Week 115 monday thru friday morning blog

you should have 5 comments for each week.
Label the days
for example:

Monday- In todays reading, 8 Troops Killed in Battle in Afgan,
( 8 sentences ) I learned that, the Battle lasted 12 hours as hundreds of militants fired on outpost, official says. Hundreds of militants attacked American and Afghan troops in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, opening fire on an outpost from multiple locations with rockets, mortars and heavy-caliber machine guns, according to an initial U.S. military report on the battle.

At least eight American troops and two members of the Afghan National Security Force died the largest number of Americans killed by hostile action in a single day in more than a year, according to CNN records.

Eight U.S. troops, two members of Afghan National Security Force killed in fighting. Coalition forces say they called in airstrikes, repelled attack from militants. Incident marks deadliest day for U.S. troops in Afghanistan since 2008

( 3 reflections...I agree or not agree...because)
I am saddened by the deaths of the troops, they have many family members that morn their innocent deaths. I hope the president can figure something out so no more of our troops die fir nothing. I can't stand the terrorist who attack just to make a statement, these are people's lives that are used.

monday-Today I read in the newspaper about a robbery that happened on the e street trolley station. This happened when a man asked a gut for money and he gave it to him. Then the man followed the other guy to the trolley station and asked for all of his money, the guy refused to give him all his money. Then he beat him with a crowbar. Then they got into a small car and were chased by the police and crashed into a tree. This is sad because instead of looking for a job people turn to illegal things to get money.

(Monday-Jesus) in today's paper I read that the Phillies lost against the New York Yankees 7-4 the Yankees have won 3games from the world series and the Phillies have only won one the Phillies came back in the 6th inning and tied the game 4-4 then at the end of the 8th the Yankees scored 3 runs and the game ended 7 to 4 the Yankees now the Yankees only have to win one more game out of three to officially win the world series. In my opinion I think its nice that the Yankees win the world series even though they have won it like for 10 years already but the Phillies won last year and the Yankees are my 2nd favorite teem hopefully the padres can get there next.

Monday- Today I read about a radical group leader who was shot and killed by FBI agents. This stand off was said to have been lead by the man who was shot. The agents stated that this man was resisting arrest and then pulled out a weapon and fired at agents. Well that was his mistake because as soon as he fired agents fired and he was shot and died instantly. This situation was because this man ran a group that was anti-law and he preached to his followers about taking out law enforcement. He even stated that if you have and carry a weapon do not be scared to use it on any one. The group was started by a man who is currently spending life in prison for shooting two police officers and killing one. FBI says they are not having any of this nonsense and are planning to tear down this whole outbreak.
This was an interesting article for the reason that some anti-law guy was shot and killed by non other than the FBI. I agree with the FBI when they said they are going to take down the whole group. I agree because then they become terrorist and start doing dumb stuff to pedestrians and end up killing random people.
I learned that you can not mess with the FBI because they will find you and shoot you down if they have a chance.

In today’s news a suspect was arrested in the killing of four people in North Carolina. Authorities have arrested Marcos Chavez Gonzales in a motel room in Virginia. The police have ASSESSED that Gonzales was involved in this situation. The police chief said that there were four Hispanic males that might have been RELATED. Two of them died during the shooting and the other two died in a nearby Hospital. The location of Gonzales hiding was announced at 2:30 am by a mysterious person. Some police men agreed with the CONCEPT of arresting Gonzales while others disagree until they had enough evidence. Gonzales, 29 will be extradited from North Carolina.
I do think he should be arrested then either released or locked up when the police puts more evidence. I do think he was the murderer and should go to jail. I estimate he will get about 5-25 years of jail.

This morning I read an article about a woman who fell from a bridge on Wednesday. She slipped and fell off the Lemon Grove Ave. over the 94 freeway. Officials tried to talk her down while traffic was stopped for about two hours. She was walking along the bridge and she told another pedestrian that she was going to jump. Then she climbed over the fence and stood above the freeway. People called 911. After she fell, paramedics performed CPR, and took her to a hospital. They said her condition was not known. I think she probably will die or be brain dead. This story is RELATED to another story I read about another lady who was threatening to jump off a bridge last week. I think people should really ASSESS the situation before they threaten suicide.

This morning I read about a babysitter accused of letting a man photograph children he babysat. Aaron Zendejas pleaded guilty to committing lewd acts on a child. The lewd acts were kidnapping allegations, and production of child pornography for commercial purposes. On December.1 Aaron Zendejas could be sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. Aaron did not rape the children himself. He is getting charged for acting as an aider and abettor who was paid to bring the children to Jared Yaffe of Santee. Jared Yaffe faces 20 counts related to child molestation, kidnapping for sexual acts and production of child pornography. Jared Yaffe can face up to 120 years to life in prison.
I think the CONCEPT of what these to guys to children is disgusting. When I ASSESS something wrong disgusting and disturbing I think of men or women who molest little children. I can definitely not RELATE to these guys. Now because of hat they did the little kids who had to go through this will probably never be the same.
I learned that you can’t really trust other people with your children, you have to be very careful nowadays.

In today’s paper I read that a 28 year old woman entered a water drinking contest on a radio station and died! She died of acute water intoxication a Sacramento county jury on Thursday awarded $16.5 million to the family of the 28 year old woman who died in my opinion I think that is messed up that things went wrong and that now the family has to live with such pain and its also cool that the city or jury paid the them a good rewarding price. But it doesn’t take the pain away.

Tuesday- Today I read about celebrities who had really expensive things stolen from. This started as some kids used the internet to break into houses of the rich and steal their most expensive valuables. They targeted rich people like for example Paris Hilton who was one of the victims. The article reads that the kids would go onto the internet and look at blogs and all kinds of websites to see what these famous people had and then they would break in. When they broke in they would go in through the front door or maybe through a window they were so eager to get these valuables they even went through the doggy door to get inside. There were millions of dollars worth of things that were stolen. There were five arrests and two were woman who in all are being charged with burglary.
I think that this article was shocking because I have never heard of any one breaking into celebrities homes and steal some of the most expensive valuables. The people were caught by the police only because they had leads.
I learned that no matter if your rich you too will be taken advantage of.

Police on Tuesday were investigating the apparent gunshot deaths of four people in a home in the upscale Haymount neighborhood of Fayetteville, North Carolina, authorities said. Police were called to the residence at 8:08 p.m. Monday by someone who reported there were bodies inside, Police Chief Tom Bergamine said in a news release. Bergamine said police were able to see the body of a woman in the house before entering. Once inside, officers also found the bodies of an older man and two juveniles -- a male and a female. Police did not name the four. I think at this time, there is no reason to suspect foul play; however the investigation remains in its early stages According to the Cumberland County tax assessor's office, the home belongs to William Maxwell Jr. and his wife, Kathryn. Family friends told the Fayetteville Observer newspaper that the couple have two children -- a daughter, Connor, and a son, Cameron.

Today I read about congress chief budget analyst delivered a devastating assessment yesterday of the health care proposals draft by congressional Democrats fueling an insurrection among fiscal conservatives in the house and pushing Senate negotiators to redouble efforts to draw up a new plan that more effectively restrains federal spending. Under questioning by members of the Senate Budget Committee Douglas Elmendorf director of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said bills crafted by House leaders and the Senate health committee do not propose the sort of fundamental changes necessary torein in the skyrocketing cost of government health. I think they should exclude people that don’t have anything to do with it and imply it to the ones that do. And focus on the components.

This morning I read an article about Obama’s daughter’s getting flu shots. People are complaining that they’ve received preferential treatment. Michelle Obama was quoted saying that the girls were vaccinated at least two weeks after the first American’s received shots and after the vaccine became available to other Washington schoolchildren. Also, there hasn’t been any vaccine shortages reported in Washington schools. I think the Obama’s are setting a good example for parents. I also think that people are overreacting about this. I don’t think the public is understanding the CONCEPT, and they are jumping to conclusions. People should ASESS what they are going to say before they open their mouth.

tuesday-Today I read in the newspaper about a boat that was intercepted by U.S. customs and border protection the boat had 20 illegal immigrants and they were all arrested. The arrest happened at around 4 pm near an Oceanside beach. The illegal immigrants are expected to be deported. Hopefully they are being treated in a humane way, because most of the time immigrants get treated very badly. It is in my opinion that instead of entering the country illegally they should just get a visa or a passport. This way they don’t have to worry about getting deported.

Today I read about a group of teenagers from Hollywood that used the internet to rob celebrity houses. The teenagers tracked Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton outings and broke into their houses and stole millions of dollars worth. Their stealing spree lasted almost a year. The teenagers also stole from Audrina Patridge from “The Hills” , Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green, Ashley Tisdale and Rachel Bilson. After watching a home the group would break into poorly protected properties through doors, windows, and in some cases doggy doors. The buglaries lasted from October 2008 to just this September. This group graduated two years ago. They stole because of their fascination with the celebrities and of pure greed. Lindsay Lohan’s and Orlando Bloom’s publicist did not comment on the situation. Audrina Patridge’s publicist declined to comment. Paris Hilton’s retrieved most of her stolen belonging, but not all.
When I ASSESS these teenagers and what they did think of the word stupidity. I also kinds of RELATE to these teenagers in a way. Celebrities to have a lot of nice things, and sometimes I want everything they have, but I would never steal it from their houses, that is really dumb.
I learned that the CONCEPT of stealing does not work out most of the time. There is a lot of ways to catching criminals.

This morning I read about a 14 year old boy who got charged as an adult for murder for murdering a 4 year old boy. The 4 year old boy was found in the dryer. Usually under the California law children 14 or under are not eligible for the death penalty or a sentence of life without the possibility of parole. The 14 year old boy also faces charges besides murder. He faces kidnapping, sodomy and child molestation. If found guilty the boy can face no more than 32 years to life plus 15 years. An autopsy of the 4 year old boy had proved the little boy was drowned. The 14 year old boy is in a juvenile justice center now.
I just think that that 14 year old must have had some mental issues. Whoever can hurt a 4 year old boy for no reason has serious issues. That 14 year old should not be locked up in a juvenile court center. He should be in a mental institution.
I learned that murders happened everyday, and even children can be murderers.

Wednesday- Today I read about a teenage run away was found. This article stated that this seven-teen year-old girl had ran away from her home because her father had threatened to kill her. The girl said her father had told her that because she wanted to convert her religion from Islam into Christianity. The girl was said to have lived in Ohio and was found in Florida. She is now being kept in a foster home until the court has settled what is best for her. In the article the father is denying everything and said he would love his daughter even if she chose another religion. In the end the girl seems to be happier with out her parents who seem to be very strict.
I think the girl should become emancipated and have her own choice in religion. That is because the U.S is an equal country and the court should help the girl out instead of the parents. I liked this article quite a bit because finally I see an Arabian praising a different religion.
I learned from reading this article that in the U.S you do have a choice of choosing what religion you want to be.

wednesday-Today I read in the newspaper about a kid who could be sentenced to 13 years in prison. This kid was charged with manslaughter, because he was driving a car with six illegal immigrants and they all drowned. The boy who was driving the car was 15 at the time. I believe that they made a mistake because he is just a kid and I don’t believe that kids should be charged as adults. Hopefully they sentence him to the minimum time he can do. I think that this kid must be feeling very repentful of what he did. Hopefully he learned his lesson that crime just leads to problems. Crime never pays.

Today I read a story about a man who pleaded guilty to animal abuse. Hubert Hoffman, 69, was caught pushing a kitten underwater at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Witnesses said Hoffman controlled the kitten with a choke-chain collar and told shocked onlookers that the cat loved to swim and to "mind their own business." He then told a lifeguard captain that he was trying to give his kitten a bath. Hubert Hoffman was also ordered to undergo psychological counseling and forfeit the kitten so it can be adopted. A group prevented Hoffman from leaving the beach, and he was arrested by sheriff's deputies. As part of his probation, the defendant is not to own or possess any animal. I think this story is very disgusting and I don’t think that any animal deserves to be treated like that. That old man needs to ASSESS his actions before he acts on them. I don’t understand the CONCEPT of trying to bathe a cat at the beach.

In today’s news about ten dead bodies were found inside a rapist home. In Cleveland Ohio police have arrested Anthony Sowell for five counts of Assault, Kidnapping, Raping, and murder. Fire officials have helped tear down walls and destroy floors to help police find more bodies. The Cleveland police officials doesn’t want to think that there are more dead bodies, but the CONCEPT of what the other cops think means they still have to search. Five dead bodies of Women have been found inside the house, one in the backyard, and Four buried under the backyard. The bodies might or might not be RELATED but they cant be identified due to the condition of them. The judge will soon ASSESS the punishment for these crimes. The police will continue there researching to identify the bodies and to discover any more crimes.
I think its sad that some people have missing friends or families and don’t know that they might be dead. I do think he committed these murders and should go to jail. A suitable punishment I think would be going to life in prison.

In today’s news authorities say that a dead body in a sex offenders house will be identified soon. In Cleveland Ohio a Sex offender has been arrested for hiding ten dead bodies in his house. Neighbors are angry at the police for not being able to tell the foul odor of dead bodies. The CONCEPT of the dead bodies state that they were horribly murdered by sex offender Anthony Sowell. Seven of the victims can RELATE of the same way they died. Sowell now faces 5 counts of assault, kidnap, rape, and murder. Authorities will soon ASSESS a suitable punishment for Sowell. Authorities said that Sowell went to prison from 1990-2005 and was living in the house were the dead bodies were found.
I think its sad that someone you know was kidnapped then raped and murdered. I think he should spend the rest of his life in prison or get the death penalty. Soon some of the bodies might be identified.

Today I read about a 14-year-old boy told police he drowned his 4-year-old neighbor on Friday because the child had threatened to tell his mother the older boy had molested him, according to an affidavit made public Wednesday. Raul Renato Castro has been charged in Fresno County as an adult, with special circumstances including murder during a child molestation, sodomy, kidnapping and murder of a witness to prevent testimony, according to the district attorney's office. He faces separate felony charges of kidnapping, sodomy and child molestation. The affidavit, filed by the Fresno County Sheriff's Department, says Castro told investigators he lured the victim, Alex Christopher Mercato, into his apartment by telling the little boy he had something to show him.

This morning I read a story about a woman in Tennessee who was making repeated non-emergency phone calls to 911 complaining that her boyfriend wouldn’t marry her. Police say they responded to two calls from her and explained that this was not an emergency situation and to stop calling. She then called again and police told her if she kept calling that she would be arrested. She again called a 911 dispatcher a few minutes later but would not say why she called. Police went and arrested her after that. Police said her calls cost city workers many hours ASSESSING the situation. I think the interesting fact is that police said they also arrested the same woman last week for repeatedly calling 911 because she couldn't find her car. I don’t understand the CONCEPT of this lady’s actions. I think that she is crazy and she shouldn’t be allowed to have a phone if she is going to be wasting peoples time like that.

thursday-Today I read on the union tribune about a shooting that occurred in ciudad juarez. Ciudad juarez is the border city to El Paso, Tx. There was 2 military men killed. It appears that they were the target of this shooting. Because of the violence that often occurs in border cities military people aren’t allowed to cross into mexico. But these men disobeyed that order and decided to go to a strip club. I’m not saying that its there fault that they got shot but if they would of listened to there orders they would still be alive. I think that one day this drug relate violence will end because the government is gonna dismantle all the cartels.

Thursday- Today I read about a detention facility officer was rushed by an inmate. This all happened so fast and looked to be very serious. While the attacker was doing his job four inmates came to the rescue and helped the officer get out of the way of this assailant. The four men were in jail for really serious charges and officers can not explain why they helped the officer. Well the man who rushed the officer caught a new charge and was changed into another unit for security reasons. The four inmates who helped the officer are going to be recognized for their bravery. In the video you can see the man come up to the officer and take flight. While the four other inmates come and swing at the guy who had the officer in a choke hold while another inmate grabs the officers radio and calls emergency.
I agree with the officers in rewarding these brave men. I also think that they should have a second chance out on the streets. I liked this article but it makes me feel bad because my brother is in jail and isn’t getting out any time soon.
I learned that even the most dangerous criminals have a good enough heart to save someone who is in need of help.

In today’s news a teenager admits to killing his four year old neighbor. Raul Renato Castro, 14 drowned his neighbor because the boy threatened to tell his mother that he was being molested. The CONCEPT the police think happened was molestation, sodomy, kidnapping, and murder. Castro said he lured Alex Christopher Mercato into his house when he was alone, then taking him to the bathtub to have sex. Mercato then fell, started to cry and told he was telling his mom, so Castro quickly filled the bathtub with water and drowned the four year old. Castro then went to the apartment laundry room, put his body and some clothes inside and let the dead body inside. Other raped cases have occurred in the U.S and some of them could RELATE to the others. Since Castro is a minor he cant receive the death penalty or the life in prison penalty, so Authorities will ASSESS his punishment.
Its sad that the boy was killed and raped. I think Castro should go to jail for about 20 years. Police will tell more information about this story in the future.

thursday-jesus In today’s paper I read Amid stalled regulations targeting plastic bags, more retailers are trying to avoid bans and fees by voluntarily offering shoppers cash back to change their habits at the checkout stand.
Target and CVS Pharmacy are the latest to offer incentives to customers who bring in their own bags – reusable or not.
And Wal-Mart, the nation's largest retailer, plans to stop offering free plastic bags early next year as part of a test at three locations in Northern California. In my opinion I think that it is cool what they are doing to protect global warming and save money.

Friday- Jesus e In today’s paper I read Friday of the 2008 Breeders' Cup World Championships at Santa Anita was coronation day for Zenyatta.
The then 4-year-old filly won the marquee event of five “females only” BC races that day, the $2 million Ladies' Classic, extending her career record to 9-0 and clinching an Eclipse Award in the Older Filly and Mare division. The rundown is same place, one more race and no Zenyatta as the Cup begins its two-day stand here today. But if Zenyatta isn't on the card, she's very much in the mind of anyone with even the slightest interest in thoroughbred racing. In my opinion I think this is a cool story and a fun sport to do.

Friday- Today I read about a couple who were stealing hundreds of pieces of luggage. The police were investigating the missing pieces from airports and were led to a couples home full of them. The couples home was said that it contained all the missing luggage. The officials said they followed the man go back and forth from the airport and saw him grab a piece of luggage that wasn’t his and go back home. The tags from the luggage were removed and it has made it harder for the police to figure out who it belongs to. This all happened in Phoenix, Arizona and the couple are going to be in big trouble. The couple were taken into custody and are most likely to be charged for theft of private property. They are both going to jail for a long time.
I agree with the police in putting them in jail for a long time. They should be in there for a long time because taking people’s things is very bad. I liked this article because the police actually did their job and put two bad people behind bars.
I learned that people steal your luggage from the airport if your not paying attention.

This morning I read an article about a man who killed his whole family and then he killed himself. He was a North Carolina business man who coached a basket ball team at a religious school where his kids went to school. He fatally shot his wife, his 15 year old son, and his 17 year old daughter. Friends of the family describe as active church goers and good neighbors. They described the son as a student-athlete who helped his father maintain a “meticulous lawn”. They also described the daughter as a cheerleader who was applying to collages. I think that this story is very sad and I don’t understand the CONCEPT of him killing his whole family. Why he wouldn’t just kill himself. Once again I think people should ASSESS the situation before they do something they will regret.

In Richmond yesterday a cop arrested a man that participated in the gang rape. The gang rape took place October 24, and the victim was just 15 years old. Richmond police raided a home yesterday and arrested Elvis Torentes, who is 21. He was held in Lieu of 1.25 million dollar bail. He is also suspected of several other sexual assault charges. Later on that day, suspect Jose Carlos Montano made his first court appearance. He was charged with rape by a foreign object in concert and enhancement for personally committing a sexual act in concert. Four other suspects were arraigned last week.
I am so happy that all the guys are finally getting found. Nobody should get away with rape. That’s nasty and extremely disrespectful to the girl. Guys shouldn’t be thinking they can do whatever they want to a girl, because they can’t. When I ASSESS the CONCEPT of a man raping a woman I think if the work desperate and disgust.
I learned that people who commit crimes will be caught, well some. I also learned that there are many woman who can relate to this situation, which is actually very sad.

In today’s news dead bodies of women were found in a pond in North Dakota. The Three College students were inside a truck that was found in the lake two days after they went missing. The police men said he believed that the girls were calling for help when they were going into the pond. The CONCEPT is that some police men think they were pushed into the lake while others think they accidently fell into the lake. Its was ASSESSED that the three bodies were Kyrstin Gemar 22, Afton Williamson 20, and Ashley Neufeld 21. A lot of Kidnapping and murdering cases are being RELATED one another more commonly in the U.S. Gemar’s parents said that they were in a conference with the other parents to find out what happened. At the Service of these three students 2,700 students showed up.
I think they were kidnapped then pushed into the lake so no one will find them. The kidnapper probably raped them before they were in the lake. Police will do more investigation on the girls.

TODAY I READ ABOUT A SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE THAT TUMBLED INTO AN IMPERIAL COUNTY IRRIGATION CANAL ONE NIGHT LAST YEAR, LOADED BEYOND CAPACITY WITH AT LEAST 20 PEOPLE JUST SMUGGLED INTO THE COUNTRY. SIX WERE KILLED. AUTHORITIES SAY THE DRIVER WAS A TEENAGE BOY WHO WILL GO ON TRIAL THIS WEEK IN A CASE THAT HAS BROUGHT ATTENTION TO THE DANGEROUS PRACTICE OF HUMAN-SMUGGLING RINGS HIRING TEENS TO WORK AS FOOT GUIDES AND LOAD DRIVERS. THE LORDS ALWAYS SAY TELL YOU THAT NOTHING CAN HAPPEN TO YOU, AT OUR AGE WE DON'T HAVE THE MATURITY TO THINK OF CONSEQUENCES.THE ACCUSED DRIVER, ALEJANDRO TORIBIO GAMA, FACES CHARGES OF SECOND-DEGREE MURDER IN STATE SUPERIOR COURT IN EL CENTRO. THE PROSECUTOR DECLINED TO COMMENT, AND TORIBIO'S ATTORNEY DID NOT RETURN TELEPHONE MESSAGES. I THINK THAT SMUGGLING ILLEGAL ALIENS IS A SERIOUS CASE BECAUSE, YOU COULD RUIN YOUR WHOLE LIFE BY RUINIING YOUR RECOD.
I ALSO READ ABOUT A POLICE OFFICER IN THE SMALL TOWN OF WESTMORLAND THAT TRIED TO MAKE A TRAFFIC STOP ON THE 1997 GMC SUBURBAN, TRAVELING WITH ITS LIGHTS OFF. THE DANGEROUS DAYTIME SMUGGLING ATTEMPT THAT PROMPTED THREE FEDERAL AGENTS TO START SHOOTING, SHUTTING DOWN THE SAN YSIDRO BORDER CROSSING TUESDAY, WAS BRAZEN BUT NOT UNHEARD OF. HUMAN AND DRUG SMUGGLERS HAVE LONG TRIED RUNNING THE PORTS OF ENTRY, SOME WITH PREMEDITATION, OTHERS IN A FIT OF PANIC AFTER THEY AROUSED SUSPICION. WHAT I THINK OF WHAT I HAD JUST READ IS WRONG, BECAUSE WHAT IF SOMEONE LOOKS SUSPICIOUS AND HIS INICENT AND THE OFFICERS SHOOT HIM. THAT’S WHY YOU STO[P THEM FIRST AND INSPECT THEM BEFORE THEY SHOOT.

Today in the Union Tribune I read about the gays boycott. They’ve become the weapon of choice for conservative Christians, which I believe those are not even real Christians because Christians are supposed to be peaceful and loving to their enemies so the should just let them be who they want to be and be with whoever they want to be with. Now gay rights groups and their union allies are trying to turn the tables by targeting the Manchester Grand and the Grand Del Mar because the hotels’ owner gave $125,000 to proposition 8. NO on proposition 8. I also read in my morning blog about a man named Walter Ellis was charged earlier in the week with first-degree intentional homicide in the deaths of Joyce Mims and Quithreaun Stokes. On Thursday, Ellis was charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the deaths of Sheila Farrior and Florence McCormick in 1995 and Irene Smith in November 1992. He was also charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Deborah Harris and Tanya Miller who were found dead within a day of each other in October of 1986. Ellis has not yet been charged with the deaths of Jessica Payne and Carron Kilpatrick.
