Today I read about a woman who was blinded in an acid attack seven years ago said Sunday she stopped the "eye for an eye" punishment for her attacker because "such revenge is not worth it.“ A physician was to drop acid , under legal supervision , into the eyes of Majid Movahedi on Sunday, according to Fars News Agency, to punish him for throwing acid in Bahrami's face. The act disfigured her face and blinded her. Bahrami stopped the punishment minutes before it was carried out, she said, adding that Movahedi already had been given anesthetic. She said two men were instrumental in bringing about her change of heart: a doctor at a clinic in Spain and Amir Sabouri, an Iranian who helped her get medical attention. Sabouri told her to forgive Movahedi and prove to the world that Iranians are kind and forgiving, she said. However, she said Movahedi is unrepentant and has been rude to her, even after she halted his punishment.

Monday- Today I read about a judge ordering Casey Anthony to return to Orlando to serve a year of probation stemming from her check fraud conviction. Anthony pleaded guilty in January 2010 to felony check fraud charges, admitting she stole a checkbook from her friend Amy Huizenga and wrote five checks totaling $644.25. At the time, defense attorney Jose Baez asked that Anthony be given credit for time served and be placed on probation. The judge had been presiding over her murder trial until April 2010, when he rescued himself after the defense accused him of being a "self-aggrandizing media hound" who is biased against Anthony. Orange County Superior Court Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. took over, and stayed in that position through the trial. A jury acquitted Anthony of charges in Caylee's death. The 25-year-old Orlando woman was released from jail July 17. Her whereabouts since then have been unknown.

Tuesday- Today I read about a serial killer. This serial killer was on trial and they were trying to find out what to do with him. The serial killers name is Anthony Sowell. Anthony Sowell killed eleven woman that all lived in the Cleveland area. All those killings that Anthony Sowell happened in a short time period of two years. It was from two thousand seven to the year two thousand nine. The jury is deciding whether to put him in jail for the life sentence or to give him the death penalty. Jurors on July 22 convicted Sowell of 11 counts of aggravated murder and more than 70 other charges, including abusing corpses and kidnapping. The sole not-guilty verdict came on an aggravated robbery charge. I think he is getting the death penalty.

Tuesday- Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for two children believed to have been abducted last week by their mother's boyfriend in western Tennessee. Terry Nichols, 51, is accused for kidnapping three-year-old Jilleeann Calderon and four-year-old James Brown in Obion County, according to a statement from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The TBI says Nichols also abducted his 16-year-old niece, Ashley Burse, and her three-month-old baby girl, Ava, from a Walmart in Kennett, Missouri. Nichols is the biological father of the infant, Missouri officials said. All the children were last seen Wednesday, but weren't reported missing until Monday, authorities said. Nichols has previous criminal convictions for child abuse, officials said. He is wanted for aggravated kidnapping and is known to carry a weapon, they said. Authorities said Nichols and the children may be travelling in southern Alabama in a 2001 white Dodge Caravan with Tennessee license plate 286WPL.

Today I read an article titled Enrique Iglesias Says He Has the Smallest Penis in the World. Latino singer Enrique Iglesias admitted on stage at an odd concert in Melbourne last night that he has the smallest penis in the world. After that he spilled about his first time. He then said "I grew up with a lot of my friends and all of them lost their virginity with hookers, not that there’s anything wrong with that. They had to pay for it. I wanted to wait for the right girl so I waited until I was 25," he shocked the audience. Then it got weirder and he corrected himself saying he lost it at 17 and a half. I don’t know but if he does have the smallest penis oh well he still a cutie.

Today I read about the operator of Japan's crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant has detected the highest radiation levels at the facility since the initial earthquake and tsunami five months ago, a company spokesman said Tuesday. The ultra-high levels of radiation were measured Monday afternoon on the grounds of the facility, between reactors No. 1 and 2, Tokyo Electric Power Company spokesman Naoki Tsunoda. The lethal radiation was found at the bottom of a ventilation tower. The power company immediately cordoned off the area and is currently investigating the cause of the high radiation and how it will affect the recovery work at the plant, Tsunoda said. The radiation levels -10,000 millisieverts per hour -are high enough that a single 60-minute dose would be fatal to humans within weeks.

Today I read An article about Man in SpongeBob Mask Robs a 7-11 in Florida. A man in a sponge bob mask an another man jacked a 7 eleven in Orlando ,Florida. Several shots where shot by the two gun men but everything was fine and they got away with the money. "It´s not unusual for criminals to distinguish their identity. It is unusual he would use that particular character," a spokesperson for the Osceola County Sheriff said.Ofcourse I think the guy only wore the mask to hide his actual face from the cameras though its funny he used a sponge bob one.

Thursday- today I read about A police officer that was killed. Other then that, also two other police officers were wounded. This all took place in western South Dakota's Rapid City. This happened just because a random man dared to pull out a gun and fire several times at the officers of the law. This whole incident happened on Tuesday. The shooting was the first on-duty officer fatality in the city of 68,000 since 1985. It lost an off-duty officer in 2001. The officers had been talking to the group for about 10 minutes when one of the men pulled out a gun and fired several rounds at the officers. One of the officers returned fire.

Wednesday- Today I read about Casey Anthony, she will not have to return to Orlando on Thursday to start serving probation for a check-fraud conviction, according to a judge's order released Wednesday. Anthony will not have to start serving the probation until there is an emergency hearing so that a judge can address complaints from Anthony's attorneys about the probation. Anthony originally was ordered to report for probation by 10 a.m. Thursday, said Gretl Plessinger, communications director for the Florida Department of Corrections. Anthony was cleared last month of murder charges related to the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. But she was convicted in January 2010 of felony check fraud charges, admitting she stole a checkbook from her friend Amy Huizenga and wrote five checks totaling $644.25. Thursday- Today I read about the medical examiner's office in Concord, New Hampshire, completed its autopsy Tuesday to determine how the 11-year-old girl died. Celina's body was found by divers searching the Connecticut River on Monday, one week after she was last seen. The girl's father, Adam Laro, said he was heartbroken and grasping for answers after hearing the news. Celina's body was found around 10:30 a.m. Monday by divers from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department near a hydroelectric plant outside West Stewartstown, New Hampshire, according to the attorney general's office. Young described it as a "routine search because of the proximity to (Celina's) home," about one-quarter mile away. The site is also near the Canadian border, where the Connecticut River forms the border between New Hampshire and Vermont. The discovery came a day after Laro who was in the hospital when Celina went missing said that he was like others "wondering where my daughter is" and hoping she was safe. On Tuesday, the father thanked all those authorities and residents who had put their time and effort into finding Celina.

Friday- Today I read about a man whose homeless, schizophrenic son died last month from injuries sustained in police custody. He turned down a $900,000 settlement offer from the city of Fullerton, California, and intends to sue. Ron Thomas claimed he had resisted hiring an attorney because he didn't want to be inhibited from being "a voice for my son."Kelly Thomas, 37, was taken off life support on July 10, five days after he was shocked repeatedly with a stun gun, beaten with flashlights, kicked and hog-tied by six police officers, witnesses told local media. On a cell-phone video taken by a bystander, a person in apparent distress can be heard shouting, "Dad! Dad! Dad!" during the incident. A photo of a man purportedly taken after the incident and identified as Thomas was posted online. It shows the bruised and swollen face of a bandaged, bearded man lying on a bloodstained pillow. Witnesses say Kelly Thomas was beaten by police officers. He died five days later. It is difficult to tell whether the photo is of Thomas. The man's battered features are virtually unidentifiable.
