week 116 morning blog monday - friday

you should have 5 comments for each week.
Label the days
for example:

Monday- In todays reading, 8 Troops Killed in Battle in Afgan,
( 8 sentences ) I learned that, the Battle lasted 12 hours as hundreds of militants fired on outpost, official says. Hundreds of militants attacked American and Afghan troops in eastern Afghanistan on Saturday, opening fire on an outpost from multiple locations with rockets, mortars and heavy-caliber machine guns, according to an initial U.S. military report on the battle.

At least eight American troops and two members of the Afghan National Security Force died the largest number of Americans killed by hostile action in a single day in more than a year, according to CNN records.

Eight U.S. troops, two members of Afghan National Security Force killed in fighting. Coalition forces say they called in airstrikes, repelled attack from militants. Incident marks deadliest day for U.S. troops in Afghanistan since 2008

( 3 reflections...I agree or not agree...because)
I am saddened by the deaths of the troops, they have many family members that morn their innocent deaths. I hope the president can figure something out so no more of our troops die fir nothing. I can't stand the terrorist who attack just to make a statement, these are people's lives that are used.

Monday- Today I read about how candles killed three children. This happened in Tijuana Mexico few days ago. Well the article reads that some candles had broke a fire out and the house caught on fire. The three children’s parents were not there at the time. The kids names were Tania 16, Luisa Angelica 13, and Jose Luis Zarate Gomez 3. They were all found by firefighters on the second floor of the buildings. The firefighters were called by the neighbors who were reporting the fire and that’s when the firefighters found something even worst. The parents were not at home at the time but I’m sure they were devastated by their loss. The firefighters were really sad also because they were just kids.
I think this was a really bad story because there were children who died. I also think that the parents are going to have a really bad time through this horrible situation.
I learned to never leave candles on while not being watched.

(Monday-Jesus) In today’s paper I read that public health experts worried about the spread of H1N1 flu are raising concerns that workers who deal with the public, such as waiters and child-care employees, are jeopardizing others by reporting to work sick because they do not get paid for days they miss illness.
In my opinion I believe that companies and schools should be aware of this and be prepared because anyone can catch this flu but people act like nothing can happen and if you are sick and miss work you should still be getting paid for it as long as you let them know.

Two boats carrying 21 immigrants were caught in the U.S region. The first boat was an 18-foot Bayliner motorboat. It was spotted crossing into the U.S waters at about 4 p.m. Agents checked the vessel and found two women and six men aboard, were all from Mexico and didn’t have any papers. The second boat was a Cobalt motorboat, spotted at about 2 p.m. Two men were suspected smugglers. Two women and a man from Bolivia were also found. All of the suspected illegal immigrants were handed over to the Border Patrol and are expected to be deported.
I think it really sucks for the immigrants that they got caught. I think it is very sad that so many immigrants who want to live in the U.S can’t. I also think that it is becoming harder and harder each year for immigrants to cross.
I learned that it Is very hard for immigrants to cross over to the U.S.

In today’s news no bodies have been found from the catastrophe. No bodies or additional wreckage were found after the collision of two military aircraft’s. A coast guard H-c 130 Hercules from Sacramento crashed as they went searching for a missing boater. Camp Pendleton AH-1W Super Cobra Collide with the Hercules at about 7:10 pm. The coast Guard Helicopter suffered a collision that the FINANCE of the coastguard organization may suffer. The coast Guard and Marine Leaders will use there INCOME to try to bring the missing boaters home. The Coast Guards want California’s ECONOMY to focus more on helping them with there search. The coast guard will hold a memorial service on Friday in memory for the pilots who died during the crash.
I think the missing boater should still be found. Maybe the crash was a pilot error instead of an attack. The coast guards and marines will continue searching for missing bodies and other wreckages.

Tuesday- Today I read about a really crooked hospital. The article read that the hospital was selling new born children. It also states that when a baby was born the doctors would drug up the patient and when they awoke they would tell them that their baby was dead. Well right after that they would get someone to sell the baby to. There were a few doctors and some nurses who were involved in this outrage. The police had a good lead after a woman received an e-mail from one of the doctors son. The e-mail read that her son was still alive and she can still get it back. So then the lady told officials and they were all arrested.
This was an awful story because the baby would have been born with the wrong mom if it wasn’t for the e-mail. The officials saved the day and the mom must be really happy. I think that they should check the whole hospital just in case there were more people involved.
I learned that in Mexico even the doctors are really bad people well some not all.

This morning I read about three doctors and a nurse who have been arrested for selling other woman’s babies. The doctors would tell the woman their baby had died during birth. Police uncovered the scheme after one of the woman learned that her baby was alive and had been sold to another woman for 1,130 dollars. The woman had heard her baby cry, but when she had asked to see the baby the doctors told her to wait until the effects of the anesthetics wore off. Later doctors told her the baby was taken to another hospital. A day later the woman was told that her baby had died. The woman accused of buying the newborn had been arrested. Three doctors a nurse and a receptionist are in custody.
I think that they should all be arrested for a long time to life. Some of those woman who think their newborns have died will probably never get their babies back. All these woman who thought their newborns died have mot likely been very sad.
I learned that Mexico is very corrupt. A lot of people their do a lot of crazy stuff.

This morning I read an article about a couple from El Cajon who had been missing since Halloween night. They returned home safely Tuesday. The woman left her three children with a baby sitter and was supposed to return to take them trick or treating. No one had any idea where the couple was and she had no contact with any of her family until she came home. I think the interesting fact is that they had been fighting before they went missing, so it sounded kind of weird. They said they were at a hotel together. I also think it was funny that she told the police that she was 24 and she could do whatever she wants. I think that if you have three kids, you really cant do whatever you want. Once you have kids, you do whatever they need. Ignorant people shouldn’t have babies.

In today’s news a massacre was said to be sentenced to death today. John Allen Muhammad, 48 is to be sentenced to death by lethal injection. In 2002 he was murdering people on the streets of Washington D.C with a sniper. His records show that he didn’t have a job so he had no INCOME. Its been said that Muhammad has been killing Random people around the country for the last couple years. Muhammad was married in 1995 and had three children but got divorced and lost custody of his children because of FINANCIAL trouble in 2001. His goal was to kill his Ex wife to get custody of the children, but he was caught and failed. Because the ECONOMY was slowing GOVT don’t spend $ on programs to stop crimes.
I do think it is a good decision to sentence him to death because he wouldn’t be able to hurt people anymore. And his wife should get custody of the children so they don’t get hurt. Also since a lot of murder, kidnapping, and Rape cases have been going on I think the GOVT should get more programs to stop crimes.

tuesday-More than $3.6 million in marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine was confiscated at ports of entry along the U.S.-Mexico border by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers over the weekend. Authorities also stopped 267 individuals from illegally entering the country, including four adults attempting to cross in San Ysidro hidden in compartments under the seats of a pickup. To me this is no surprise, because this is a business that will always go on. As long as there is poverty there will always be criminals. Hopefully one day they’ll just open up the borders, because this is a war that the government will never win. For example how many times did this guy cross with illegal immigrants or drugs before he got caught?

Today I read an article about a man being sentenced to mare than 26 years. He was behind the wheel of a bus transporting a group of mostly elderly people from the Sacramento area to a casino in 2008.He apparently veered off the road and the bus rolled over. He was convicted last month of 11 counts of gross vehicular manslaughter and 21 counts of great bodily injury. I think this is very tragic and I think that if you’re a buss driver, you need to be responsible and make sure you get enough sleep. This story is very sad for everyone involved.

monday-Three days after she was abducted near the San Ysidro border crossing, a 21-year-old San Diego student was rescued by Baja California detectives working with the FBI. The victim is a U.S. citizen with residences on both sides of the border who met her abductors at a Tijuana club, Mexican authorities said. Stuff like this is what gives Tijuana a bad name. Hopefully the girl is okay and she could go on with her life. But it also seems kind of suspicious that she has residences of both sides of the border. I personally believe that she has something to do with organized crime. This also shows us why it is very important to travel in groups when you go clubbing in Tijuana.

(Thursday-Jesus) in today’s paper I read Nidal Malik Hasan who used to pray everyday at Maryland Muslim community center was on the eve of his first deployment to war despite his request to be discharged from the army according to his aunt yesterday authorities said Hasan 39, psychiatrist born in Arlington va.. shot and killed 12 people at fort hood army post in central Texas in my opinion I think that it is correct that he is a suspect and I think that if it was him that did all those killings they should really dig deeper. Because it could happen again.

Thursday- Today I read about a woman who said that she went inside to drink a beer with this normal looking guy. The man then aggressively grabbed her by her neck and started to choke her. The woman also said that it went out through the whole night until the morning where she then escaped from the man’s house. She said she was going to tell the police but she was afraid of them not believing her so she told her church. Then police showed up to the man’s house with a search dog and found about fifteen dead rotting corpses in the man’s home. Investigators are trying to figure out the identity of these woman and have only been able to find out three identities. The man is going to prison for a very long time and is not going to be released for any reason. Officials are also trying to trace some missing woman to this man’s collection of dead corpses.
I agree with the police in trying to fit all the missing woman to this man because then it might actually be them. I think that the police are really dumb because they weren’t going to believe her if she told them. I liked this article very much and I think the lady did a good job in helping with all these missing woman.
I learned that when people go missing it usually ends up being they are in a home rotting.

Tuesday-jesus in today’s paper I read that a billboard Convinced that others share their views but may be afraid to admit it, a group of San Diegans who don’t believe in God paid for a head-turning billboard that went up yesterday along Interstate 8 in La Mesa.
“Don’t Believe in God?” the billboard asks atop a background of blue sky and white clouds. “You are not alone.”
It’s part of a national campaign launched in January to raise the profile of nontheists, a small but growing segment of American society. I think this is a bunch of bull crap they are putting up signs for them to feel better if you don’t believe in God keep it to yourself your just making him more famous I think these people are ignorant and don’t know what to believe they are just trying to fit in and be cool but they are just being stupid!

This morning I read an article about three men who were arrested on suspicion of a fatal 2006 freeway shooting. Police say the suspects were on state route 54 at interstate 5 when the pulled up to a car and challenged the occupants to a race. Hand gestures and words were exchanged from people inside both vehicles. One of the suspects then pulled out a gun and started shooting numerous rounds into the car. The shots fired killed 17 year old Jose Anthony Roman. William Mace, 25; John Smith, 24, and Armando Pelayo 22, were booked into jail and a fourth suspect is serving time in prison on an unrelated charges. The article says that the investigation is still ongoing. I think the interesting fact is that they didn’t say anything about how the case was solved. This story is really sad. I know a lot of people who knew him and I think it is very sad for someone so young to lose their life. Also, I cannot use my vocabulary words because this story really doesn't have anything to do with the ECONOMY.

Three men were arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder in 2006. There was a fatal freeway shooting, when 17 year old high school student died. William Mace, 25 of Bonita, John Smith, 24 of imperial Beach, and Armando Pelayo, 22 of San Diego were booked into jail. They were all suspects in killing Jose Anthony Roman Jr. He was a student at Palomar High. Police said that the suspects were in a car, they then pulled alongside a Honda Civic and challenged the three men inside to race. Words were exchanged. The suspects then pulled out a gun and shot a lot times inside the civic. Jose Anthony was killed.
I think pulling out the gun was not a good idea. I think if someone has problems they should not settle it with a gun. All the guys in the car that pulled out the gun are now dealing with the consequence.
I learned that problems should not be solved with a gun.

In today’s news President Obama will make a trip to Asia to make stronger relationships. Obama has been the 1st U.S president to live in Asia for a period of time. Obama will visit Singapore, Japan, China, and South Korea. He wants to settle partners on Issues like the ECONOMY, FINANCIAL problems, and INCOMES. Obama has lived in Indonesia from 1967 to 1971. Obama will meet the Japanese prime minister, Chinese president, Singapore's prime minister, and South Korean president. Obama will leave the U.S on Thursday. He will most likely go to Asia for nine days.
I think it is a good idea to travel to Asia. That way the U.S could improve its relationship with these countries. Also Economic and global changes would be an important issue to talk about.

Friday- Today I read about a pregnant woman who died from having the swine flu. The doctors said that about a week after she had her baby she was put into a comma and died. The baby seemed to be okay but not the mom. The father said that he never thought that the little cough and headache’s she would get were any thing serious turns out it was more than serious. Doctor’s said she was tested as soon as she came in to deliver the baby and she was positive the thing was it was too late to get the shot. The father was devastated about his loss and seemed to feel as if it was his fault for not taking his baby momma to the doctors first. The doctors were relieved that the baby did not come out with the virus. This shows that anyone is capable of dying if they have the swine flu
I think the dad should be relieved that his baby did not have the flu also because then he would of lost both. I do think it is really sad that the baby is now going to grow up with out a mom. This was a sad but yet quite interesting article.
I learned that even pregnant woman die from having the swine flu.

This morning I read an article about the world’s longest sushi roll. It was 330 feet long and it was made on the University of California Berkley. It was a California roll, with avocado, cucumber and imitation crab meat. The previous record was set in Hawaii in 2001, the roll was 300 feet long. Organizers lined up dozens of six foot long tables, which were staffed with student and campus employee volunteers. I think they should sell the roll in parts and maybe that will stimulate the ECONOMY in Berkley a little. I would like to know how they could afford to FINANCE such a project with all the budget cuts in schools in California.

(Friday-Jesus) in today’s paper I read that after weeks of political stalemate, Iraq approved a law yesterday to administer a critical national election in January a significant milestone for its fragile democracy and a step that will allow the rapids withdrawal of U.S. combat forces early next year. The election only the second national vote since the fall of Saddam Hussein will be crucial step towards popular sovereignty and stability in Iraq. In my opinion I think they should end war it is just messing up the economy here in the U.S. sending millions of money each day and taking that from tax payers I think that’s fair to no one. I hope they do bring back the soldiers back early of next year.

Today I read about a lot of people going to jail for child pornography. Viruses are the reason why so many people are going to jail for child pornography. Nasty photographs and videos can be deposited on computers by viruses. Pedophiles can exploit viruses-infected PC’s to view and store their stash without fear of getting caught. You might not know about the porn that is in your computer until police are knocking on you door. Many innocent men have been convicted for child pornography. They also have to spend a lot of money, even money they don’t have to prove that they are innocent. Possession of child pornography carries a sentence of up to five years in prison.
I think this a very bad situation. Pedophiles use viruses as their excuse so you really would not know who to believe. A lot of innocent people also are doing time for something they didn’t do.
I learned to not buy a PC ever. I rather get a MAC, they have less chances of getting viruses.

friday-A man classified as a sexually violent predator broke the rules of his release from a state hospital by taking a photo of a woman’s legs with a cell phone camera and being dishonest with his treatment providers, authorities said. Matthew Hedge, 46, was arrested last week at a trailer near Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility where he had been allowed to live under heavy supervision since April. To me this is very disturbing because I have a little sister and I wouldn’t like this guy close to her. Hopefully he gets sent to prison for the rest of his life. Because the first time he was locked up was for molesting a minor and that’s something that I hate.

In today’s news Germany will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. On the night the Berlin wall came down people were celebrating on top of the wall. The fall of the wall reunited the communist east side with the democratic west side into a democratic Germany. The fall of the wall improved the countries ECONOMY and its FINANCIAL problems. It was created in 1961 because many East Germans wanted to cross to West Germany for more freedom. To celebrate the anniversary of the collapsed wall Items were being given out for free items even if there INCOME cant afford it. The only reminder of the wall so far is the 100 miles long foam dominoes that will be tipped over the exact same time the wall was destroyed. The day will be celebrated with concerts, free items, and memorials of the people who died trying to reach for freedom.
I think this celebration is a good idea for Germany. I disagree in communism and think that Germany should be Democratic. The dominoes will be tipped over tonight the time the wall collapsed.
