In today’s paper I read about how Tyler Weinman, the teen accused of killing and mutilating at least 19 cats in South Florida in recent months has been released from jail. Weinman, 18, posted bond on Tuesday, but could not be released pending results of his psychiatric evaluation. Judge John Thornton released Weinman, saying the teen was "competent" to be released under VALID electronic monitoring. Thornton said Weinman would be allowed to attend the counseling recommended by a doctor. Arraignment is set for July 6. Weinman smiled a lot during the proceedings and spoke to Corrections Dept. personnel, Local 10's Glenna Milberg reported. "He did not do this crime," said Michael Walsh, Weinman's attorney. "He is not violent. He is a victim of circumstances.“ According to Walsh, the defense has not been allowed to see whatever evidence prosecutors have against Weinman, citing that other suspects may be involved and releasing information would compromise the investigation. He said that public outcry led to Weinman's arrest. Weinman's father and stepmother were present at the hearing but they left the courtroom without an ADEQUATE comment. Friends told Local 10's Jonathan Vigliotti that the family has taken their son’s arrest very hard. “She’s a good person. She volunteers and takes care of the elderly. She can’t believe this is happening,” said Robert Ehrman about Weinman’s mother, Alba. The two moved in across the street from Ehrman 3 years ago, after the teen's mother separated from his father. Alba Weinmen spoke with Ehrman the night her son was arrested. "She was just devastated, shaken that this would happen," Ehrman said. Friends of Weinman’s father and stepmother said they are overwhelmed by the development. Since Weinman's arrest, the family's personal information -- from phone numbers to addresses -- has been published on blogs throughout the Internet. The Weinman's have allegedly received threatening phone calls at home and at work. Detectives said they have no doubt Weinman is the ringleader of a group that stalked, captured and violently killed cats ins the Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay area. Miami-Dade police say that of the 33 ANNUAL dead cats reported since April, 19 of them are being linked to Weinman. If found guilty, Weinman could face time in prison. But family friends said that until then, it is important to treat him as innocent until proven guilty. I think that Weinman is obviously guilty, and that he should definitely face prison time. He is truly a sick individual, and he shows it when he smiles to the judge as court is in session, showing him that he does not at all regret what he has done.

Today I read about a pregnant woman that was stabbed to death. Jenna Nielsen was 22 years old and she was 8 and a half months pregnant. She was working on her newspaper route. She had that job to help support her family that she had she was married with two other children and had one on the way. She was filling up a machine of newspapers at about 3:30am when someone stabbed her in the neck. Police do not believe that she was the person the killer was looking for but he killed her anyways. Jenna still had her purse and her jewelry so it was not robbery the parents of Jenna believe that it was someone had attempted to sexually assault her.
Interesting Facts- her life came to a violent and abrupt end on June 14, 2007
My Opinion- I think that the cops are lazy and they probably did not find the killer because he was white or something. I hope they do end up finding the killer and then they kill them. The killer probably gave the cops an ADEQUATE amount of money to not arrest him. There is a VALID reason that the killer should be killed. The family of the victim probably go visit her in the grave ANNUALY.

In today CNN news, a young lady by the name Jenna Nielsen was murder and she was 8½ months pregnant. The Carolina police have made no ADEQUATE evidence to find the killer. Her husband said she had no enemies and had a VALID job structure. She was killed while making news paper drop-offs. Jenna was stabbed in the neck . She was working her new job on a newspaper delivery route she'd taken to help her young family make ends meet. That's when police say she was ANNUAL stabbed to death in front of a convenience store in Raleigh The family is offering a $15,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for Nielsen's murder.
I hate to have to read story like this one and to write about what I read.
