Monday-today I read about the wife of Miami dolphins star receiver Brandon Marshall has been charged with stabbing him in the abdomen with a kitchen knife during a domestic violence incident, according to a report from the Broward County, Florida, sheriff's office. The couple, who have no children, have been married one year and have been involved for 2 1/2 years The report listed the wife at 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds. Brandon Marshall is 6-foot-4 and weighs 230 pounds, according to the Dolphins roster. Michi Nogami-Marshall, who is 26 years old, was charged Friday evening with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, which allegedly occurred in their Southwest Ranches, Florida, home, according to the sheriff's report.
Monday- Today I read about a football player named Brandon Marshall that was stabbed by his wife. He plays for the Miami Dolphins as a receiver. The wife’s name is Michi Ngami-Marshall. She stabbed her husband in the abdomen with a kitchen knife. She was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. They have been married for one year and have been together for 2 ½ years. Monday- Today I read about a prison that went on lockdown because there were people fighting. The name of the prison that went on lockdown is the Oregon State Penitentiary. They went on lockdown on Sunday night after a series of fights that happened. The first fight that occurred was at two thirty pm. Some corrections officers and inmates suffered minor injuries in the fighting. Staff personnel used chemical spray to break up the fight, and six inmates were taken to disciplinary segregation. While staff members were responding to the fight, about 75 other inmates left the recreation building and began fighting on the recreation yard. All activities and visits were canceled for the rest of the day and for Monday.

Today I read about 800 classified U.S. military documents obtained by WikiLeaks reveal extraordinary details about the alleged terrorist activities of al Qaeda operatives captured and housed at the U.S. Navy's detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The secret documents have been made available to several news organizations, including the New York Times and the Washington Post - and some have been published by WikiLeaks, an organization that facilitates the anonymous leaking of secret information. The documents shed light on the way detainees behaved while at Guantanamo, and on how they were assessed in terms of their danger to the United States. They are intelligence assessments of nearly every one of the 779 individuals who have been held at Guantanamo since 2002, according to the Post. The classified files described some of the detainees as being compliant while others threatened violence against guards. One stated he would fly planes into houses. I think that these documents should be out in the open because we pay are taxes that’s how the prison was built and we should know everything that goes on in that prison.
Today ive learned from the reading that A Los Angeles Police Department helicopter had to make an emergency landing Sunday morning after a gunman opened fire on the chopper
today i read an article titled Study: Some happy states have high suicide rates.Researchers who study how people's sense of well-being have found that the states who have the happiest people ghave the highest suicide rate.Andrew Oswald says "Discontented people in a happy place may feel particularly harshly treated by life".The researchers came up with their rankings from a federal survey of behavioral risk factors and U.S. Census Bureau numbers on suicide rates to test the subject. Its true because when you live in a happy place and your not happy you feel left out and begging to get depressed which can make you then a suicidal person. It lists the top 10 states for well-being as Utah, Louisiana, Colorado, Minnesota, Wyoming, Hawaii, Arizona, Delaware, Florida and Nevada. Four of those states also are in the top 10 for suicide rates, with Nevada ranked 3rd, Wyoming, 5th; Colorado, 6th; and Utah, 9th. Among the others, Arizona was 11th and Florida, 15th.But the researchers said that because of variations in culture and suicide-reporting systems, it's hard to make comparisons from one country to another. This article an studies seem reasonable and if your going to be surrounded byhappier richer people than you then dont live there.
In Monday’s morning blog I read about a old man that got out of prison that have placed a pipe bomb in a Colorado mall was released from prison where he served time for a bank robbery a week before the botched bombing, a law enforcement source says. He didn’t have a good scheme to plan this bomb because he had got caught. He was registered in jail for a long time for planning this bomb that he couldn’t make his proportion was not that good when he got out that bank robbery.

Investigators were looking for the three suspects who may have been armed with an assault rifle. The sole shooting victim in that incident was reported in stable condition, police said. But , as said police do not have anyone in custody.

Tuesday-today I read about Police in New Hampshire are searching for a missing mother after her baby daughter was discovered in an abandoned car with its engine running and hazard lights flashing The car was discovered early Saturday morning by an unidentified passerby who noticed the flashing hazard lights. When the witness "approached the car, they found that it was unoccupied, it was running, the driver's door was slightly ajar and there was a baby in the back seat, "We don't have any information that leads us to believe that she's not alive, and we're going to continue to investigate as if we can reunite her with her family," Perley said in a Monday press conference.
Tuesday- Today I read about three suspects being arrested for mugging people in the subway. All three suspects live in Atlanta and are being held on charges including aggravated assault, aggravated battery and robbery by force, MARTA police announced Monday. The suspects that they arrested for mugging two Delta Air Lines employees are a 16-year old male whose name is not being released because of his age and two brothers, Zantavious Sanchez Scott, which is twenty years of age, and Jarquez Scott, which is nineteen years of age. Transit police said they are continuing their investigation and searching for others who may have been involved.
Tuesday- Today I read about a woman who is missing. They found her baby daughter in an abandoned car with the engine running and the hazard lights flashing. Krista Dittmeyer has not been seen since Saturday, when the 14-month-old was found alone in her car, parked in the parking lot of a ski area. The car was discovered early Saturday morning by an unidentified passerby who noticed the flashing hazard lights. The witness alerted police and the baby was taken to nearby Memorial Hospital. Police also conducted a thorough search using fire and rescue personnel. Dittmeyer, who lived with roommates in Portland, Maine, had no history of mental illness and no criminal record. Authorities are also executing multiple search warrants and applying for a warrant for Dittmeyer's cell phone records.
In today’s news , three people were killed in a building fire in the Bronx , in New York. It was said that the New York City Fire Department told reporters that about 100 firefighters battled the blaze. In addition to the three fatalities , four people had also suffered minor injuries as well. But officials have not determined what the caused the fire.
In Tuesday’s morning blog I read about a LAPD helicopter getting shot at. A Los Angeles Police Department helicopter had to make an emergency landing Sunday morning after a gunman opened fire on the chopper, authorities said. The helicopter landed safely and the pilot and observer on board were not injured, said police Detective Gus Villanueva. This was not a good scheme to do. This was not a good proportion either because it was related with the LAPD. But yet the police has not registered the gunman’s names.
Tuesday- Today I read about The Justice Department filed an appeal late Thursday, and helpfully provided the justices with a DVD of a 2003 episode of the now-canceled "NYPD Blue" on ABC, on which a naked woman was shown. Explicit language is heard with greater, albeit varying frequency on cable television, the Internet, and satellite radio, which do not use public airwaves. But the federal government is charged with responding to viewer complaints when "indecent" language and images reach broadcast television and radio, which is subject to greater regulation. That is especially relevant during daytime and early evening hours. The Supreme Court first ventured into the broadcast speech debate in 1978, when it ruled as indecent a monologue by comedian George Carlin on society's taboo surrounding "seven dirty words." The bit had received some radio airplay. The justices said "context" should be applied when deciding whether words or images are "indecent.”
On today’s news I read about how in China seized 26 tons of melamine-tainted milk. It was said that police in southwestern China seized more than 26 tons of melamine-tainted milk powder intended for use in ice cream. Three people have been arrested for been in connection with that case. Melamine is commonly used in coatings and laminates, wood adhesives, fabric coating, ceiling titles and flame retardants. Apparently some Chinese dairy plants add the chemical to milk products so they appear to have higher protein level. In 2008 milk got tainted and killed at least six babies, and caused kidney stones and urinary tract problems in hundreds of thousands of children. Twenty-one people were tied and sentenced for their roles in the scandal. Two were executed, the company at the center of it filed for bankruptcy. The Chongqing seizure took place on March 25. City officials announced it on Tuesday, as they kicked off a 100-day food safety campaign.
Wednesday- Today I read about a toddler who killed his mother. The boy was 2 and a half years old. The father called 911 after he shot his mother in the back. The father was trying to take the gun away when it discharged. The boys mom was named Julia Bennett, she was 33 years old. She was shot in the back and died from that gun shot. The boy’s father hasn’t been indentified by the police yet. The father says that his son picked up the gun and he tried to grab it. The boy wont face charges because of his age but the father could face negligence. The mother and father were not married and didn’t live together. Now police are telling parents everywhere to not leave guns accessible to children even if they think the gun is not loaded. It’s not safe nor smart

Today I read about eight coalition troops and a civilian were killed Wednesday in a shooting at an Afghan air force compound in Kabul. The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan said an Afghan military pilot opened fire on international troops, sparking a "gunfight." The Taliban, however, claimed responsibility for the attack and said it had been working with the shooter for some time -- an assertion that NATO denied. There also was confusion about the death toll. The NATO-led force initially said six service members were killed. It raised that toll to nine but backed away temporarily before saying again that the shooting killed nine people -- eight international service members and a civilian contractor. The international force did disclose the nationalities of the eight service members and the civilian. An Afghan official said at least six U.S. troops were killed. The shooting started at the Afghan national air force compound at North Kabul International Airport after an argument between an Afghan pilot and an international colleague, officials said. The NATO-led force said an Afghan military pilot opened fire on international trainers and a "gunfight" ensued. I think that it’s a dangerous job being out there in the wilderness just waiting for something to pop off and you can start shooting people.

Today I read about a tattoo that helped solve a 2004 murder case. A Los Angeles gang member who was recently sent to jail was charged with murder. When the cops opened up the case they found the same traits as how the scene was; the man will be sentenced next month. I think that damn this guy is really dumb I mean how are you going to do some stupid thing like that; retard.

This incident happened at around 2 a.m. on February 13. An indictment was returned Tuesday by a grand jury in Superior Court of the District of Columbia. According to a news release, Haynesworth could face up to 180 days in jail and a maximum fine of $1,000 if convicted.
Thursday- Today I read about the case of a daughter found in her mothers car. They found chloroform in the trunk of the woman’s car. Prosecutors are saying that the substance to kill her 2-year-old daughter. She now faces a capital murder charge in the death of her daughter. The girl’s name is Caylee. She also faces six other charges including aggravated child abuse. The little girl was reported missing July 2008. Five months later investigators found her remains. A FBI fingerprint examiner has testified that she saw residue consistent with the shape of a heart on duct tape found near Caylee's remains. Heart-shaped stickers were found at Anthony's house. Thursday- today I read about Tennessee's top investigator said Monday that searchers have found an item that officials believe belonged to the 20-year-old nursing student who disappeared ear lier this month. Mark Gwyn, director of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, said the item in question was being analyzed at a crime lab. He declined to say what exactly was found. The Bobo case has rocked this largely rural swath of central Tennessee, from those who knew the young woman to others who have rallied behind the effort to find her. Hundreds of volunteers -- some on horseback and foot, others on all-terrain vehicles -- have turned out to hunt for clues in Decatur, Henderson, Henry, Carroll and Benton counties. Many more have attended memorial services or offered supportive thoughts online via several groups on Facebook.

Friday-today I read about Phillip and Nancy Garrido pleaded guilty Thursday to the kidnapping and sexual assault of Jaycee Dugard, whom they held captive from age 11 through 29, the El Dorado County, California, district attorney said. Both Garridos will receive life in prison at a sentencing hearing scheduled for June 2, District Attorney Vern Pierson said in a statement. Phillip Garrido, 60 years old , pleaded guilty to one count of kidnapping and 13 counts of sexual assault, Pierson said. He faces a maximum possible sentence of 431 years to life in prison and he has waived his right to appeal, Pierson said. She will be sentenced to the negotiated disposition of life in prison, Pierson said. She will receive a 25-years-to-life sentence under the "one strike" rape law, plus 11 years, which is the maximum possible sentence for the kidnapping charges based upon the sentencing laws in 1991, Pierson said.
Thursday- Today I read about a couple that pleases guilty to kidnapping and assaulting a 11 year old girl. There names are Phillip and Nancy Garrido. Both of them got life in prison. They took her when she was 11 years old and she is now 29 years old. Her name is Jaycee Dugard. The married couple abducted Dugard when she was 11, and they held her in a hidden compound on their home's grounds. She was taken from the street in front of her house. Phillip Garrido was a registered sex offender on parole when the whole thing happened. Jaycee had two kids with Phillip. He also said the woman used vulgar language, continued acting in a boisterous manner and had a strong odor of alcohol on her breath. The police officer has been placed on administrative duty pending an investigation. One video posted on YouTube had received more than 100,000 hits by Thursday

Today I read about For decades, Richard St. Denis has advocated for the rights of Americans who, like him, are living with a disability. But the attorney from Colorado saw his life shift in 1997, when he was invited to speak in Mexico. "I was asked to bring one wheelchair to give to somebody," he remembers. "As I was waiting for the program to begin, I was shocked to see people using branches for crutches, being pushed in wheelbarrows and crawling." The lone wheelchair went to Leti Elizale Marcial, a 17-year-old suffering from polio. She had never walked a day in her life, and she was carried around daily by her mother. "I saw how happy she was, but I looked around and saw the other people that had nothing," St. Denis said. "Their life was going to be exactly the same, and one wheelchair was not enough. I just felt someone had to come and help." So once a year from 1997 until 2004, St. Denis would load a van with 10 to 15 donated wheelchairs and drive 30 hours -- from Colorado to Mexico -- to distribute them to people with disabilities. I think that it’s a good thing.

Today I read about how did Osama bin Laden escape the dragnet that closed in around his mountain hideout in Afghanistan in December 2001? It's long been a topic of discussion in intelligence circles and among those (myself included) who witnessed the intense U.S. aerial bombardment of Tora Bora that went on for nearly two weeks. Many analysts have suggested that bin Laden slipped through mountain passes into Pakistan, just a few miles away. But assessments of Guantanamo Bay detainees suggest he went in another direction, evading the mujahideen of the Northern Alliance, as well as the small detachments of U.S. special forces who we first saw in the area around December 8th. The detainee assessments were made public by Wikileaks this week and published by the Washington Post, the Guardian and other media outlets. One of them, compiled in 2007, is about a detainee called Harun Shirzad al-Afghani. Al-Afghani was a commander in the militant group Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin, a close ally at the time of al Qaeda. Al-Afghani claims that the al Qaeda leader escaped the area thanks to a Pakistani militant and cleric called Maulawi Nur Muhammad. And he says bin Laden headed north toward Jalalabad and later to the remote province of Kunar in north-east Afghanistan. In a few brief paragraphs at the end of his profile, al-Afghani is quoted as saying that he was directed by Afghan warlord Gulbuddin Hekmatyar to "link up with al Qaeda forces in Tora Bora and exfiltrate OBL from the region." That group "lost radio contact with the Arabs in Tora Bora." (Hekmatyar, incidentally, is still a serious player in the region, loosely allied to the Taliban and regarded by many analysts as a critical part of any peace deal in Afghanistan.) I think that’s cool.
Monday-today I read a woman who lives in Tierrasanta that was arrested for child endangerment after her 2 year old baby boy was mauled by there dog if she is convicted she will be sentenced to 19 years in prison. She pleads not guilty. An arrest warrant declaration provided details about the July 31 incident that lead to her sons death. It said a neighbor called 911 at 11:30am telling them he has been hurt. The paramedics arrived to the families two story duplex and found him upstairs. He had cuts all over his neck hear and face. Much of his skin on the middle of his face was gone. Carlson told police that everything was a blur from that night. The arrest warrant said she take medication the warning label said not to mix with alcohol. But had not taken it for three days.
