Monday- Today I read about a millionaire being guilty of murdering his wife. The man’s name is James “Bob” Ward and the wife’s name is Diane Ward. She was shot in the head in 2009. James Ward was 63 years old. According to police Diane was found in the master bedroom in a large pool of blood at the top of her head and a .#357 Magnum handgun on a nightstand next to the bed. She was shot between her eyes. The defense rested its case Thursday, a week after testimony started. It asserted that Diane Ward died after a struggle over a loaded gun, not because of any ill intent of her husband. The prosecution pointed out that Ward called 911 the night of the shooting and said, "I just shot my wife," then offered shifting stories as the call progressed and later in his conversations with relatives and colleagues. They said that his stories were inconsistent at best, while the evidence suggests that he pulled the trigger.
Tuesday- Today I read about the primary suspect in the brutal beating of a of a San Francisco Giants fan at Dodgers Stadium. He is a documented gang member on parole for a number of convictions. Giovanni Ramirez is associated with the Varrio Nuevo Estrada street gang, one of 34 gangs in a 15-square-mile area east of downtown Los Angeles. Ramirez was arrested Sunday and ordered held on $1 million bail. Ramirez was convicted of attempted robbery in 1998, robbery in 1999 and firing a weapon in public in 2005. He said Ramirez has been cooperating with authorities while in custody, though he declined to elaborate. Authorities say he was taken into custody shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday after police served warrants at a home and an apartment building in connection with the assault that led to Bryan Stow from Santa Cruz, California, being put into a coma. Stow was attacked in the stadium parking lot following the first game of the Dodgers' and Giants' seasons on March 31. Police withheld Ramirez's identity until his booking Sunday evening on an assault with a deadly weapon charge. In addition to Ramirez's arrest in East Hollywood, police seized evidence and detained several others -- all of whom Los Angeles police said they expected to release after they were questioned."This investigation is in its very early stages," Police Chief Charlie Beck said Sunday afternoon outside the stadium. "There are at least two other suspects who we are actively looking for."Stow's assault has galvanized law enforcement and other authorities in Los Angeles. In particular, security has clamped down at the park in the Chavez Ravine section of Los Angeles.
Wednesday – Today I read about 13 people who have now died from consuming bacteria tainted cantaloupe which has caused plenty of deaths .It has spread to 18 states & was first reported on September 12th , the cantaloupes were grown in Colorado – 13 deaths , 72 illnesses , the deaths happened in a little bit of every were , when people were sick there side effects were fever , muscle aches , & other gastrointestinal symptoms, people w / a week immune system are more susceptible to get sicker than others .
Wednesday , today I read about a Taliban attack that killed 8 officers and destroyed a police post. Three more officers were injured on Tuesday night attack, an investigation revealed it was an inside job. “it is now clear that a policeman from the post had contact with the Taliban who invited the Taliban to conduct the attack” the spokesman said. On Tuesday morning it targeted a bakery killing two civilians and injuring 26 others. It was the second attack in providence that day.
Wednesday- Today I read about human remains that were in the Utah desert. The remains belonged to a male. They thought it was a 28 year old mother who disappeared in 2009. Scharmann said the state medical examiner is working to determine the cause, time and other circumstances of his death. In addition to Powell, authorities must now determine what happened to the man whose remains were found in the same region on Sunday. An attorney found the bones in the area where his family owns ranch property. Investigators will likely dig for more body parts, Bill Manion, a medical examiner for Burlington County, New Jersey."The most important bones that they can find are the jaw and mandible, part of the skull, because if we have the teeth, we can be very, very accurate in identification,'' Manion said. Meanwhile, the search for the missing woman continues.
Thursday- Today I read about he mother of a 6-year-old boy found dead in the Maine woods is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday after she was arrested a day earlier, authorities said. Julianne McCrery, 42, faces a charge of second-degree murder in the death of her son, according to Michael Delaney, the New Hampshire attorney general. A tip from someone who saw a suspicious vehicle near the boy's body helped police in making the arrest, Delaney said. McCrery was arrested at a rest stop in a pickup truck that fit the description of the one authorities were looking for, CNN affiliate WHDH reported. She was reading the Bible when she was arrested.
Thursday – Today I read about the performer TI who was released from an Atlanta halfway house . The performer spent the last 14 days in the halfway house to complete his 11-month prison sentence for a parole violation . ., spent seven months in an Arkansas prison in 2009 as part of a sentence negotiated to resolve federal gun charges. Those charges followed his attempt to buy three machine guns in the parking lot of an Atlanta grocery store .
Thursday, today I read about a powerful Mexican drug dealers wife that gave birth in Los Angeles in the twins birth certificate the father name was left blank. The dad Joaquin “el chapo” Guzman is wanted by U.S authorities for leading an operation that has allegedly trafficked hundreds of tons of cocaine into the U.S. over a 20-year period. For his efforts, his cartel has received several billion dollars, according to U.S. anti-drug officials. The justice department offered 5 million dollars in reward for him. Guzman who is 54 married a 22 year old beauty queen Emma Coronel in 2007. Emma caries both her U.S and Mexican citizenship and she apparently violated no U.S law in coming to California to give birth. Officials were aware of what had happened but kept it a secret until a Los Angeles times revealed the news. The twin girls were born August 15 in Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California, according to the records.

Thursday, today I read about a person that was killed and 16 others injured on Thursday in three separate chain-reaction crashes involving 176 cars north of Nashville, the fog and black ice caused this accident. There was a school bus with children. The 16 injured persons were toll critically ill they were just transported to the hospital for a check up even though there was 1 dead person.
Friday , today I read about a couple in Hong Kong that got divorced. The Hong Kong judge ordered a wealthy real estate mogul to pay his former wife $154 million in one of the city's largest divorce settlements. Court documents released Thursday detailed a breakdown of the ruling. Samathur Li Kin-kan and his wife, Florence Tsang Chiu-wing, married in 2000 and separated in 2008, according to court documents. They lived a lifestyle "best described as just below that of a US- dollar billionaire," The wife told local media she was "delighted" as she left the courtroom smiling.

The plan was to provide false documents claiming Mexican nationality for Saadi Gadhafi and his family, and to purchase a number of properties in Mexico for use as safe houses. Pierre Christian Flensburg, a Dane, was in charge of logistics, Poire said, and was arrested on November 11. Also arrested was Mexican Jose Luis Kennedy Prieto, who helped obtain the phony documents, The suspects face charges that include falsifying documents and opening bank accounts under false identities.
Friday, today I read about Thousands and thousands of children suffered from sexual abuse in the Dutch Roman Catholic Church over more than six decades, and about 800 "possible perpetrators" have been identified, an independent Commission of Inquiry "Several tens of thousands of minors have experienced mild, serious and very serious forms of inappropriate sexual behavior. Victims have often suffered for decades from the effects of abuse and have received acknowledgment of the fact," the panel says in its report. "This has caused problems for them, their immediate family and their friends, who require attention and sometimes professional counseling."In the last few years, reports of sexual abuse have regularly led to meetings between the victim and the perpetrator," the report says. "In most cases, the perpetrator or the responsible administrator has expressed regret. Apologies and compensation generally date from after 2000."
