Monday- Today I read about a mother that was accused of neglecting her disabled son. I think it is disgusting how she can just do that. I don’t know how dumb she is for even thinking she has a chance in winning this case. She left her son to sleep in a bed that was not only moldy but stained and with urine and feces. Also the brother will be facing the same charges. This family is really sad, how can you do that to a disabled person? Especially your own blood. The son died and never had a chance because he was sent to the hospital a little too late. There looking at about 7 years but I think they deserve way more then that.
It's been seven weeks since former Pentagon official John Wheeler suffered a fatal blow, his body thrown in a trash bin and trucked to a landfill where his remains were spotted New Year's Eve. And as the weeks drag on, Wheeler's widow Katherine Klyce and their entire family are having a hard time understanding why authorities haven't been able to solve the case yet. When a medical examiner announced that Wheeler died of blunt force trauma after being assaulted. Klyce was unable to reach her husband on his cell phone during that time. "That just made me madder, " she told the online magazine Slate. She said the couple was supposed to be in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for a wedding New Year's Eve. She went alone.
Monday-
Today I read about Elisa Baker, the stepmother of 10-year-old Zahra Baker, she was indicted Monday on second-degree murder charges in the girl's death. Zahra was reported missing from her Hickory, North Carolina, home in October, and some of her remains were found a month later. The stepmother already was charged with obstruction of justice after police said she admitted to planting a fake ransom note. The girl lost part of her left leg at age 5 and lost hearing in both ears while being treated for cancer. Elisa Baker was also charged last month with bigamy. She is accused of marrying the girl's father before divorcing her previous husband.
Today I read about 2050 looking different as now and will not be recognizable. The worlds population is 7 million and by 2050 it will be 9 million. This will occur especially in the poorer countries. Because of this we will have too produce as much as we produced in 8,000 years. Incomes will rise if this comes to be true. People seem to eat more meat when they're income gets higher more then when they had less money. The scientist and farmers need to find a better way to make more money. "For 20 years, there's been very little investment in family planning, but there's a return of interest now, partly because of the environmental factors like global warming and food prices," said Bongaarts. The only way to is by family planning if we want our planet the same.
Thuesday-
Today I read about four hostages on board a yacht hijacked by pirates last week were killed by their captors. The vessel, named the Quest, was being shadowed by the military after being captured by pirates off the coast of Oman on Friday. Officials had said earlier Tuesday it was less than two days from the Somali coast. Americans Jean and Scott Adam -- the owners of the ship -- along with Phyllis Macay and Bob Riggle had been traveling with yachts participating in the Blue Water Rally since their departure from Phuket, Thailand, rally organizers said Sunday in a statement on the event's website. The group, which organizes long-distance group cruises, said the Quest broke off on February 15 after leaving Mumbai, India, to take a different route. As negotiations were ongoing with the pirates for the hostages' release, gunfire was heard at about 1 a.m. I think that these attacks are insane and should stop at once.

Wednesday- today I read about a sixteen year old boy who committed a first degree murder. He is a student in the Pinellas County School System. He has been arrested before, mostly for property crimes. He was obtained Tuesday night by the authorities in Florida. They want to charge this teenager with first degree murder in the shooting death of police officer David Crawford. This officer was part of the St. Petersburg police department. The officer was a family man that loved horses and talking with people. The shooting happened Monday night when Crawford got out of his car a big gunfight, the teen distributed multiple and fatal shots to the officer at close range. I think this teenager varied from any other teenager.

Today I read Honduras seeks to stop smoking — even at home. In Honduras you can get a cop visit by lighting a cigarette and someone complaining about 2nd hand smoke. The fine of the ticket will be 311 dollars. People from the law itself feel that this might not work for people will always smoke legal tobacco. The law bans smoking at clubs and schools etc. but not strictly at home so it makes no sense don’t think it will work cause if they're trying to do this they should have banned selling tobacco. Ugh these people are not smart, wow I think it wont work.

Today I read about a girl in first grade, Christine started inexplicably gaining weight and suffered a violent seizure at home one evening, losing consciousness and convulsing. The ER doctors who treated her concluded that the seizure had been brought on by the 102-degree fever she'd been running, but Vicki suspected it wasn't that simple. When she looked closer, Vicki also noticed what appeared to be a small bruise or birthmark on the left side of her daughter's neck. That, too, seemed like nothing, but when the marks didn't go away after a couple of weeks, Vicki took Christine to the doctor. Christine will undergo a brief procedure to fine-tune the tissue in her jaw this summer, and she'll have to visit Dr. Siebert's office every five or six months after that. She has a scar that stretches from her underarm to her shoulder, an incision mark on her neck, and, three months after the surgery, her face is still a bit swollen. But she's going to school again and is starting to feel like she's returning to normal…

Friday- today I read about two children that were swept by a creek. This happened in graves county. The four kids were traveling in a horse drawn carriage with their family. It was a Thursday night. The street that they were passing through was flooded. The mother and two other kids made it to a safe area. The other four kids didn’t, and were swept along with the carriage to a creek close bye. They found the first body around midnight shortly after the incident. Then they recovered another two thirty minutes after. They are still searching for the other child that is missing
I read an article by the name of 4th child found dead after buggy tipped in creek. Some3 emergency workers in Kentucky found a girls diseased body. They believe that the girl might have been clinging to a rock for a while but no one found her. Two adults and three children which were in the buggy survived and so did the horse. Redmond says the group was traveling in a downpour in the dark and did not see how deep the water was or how fast it was moving, but the tragedy will remain and these kids will rest in peace.
Thursday-
Today I read about three bodies of children that were swept away in a creek were the water was intense. The first body was found just after midnight the other two were located about 30. Minutes later. The search continued on Friday for the fourth child. The children were traveling with their Amish family in a horse-drawn carriage on a flooded street in Graves County when the carriage flipped over Thursday evening. There was six children and the mother. The mother and two of the children managed to get away safe from the current but the other four were swept away. I think that people should know about these type of natural disasters more. Like think about it who rides a carriage; A CARRIAGE! With six kids and it’s raining very intense and ride next to the creek where the water forces are extremely dangerous. I don’t know if it is me but some people are just to stupid.
Friday-
Today I read about a 21 year old man that admitted the threats that he posted on the web against the creators of South Park and got 25 years in prison. On Thursday. Zachary Adam Chesser encouraged the threats against the show when the show made a episode were the prophet Muhammad is dressed in a bear suit. He posted online the creators address and names and said to “Pay them a visit.” Chesser pleaded guilty in October to providing material support to terrorists, communicating threats and soliciting others to threaten violence. The three charges carried a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. I think that this is a very ridiculous all those years for just a threat? But than again he was a terrorist so that should make him be in jail for life hahahaha.
In today’s morning blog I read about Gadhafi's palace that was torched and its windows smashed by protesters who say this relic of a hated regime was once the city's scariest place. This vary with the other houses that been torchered only because they had been haunted. The people that made this Gadhafis palace a mess distribute it into broken peaces. They obtain what they needed to make this place a mess.
