In today’s news ten Americans were charged with kidnapping children. Ten U.S missionaries have been charged with trying to kidnap 33 children from Haiti. The Lawyer for nine of the ten missionaries is SEEKING to prove that they are innocent. The Lawyer only testified that the leader is the only one guilty and that the others can be set free. Many organizations are trying to save as many people from Haiti as possible since the Earthquake in January 12. Many parents gave away there children to the organizations because they thought it would be the RESOURCE for a better life. The Judge announced that the missionaries were trying to TRANSFER the children into the Dominican Republic without documents. Each person was charged with one count of Kidnapping which can send them from five to 15 years in Prison.
If the missionaries were trying to give the children a better home for them to live they shouldn’t be arrested. If they were trying to assault the children in anyway then they should be in jail. Also since all of them were involved, all of them should be arrested if they were using it for a bad purpose.

This morning I read about 66 pounds of cocaine that was seized at a Interstate 8 checkpoint. This interstate was in Pine Valley. Authorities' stopped a Chevrolet Malibu that was driven by a 38 year old Mexican. A drug dog discovered the drugs. The dog led agents to 26 tightly wrapped bundles of cocaine. The bundles were hidden in secret compartments under the floorboards of the driver and passenger seats. The drugs were valued to up to $644,000. The driver and the female passenger were both arrested. This incident marks the third large cocaine seizure at Border Patrol checkpoints in the past five days.
I think that this is a lot of drugs ! And like I was saying in my other blog, another Mexican is getting caught trying to smuggle drugs. When are people going to learn.
I think that smuggling drugs is becoming harder and harder.

In today’s news I read about a Houston mother who was arrested Sunday is accused of starving her 8 year old daughter to death inside her apartments. Halle Smith weighed 15 pounds when she died, and the only photos available of her taken at the time of her death are disturbing. Halle was limp and unresponsive when her mother brought her to a hospital emergency room in January 2009. Because Halle was a special-needs child who had to be hooked up to a feeding tube, the investigation took time, as did determining her cause of death. Prosecutors now believe Halle's mother, Almita Nicole Lockhart, 34, isolated her in an empty secluded apartment off Northborough and did not feed her. The medical examiner said her death was a homicide and said it was due to malnutrition and dehydration. Lockhart is the mother of nine other children. However, when CPS looked into her situation after Halle's death, they said they found none of the children, who are between the ages of 2 to 18, were living at home. Some of them hadn't been in school, CPS said. CPS said it is in the process of terminating Lockhart's parental rights. According to court documents, Lockhart was offered free nursing care for Halley 24-7, but she told them to stay away. Medical documents show when Halley was 2 she weighed 35 pounds, but that on her last visit to the doctor in 2006 she weighed just 27 pounds. That is the same year CPS visited her home. At the time of her death, the medical examiner said Halle had lost 40 percent of her body weight and it was clear the mother was "failing to properly nourish" the child.

In today’s paper, 66 pounds of cocaine was seized at I-8 checkpoint. Border Patrol agents seized the 66 pounds during a smuggling TRANSFER attempt at the Interstate 8 checkpoint in Pine Valley. RESOURCES say that agents made the discovery about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when they stopped a Chevrolet Malibu and had a dog sniffed the vehicle and SEEKED 26 tightly wrapped bundles of cocaine in secret compartments under floorboards of the driver and passenger seats. The drugs were valued at about $644,00. Both people in the car were arrested marking the third largest cocaine seizure at Border Patrol checkpoints.

Monday- This morning I read an article saying a principal of a school stole tens of thousands of dollars. The woman was said to be a really good principal and was very good with the kids. She is now serving ninety day sentencing and will now be serving a five year probation. The community was devastated about the incident. The lady was said to have took many school funds over and over for a long time. The principal is not yet been said of her job. Most likely this lady will never ever be seen inside of a school again. The lady is fifty nine years old and her name is Paulette Thompson. She was also sentenced to do a four hundred community service at a non-profit place.
I think that this lady was very wrong to do this and I think she deserved what she received. This is not common but it also happened to my middle school. There should be more trusted principals in schools now.
I learned that even principals are very grimy people even when trusted by the whole community.

Monday-Today I read about a murder case to get a new hearing. A judge has ordered a hearing to assess the claims of a Bonita man who is trying to overturn his murder conviction and life sentence in connection with the death of a girl in a road rage incident on a south bay freeway almost sic years ago. There is no date for the hearing but it has been set. In his order judge Walsh said this week he wanted to hear a testimony from witnesses including Oropeza’s former lawyer, Thomas Kontos. Who is serving a 21-month federal prison sentence for obstructing justice in an un-related case. Oropeza’s new lawyer, deputy Alternate Public Defender Mary Ellen Attridge, said Walsh’s decision was significant. It’s extremely rare to get an evidentiary hearing because the law really bends over backward in terms of deference to a jury’s verdict and a judge’s trial rulings she said.

Monday- In today's news I read a article about Ladanian Tomlinson. Front page read “I'm not coming back” a quote made by Tomlinson. Resource says LT expects the chargers to release him. He is tired of his career going nowhere LT is a Hall of Famer and has never been to a Super Bowl. LT seeks success and staying on the Chargers isn't going to help him reach his goal. He doesn't know what team he is going to transfer to yet, but expects better to come out of it. I think his decision to change was good, because he’s to talented. Staying on the sorry Charger will keep him in his ditch.

In today’s news I read about a heavy flooding in central Mexico in the past week has killed at least 33 people and left thousands homeless. Schools remained closed in five cities in Mexico's Michoacán state, where the flooding has killed at least 22 people and left more than 3,500 residents homeless. Another 83 people still were missing Monday in Michoacán, a state in western coastal Mexico that has been beset by drug violence in the past few years. A mudslide Saturday killed at least 11 people near the small town of Temascaltepec, in neighboring Mexico state. Uncharacteristic heavy rain throughout Mexico also has led to flooding in the nation's capital, Mexico City. Up to 35,000 people nationwide could have been affected. Mexico state is bordered on the west by Michoacán and adjoins Mexico City on three sides north, east and west. Calderon and other Mexican officials have vowed to help displaced families, including offering them food, medicine, shelter and cash allowances to buy new furniture.

In today’s news Joe Jackson believes that Dr Murray was involved in the murder of Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson was the Father of Michael Jackson , believed that Dr Conrad Murray murdered Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson appeared Yesterday on the Larry King Live show after being TRANSFERRED there from the court room. Murray Pleaded not guilty to a charge of murder, the Las Angeles Judge set bail at $75,000. The Father testified that “ I wanted to SEEK justice in this case, and that would be if the doctor was guilty for murder”. Murray was with Michael Jackson a couple days before his death on June 25 2009. The Family also testified that Michael was scared about going to his concerts, because he believed that he was going to die and not finish his concerts. The Judge did not suspended Murray’s license, but ordered him to never use the RESOURCE of Anesthesia on his patients again.
I don’t think the doctor should be guilty, because Michael Jackson wanted the Anesthesia. Also Michael Jackson is being treated like Jesus. But if the doctor purposely killed him then he should be found guilty.

Tuesday- Today I read about a girl from Cambodia and she got sold to someone for money in times of poverty. Aaron Cohen first met Jonty Thern and her older sister, Channy, in 2005 while singing in a karaoke bar in Battambang, Cambodia. He has come back to see them every year since. The California native often schedules his trips for November, the month when Cambodians celebrate the Bonn Om Teuk water festival, marking the end of the rainy season. "The whole country comes together for boat races. Hundreds of thousands of people descend on the waterfront and it's filled with colors and flags,You know my thoughts about the water festival always include Jonty, because she and her sister would get a day pass during the festival." There was a smile on his face when he started the sentence, but by the time he had finished, it was gone. "In Cambodia the number of victims is increasing and the number of prosecutions has gone down from the previous year. The report shows that despite the overall effort, the government has not shown enough progress in convicting and punishing human trafficking offenders or protecting trafficking victims."

Tuesday- today I read a story about how the future in luxury will become possible. This is said to be possible by having floating hotels in London, France. These floating hotels are said to only have about ten apartments to rent. This is also going to be helped by hydrogen gas that will float to its destination. The luxurious floating pent house, apartment, and hotel will take about 37 hours to get from France to New York. It was also said that it will only hold about 100 guests. This type of airship is said to be like taking a cruise except it is taken by air. There is a design that has been thought of but there is not yet any true ship that will be built soon. This is a future idea that will someday be true.
This was a great story because it talked about the idea of future stuff. I liked the idea of a floating hotel but I know it will be very expensive. This is an idea that only the rich would be able to enjoy until it gets really old.
I learned that the future is now and more technology is on its way.

In today’s news, a Florida woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a lottery millionaire and whose body was found buried under recently added concrete at a home. Dorice Donegan Moore was arrested on charges of accessory after the SEEKING fact regarding a first-degree murder in the death of Abraham Shakespeare. RESOURCE say Moore befriended Shakespeare after he won a $31 million Florida lottery prize in 2006. Moore proclaimed her in a news conference outside her home. She said was trying to help Shakespeare write a book about the challenges of winning millions and that she was helping him TRANSFER and manage the money. Shakespeare was killed on April 6 or April 7, and Moore has admitted trying to convince Shakespeare's family members that he was still alive. Today I read about an Iraq veteran who was charged on assault on suspicion of abusing his daughter. They are suspicious oh him placing his daughters head in water, drowning her so she can recite her ABC’s. Sgt. Joshua Tabor was arrested recently for complaints about him walking around his neighborhood drunk. Joshua’s girlfriend was telling police that Joshua abused his daughter. The four year old "severe bruising on her entire back," "scratch marks on her back made in a downward motion" and "bruising on both of her arms, her legs and her buttocks," the police report said. Joshua denied that he would drown his daughter. He said he would only try to scare her, because she is afraid of water.
I think that even if he was trying to scare her daughter that is wrong. She is only four, that is not how a dad should be treating his daughter. I think it is sad fir this little girl, because if her dad gets arrested she will know why when she is older.
I learned that people who do good things for the U.S.A does not mean they are good people.

The weather association called the weather historic. Resources say that in Philadelphia the snow reached 25 inches, catching up to the 1996 record of 30 inches. Planes being grounded made it hard for people to transfer states. People coming outside to seek a bright day were in for a rude awakening . With this extremely cold weather, people felt like they were basically camping.

In today’s news I read about Jose Reyes Ferriz, the mayor of violence-plagued Ciudad Juarez, he said that the drug cartel war gripping his city is rooted in social decomposition such as broken homes. The president of Mexico is expected to make a major announcement on social intervention in response to the drug violence, which in 2010 has killed close to 1,000 people throughout the country. President Felipe Calderon is expected to be in the city on the U.S. border across from El Paso, Texas, on Thursday. He joins experts in saying it is a social decomposition of a new generation of cartel members that is causing such brutal killings. Broken homes, sometimes caused by drug abuse, leave children and teens vulnerable to a gang's plea for membership. The young recruits are more ruthless than ever. On January 31, 15 people -- most of them teenage students who had nothing to do with the cartels -- were massacred at a house party in southern Juarez. Witnesses described some of the hit men who carried out the killings as being about the same age as the victims.

Wednesday-In the central plaza, there was once an orgy of music, street dancing and revelry unmatched by any other nation in the Americas, Haitians say.
But where there was joy now sits a vast settlement of people left without loved ones, without homes, without life's belongings.
Haitians have celebrated Carnival through dictatorships, military coups and bloodshed. Popular belief was that if a government failed to deliver on Carnival, Haiti's equivalent of Mardi Gras, it was sure to fall, said Marie Laurence Lassegue, Haiti's minister of culture and information.
But this year, the three-day festival has been canceled, another indication of the enormity of the earthquake's devastation.
Musicians fell silent, seamstresses stopped sewing costumes and ghostly skeletons of unfinished floats lay scattered on the outskirts of Port-au-Prince. A month after the devastating January 12 earthquake, the Champs de Mars plaza is home to the capital's displaced, where thousands of people have eked out a tiny space in which to survive.
Full coverage of the earthquake's aftermath
"This is the first time Carnival is not happening," said Roberto Martino, lead singer of popular Kompa band T-Vice. I don't even think about music anymore.
Less than a week ahead of Carnival's start on Sunday, revelry is replaced with mourning. The nation's foremost concert producer, Charles Jubert, died. So did members of four bands who were practicing inside a studio that collapsed. Other musicians lost legs, arms and hands. They will not be able to play again.
I don't think we have time to think of Carnival, Lassegue said. Maybe when we are finished crying.
Carnival's three days of deliverance and celebration has tremendous importance in the lives of Haitians, Lassegue said. "But this year? I don't even remember when it is."
Instead, the displaced are planning days of prayer.
"We're living in a city that's like a cemetery," said Ronide Baduel, a nurse who lost her home and all her belongings in the quake. Her brother died and suddenly, she found herself far from her middle-class existence, relegated to a makeshift tent and burlap bags she uses for pillows at night.

Wednesday- today i read about a high speed chase. The chase was by a 26 year old man who was arrested after the the chase. The man was accused of throwing firebombs at the police during the chase. He threw them at a a school, a couple police stations, and at a house. The chase started in Del Mar heights and seems to have ended in Temecula. This means the chase went on for about an hour and a half. The man was said to be wanted for a few days and was finally brought down in this chase with tire spikes. The man was booked in jail and will be charged with a few felonies of terrorism.
This was an interesting story and i think that the man was really smart. He went from city to city throwing bombs at police departments. The man should only be in jail for a few years because he didn't do much damage.
I learned that it is smart to do a crime in one city and move on to another fast.

Police say they believe Duron walked into a restroom at Pacific Elementary School last week and offered two boys several dollars to urinate in a cup. The boys refused. The man was trying to get the urine to pass a drug test. I think this guy is an idiot. If you are going to be getting urine from someone why don’t you just get it from someone in your family I think that would a better RESOURCE.

These two are members of the kingspins “chapo” and “mayo” are their names. These men worked for the drug cartels that transported their drugs into the U.S. Illegally.

Thursday - In today's news, I read a article about curfew. The San Diego curfew laws limit teens from being outside at a curtain time. Resources say that the curfew laws are unconstitutional. Teens that seek parties, or just late night roaming will be arrested. Some people think this is wrong because even if you got permission from a parent, you will still be arrested. The court transferred information over of the same thing going on in 1997. The rights of the teens are being violated, so there for as of now there’s no curfew. I think this is better because the police are unconstitutional. They arrest you for walking to the store right when it hit 10:00.

This morning I read about a man who killed his ex boyfriend and then killed himself. Police said boyfriend Bob Agnew who was 41 shot his ex boyfriend Eric Schulthise who was 40. The ex couple was found in an apartment in a City Heights condominium. A lot of people what worked with Eric said he was a very happy guy, and did not mention Bob. He kept his relationships to himself. Friends of Bob said he was a nice guy,, but was very mad about the breakup between him and Eric. Police finally showed up after a lot of people had to call them. When they arrived they saw to bodies lying on the floor of the living room.
I think that this is very sad. If Bob wanted to kill himself he should of done it, but left his ex Eric alone. Just because you want to die does not mean you have to kill and end some one else’s life. I think that Bob had some mental issues, if the ending of the relationship made him want to kill himself. But then I feel bad for Bob because he obviously really care about his ex.
I learned that you need to really get to know the person in which you are going to be serious with and make sure they are ok and stable for a relationship.

In today’s news I read about the Mexican federals captured two brutal drugs cartel members for the second time in this month. One of the captures was Teo’s brother Manuel “El Chiquillin "Garcia Simental, and the other one that was caught was Raydel “El Muletas” Lopez Uriarte. They were both identified as members of the criminal organizations led by Joaquin “Chapo” Guzman and Ismael “Mayo” Zambada. They were detain in La Paz capital Baja California Sur, the same place were Teodoro Garcia was arrested January 12. Raydel’s followers wore uniforms that carried the insignia FEM, Spanish initials for “Muletas Special Forces”. Under Teodoro Garcia, Lopez had been in charge of recruiting, the search for the institutional support and coordination of hiring assassins. Teodoro Garcia and his followers were once loyal to the Arellano Felix organization, which for like years controlled drug trafficking in the region. Teodoro Garcia and Raydel Lopez were among 10 suspects pictured in a poster released last year by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration that describes a new generation of drug trafficking in the region.

Witnesses saw the woman disappear over the cliff while running after her black dog Sunday evening. Her body was recovered from a small rocky beach area. The dog was halfway down the cliff and it was rescued and probably TRANSFERRED to an animal hospital. I think if your dog is going to run down a cliff, shouldn’t chase after it. She should have used the fire department as a RESOURCE to rescue the dog, but instead now she's dead. I think its sad because you could always just get a new dog.

A “growl” sound was heard after midnight and lasted 20 seconds and residents called the city’s 911 life after they heard it. Thursday- This morning i read about another drug trafficker that got caught. The streets in Mexico are being cleaned up but the more the government thinks there are less dangers new murdered suspects come up. The streets really will never be cleared up. The man is in custody and will be looked into for some answers.
This is a good article but the thing is someone is going to die. The government should just give up and join them to be against the U.S. This is a better idea than to try to beat them.

His brother was not on his side he stated that a little girl that had gone missing when the suspect started to change his appearance. The man seems to never be getting out and is trying to make the court people confused.
I think the man is pretty smart to even try this. There are a few people who have achieved the goal of confusing the court room. The man was pretty disgusting for raping a little girl and killing her.
I learned that if I ever get locked up for a long time I would try and do the same as he did.

When she was 11 in 1991 Jaycee was kidnapped from the front of her house and TRANSFERRED to the Garrido’s house. The prosecutors are trying to keep the location of Dugard from the Garrido’s and there Lawyers. The Philip Garrido was trying to increase the RESOURCE of his Sexual pleasure by Raping Dugard, which made her have two daughters at age 15 and 18. the Garrido’s have both pleaded not guilty to kidnapping and sexual offense charges and even want to apologize in person the Dugard and her daughters. According to the court papers Philip Garrido was also SEEKING to sexually assault Dugard’s daughters Angel and Stardust at age. Dugard commented that even though they gave her stuff and tried to act as her parents, she still felt like a slave inside.
I think its sad that she was kidnapped and rapped. I think the Garrido’s are guilty and should face many years in prison. They should feel the same pain that Dugard felt when she was held captive.

In today’s news I read about a court sentenced former Uruguayan President Juan Maria Bordaberry to 30 years in prison on Wednesday for the coup that consolidated his power in 1973 and for human rights violations. Judge Mariana Mota convicted Bordaberry of violating the constitution, nine counts of forced disappearance and two counts of political homicide. Bordaberry, 81, had already been under house arrest since 2007 for the killings of two opposition legislators in 1976. Bordaberry assumed office in 1972 following an election that has since been questioned. In 1973, he backed a military coup that kept him in power, and dissolved congress and suspended the country's constitution. The military pushed him out in favor of another leader in 1976.
