Monday- Today I read about two Pennsylvania men convicted of a hate crime in the beating death of an undocumented Mexican immigrant were each sentenced Wednesday to spend nine years behind bars. Derrick Donchak, of Shenandoah, and Brandon Piekarsky, of Shenandoah Heights, were found guilty in federal court in October of several charges, including hate crimes and depriving the victim Luis Ramirez of his civil rights. The two were both acquitted of murder charges in state court and convicted of simple assault. In January, a federal jury found former Shenandoah Police Chief Matthew Nestor and officers William Moyer and Jason Hayes not guilty of conspiracy to obstruct a federal investigation in Ramirez's July 2008 death. Hayes, who was also accused of falsifying police reports, was acquitted of the two charges against him.

Monday – Today I read about a little girl named Christine Honeycutt that had a rare disorder called Parry-Romberg syndrome. The rare disorder is an extremely rare autoimmune disorder that affects roughly one in a million people. Her own immune system had turned against her so that one side of her face was developing normally while the other side was slowly deteriorating. It usually starts in childhood and gets worse over time. The disorder seems to be more common in girls. It doesn’t seem to be generic. At the age of 11 Christine got plastic surgery to fix her face from the damage her disorder had done. The doctor distributed tissue into her face to even it out with the other side of her face .

Monday- Today I read about a robbery that occurred in Escondido. During this robbery someone got injured really bad. This person got stabbed in the back a couple times. This robbery happened around 2 A.M. and this is when two men in their twenty’s entered the 7-eleven on east grand avenue and tried robbing the convenience store. The clerk was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds but they were not life threatening. I think the guys will sooner or later get caught up because people talk and once they open their mouth there going to get caught up. I think the guys are retarded for doing what they did.

One smart passenger in the plane named Neil Monday captured a 2 minute video on his iPhone. The only reason they got to see this on their flight is because it had got delayed ,first time the passengers are ever happy about that. Tuesday- Today I read about A northern California couple have offered a "full confession" for their role in kidnapping Jaycee Dugard and holding her for 18 years. Dugard was 11 years old when she was snatched in 1991 from the street in front of her home in South Lake Tahoe, California. Authorities say the Garridos held Dugard in a hidden compound behind their home for 18 years. She was 29 when she was found in August 2009 at the Garridos' home in Antioch, California, about 120 miles from her house. Garrido, a registered sex offender on parole at the time of his arrest, has been accused of fathering two daughters with Dugard during her captivity. Philip Garrido will next be in court March 17, according to the El Dorado Superior Court website, for his arraignment -- a step that has been delayed amid questions about his mental competence. There is no posted date for Nancy Garridos next court appearance.

Four children died and three were injured in a fire. There were seven small children, between 15 months and 3 years of age. The fire came from her leaving the stove on and having a pot on it containing oil. She left the kids by themselves to go get groceries. And when she came back she saw the fire.

Tuesday morning, the authorities warned that shifting winds could blow the fire into a more heavily populated area. This fire has not caused any injuries but it has destroyed one house and some unoccupied camping spots. This wildfire had begun on Monday morning and is still on. the rain had bought the firefighters some time to manage the wildfire but they are still at it. About three hundred homes could be at risk if the wildfire is blown down the south of east central Florida.

This guy only had a range of 18 years of having her kidnap.

Today I read about Pirates that seized a Danish yacht with seven people, including three children. The boat, carrying a family of five including the youngsters, aged 12 to 16, and two crew members, was hijacked in Indian Ocean on Thursday, February 24. On Monday the Foreign Ministry confirmed a distress signal had been received last week, and that it was doing "everything in its power" to assist the captives. Last month, Somali pirates killed four Americans after capturing their 58-foot yacht, the S/V Quest, in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Oman. Jean and Scott Adam, from California, and Phyllis Macay and Bob Riggle, from Washington, were shot dead as negotiations to secure their release were under way. I think that not even the waters are safe to be around at because there killing people there too; and it sucks because now people won’t really go to places like those.

Today I read about a California teenager kidnapped his 5-month-old baby and fatally stabbed the child as pursuing deputies watched before the teen was shot and killed by police. The teenager’s name is Christopher Earl Glass, and his son as Christopher Earl Glass Jr. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded about 11 a.m. Tuesday to a reported child abduction in Palmdale, about 60 miles north of Los Angeles, the department said in a statement. "They were told that a 17-year-old suspect had kidnapped his 5-month-old baby son from a person who was taking care of the baby and drove away," police said. After an investigation was launched, police learned that the teen had called the baby's mother and threatened to harm the child, the statement said. An Amber Alert was issued for the baby. After about two or three minutes, the vehicle crashed into a building, authorities said. The teen got out of the car and ran, and deputies chased him on foot. Other deputies went to the car, got the baby, "and raced him to the hospital in their radio car," the sheriff's statement said. "Unfortunately, the baby was pronounced dead at the hospital.“Meanwhile, the suspect broke into a home at random, as authorities fired at him in an attempt to get him to stop, police said. "The suspect was able to break into the home, with deputies chasing after him. A second deputy-involved shooting occurred inside the home." The teen was killed, police said. No deputies were injured. I think that this teenager added support to the fact that adults say teens are irresponsible and stupid which we are not.

Today I read about one dead man, and one injured that were found at a church in North Arlington, Texas.Authorities have not officially identified the victims. The Arlington Police Department said it will need to consult with the medical examiner's office before doing so. However, church members who gathered outside NorthPointe Baptist Church after the discovery Thursday afternoon said the 29-year-old pastor of the church had been killed and his 67-year-old ministry assistant wounded.A family member of one of the victims contacted police after not being able to reach their loved one. A friend who went by the church saw a person lying on the the floor motionless through a church window. Police arrived a short time later and discovered the two victims inside. Police said a car belonging to the ministry assistant is missing and may have been taken by a suspect or suspects in the case. I think that this world is too crazy I mean a ministry beign assasinated in God's humble church that people can call home is now not safe to be at. Although something does seem fishy in this case because what if the assasin was makeing deals with the minister and the minister failed his part of the deal so he killed him and then the other person was watching him kill the minister and the assassin caught him and killed him too so he wouldn't snitch humm interesting story I say.

Today I read aboutv prosecutors are expected to file formal charges Friday against a 12-year-old Colorado boy suspected in the deaths of his parents and the critical wounding of two siblings. The boy, whose name has not been released, appeared in court in Fort Morgan Wednesday night in a closed hearing. The judge advised the youth of his rights and ordered him held without bond until his next court appearance. The next appearance is to be in Burlington, where the shooting occurred, on March 14. Burlington, a town of fewer than 4,000 residents, is located near the Colorado-Kansas border. The boy called 911 on Tuesday to report that at least three people in his house had been shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of the boy's parents, both in their early 50s. Officers also found two critically wounded children: a 5-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, whom authorities identified as siblings of the boy in custody. The children were taken to an area hospital and then transferred to a facility in Denver. My opinion is that this is insane that the government only wants to take money out of people I mean it's a little kid were talking about what kind of dumb idiot will kill someone there own parents! Than call 911 and tell them? He's a little kid he proably didn't know better and if I am wrong than maybe he did have some serious problems and wanted his parents killed they made him mad or something who knows who cares right.

The body of Betty Jean Boyd Taylor was found in her kitchen of a second floor apartment on Menlo Avenue near El Cajon Boulevard. Investigators said Betty Jean most likely dropped a cigarette into the sofa, and the apartment filled with smoke and heat late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. The windows were closed and a towel was tucked at the bottom of the door to keep out drafts, and appeared that Betty Jean died of smoke inhalation.
