican authorities reported earlier this week that they could not verify the shooting , police say they just want the body to be found. Hopefully the body is found and people will find the truth out so there can be peace and closure.

Today I read about an article titles Drivers Action Helps Girl Escape. a girl recovered to her family 11 hours after missing thanks to Perez involving himself in the situation. Perez a driver was a lot of help thanks to recognizing the described kidnap truck he helped the girl escape. He recognized the truck because of the amber alert he saw a video from the surveillance video of kidnappers video. The kidnappers name is Gregorio Gonzales a 24 year old gang member from bull dog street gang. Victor Perez tried stopping him first by telling Gonzales I need to talk to you and he said his truck was messing up and he needed to leave so Perez said ok. The suspicious part that helped Perez interpret Gonzales was a liar is that he saw a little girls head later in the car showing that he was hiding her and was obviously not his daughter. Thanks to Victors stubbornness to keep trying to cut the driver he saved the girl he pushed her out of the car but nothing happened to her and victor says he thanks god that god put him in this situation to help the little girl. The family should be very thankful cause out of all the girls that go missing only about 10 percent are found again.

Toni Ma'ree ; Friday -Today I was reading about a woman who was badly hurt in a car stunt. In Carlsbad the woman who was involve in a stunt had called ghost –riding was injured and two other people were arrested early Monday. Friday- Today I read about the legalization on the Cannabis. It’s a big argument that cannot be ignored. The government want to try it out like it is in Amsterdam. Amsterdam has the lowest percentages on crimes. By legalizing Marijuana the government will receive hundreds and thousands of dollars a year. If it passes it will soled just like a store of Cannabis you get to pick and even in some CafĂ© places. Some people think bad stuff can happen but they don’t say what exactly bad stuff. In my opinion by legalizing it I think the bad things will go away. Right now people are in jail people get killed other people think bad about them just because Marijuana is illegal. I really don’t mind what happens but its sad that people get killed just because they need to get weed off the streets.

Today I read about the new studies about the suns weird reactions lately. Previously scientists had thought that radiation that hits the earth rises and falls in line with the suns activity's. Research by Imperial College, London and the University of Colorado in the U.S. examining solar radiation interpreted that levels of visible radiation reaching the earth actually increased during 2004 to 2007. NASA involved their satellite, which launched in 2003, scientists were then able to compare it earlier, less comprehensive data. A good percent of people that have been studying the earth agree that the suns magnetic activity is lower than it has been for several hundred years.

In today’s news, the Pakistani immigrant who tried to detonate a car bomb on a busy Saturday night in times square had accepted a life sentence with a smirk on Tuesday and warned that Americans can expect more bloodshed at the hands of Muslims. The Pakistani immigrant had to be aware because that the war with Muslims has just begun. He had further said to be alarmed because he is just said to be the first droplet of blood that will follow. The Pakistani immigrant had built a propane and gasoline bomb and drove it to the heart of the city in an SUV in May was foregone conclusion, since the charges to which he pleaded guilty carried a mandatory life sentence, which under federal rules will keep him behind bars until he dies!
