Monday- Today I read about a couple different subjects that caught my eye. The first one got me mad and pissed me off it was of a man that pleaded not guilty to his charges. He is a sexual predator and he has that look in his eye I know this man is capable of doing his sexual deed’s to young one’s if it was me I’d kill him myself no man deserves to live after touching a little kid. I also read about a woman that was jogging in Chula Vista and she was a 22 yr old woman and she got beat and she did her best to reach for help so she dialed 911 and made it the suspects ran and they still have not been found. I think that a man that hits a woman is not a man something is wrong with him to even raise his hand to a female because he came from one how can he mistreat a lady? I think the more time passes by men get dumber and dumber.

In today’s paper I read an article about a rapist. A man accused of raping and murdering a local girl was found not guilty. The Seventeen year old girl was jogging as she usually does, and never came home that day. From the data and evidence they got, they found out that the man lured the girl with a puppy. After searching the area in the polices range, they found nothing. Until late Tuesday when they found the girls body raped, murdered and buried. They compared this murder to the Murder of a 7 year old girl named Kanka. People feel as if there is no justice being served. If they keep letting these people out, more innocent people will be found dead. I think he should be doing two life sentences in Pelican Bay.

Monday- today I read the other half of a an article in which I have already wrote about. The article was about a drunk driver driving the wrong way on the freeway. The man was then being pursued by police officer Ken Collier and a companion. The officers then crashed and rolled down the side of a bridge officer Collier died at the incident but the other lived. The drunk driver is in custody and looking in on about eleven years in prison for vehicular manslaughter. The court although has not came to a conclusion and the suspect is still being held in custody. There are a few more counts that the court is trying to give the man but is still not over. The court hearing will stand and more info will soon be given for this case.
This is a really sad case because the suspect is not the one who made the officer crash and he is being charged with that. This is all B.S. and the court should not charge the man with any murders. I think the court should give the suspect charges for driving under the influence only.
I learned that when a white man dies there has to be someone the court can charge for it.

In today’s news I read about a man who was arrested and another one who was being sough after a teenager that was stabbed on Tuesday in the afternoon. Several juveniles were approached at a RANGE from Broadway and E Street about 4 p.m. by a group of attackers who accused the boys of assaulting a friend. Two men drove up in a silver car and at least the DATA shows that one had a crowbar or a tire iron toward the victim. A 17 year old boy was stabbed in the upper back when they were trying to flee. It wasn't a life threatened but it was painful. An 18 year old was identified as the one who waved the tire iron he was arrested on a suspicious of assault with a deadly weapon. The pigs are still looking for the victims who did the stabbings to some chankleros. The other one is being described as a Latino about 30 years old about 5 feet 9 inches tall with long black hair.

This morning I read a story about a woman who was attacked last week while jogging in a Chula Vista park. Police are still looking for the suspects. The woman was jogging at about 8pm at a park in J street near Interstate 805 when she was hit from behind and knocked to the ground. Then she was punched and kicked in the head and stomach for about a minute before they left. They didn’t try to rob her, she was able to call for help with her cell phone. She was taken to the hospital and treated for her injuries. Officers searched the RANGE of the park using a helicopter but they did not find anyone. Police are working on getting a detailed description of the attackers. I learned that you really should be with someone else when you are out jogging in the dark. I think that you are less likely to get attacked if you have someone else with you COMPARED to if you are alone. I think this sucks too because that was a really chill park and now the cops are probably going to always be there.

Today I read an article about a man who killed a police officer. The mans name was Jose Pedro Lopez Jasso of Oceanside. Jose believed he was on the Interstate 5 when he was pulled over but was on state Route 52. He pleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter. Lopez could face a maximum of 11 years in prison for the crime if convicted of all counts. Lopez was also intoxicated because he had been drinking at a bar in north Oceanside. Services for deputy Ken Collier will be from 5 to 9 P.M at Greenwood Memorial Park.

The23 year old woman was jogging at the park on J street near the 805 Interstate. She was hit on the head from behind, they punched her and kicked her in the head. The mean then left, they men did not rob her. The lady was then taken to the hospital, and is expected to survive. Police looked for the men with helicopters, and did not find anything.
I think that this is weird. Why would they beat her up, for no reason. I thin they were probably trying to rob her, but found that she had nothing.

In today's news I read about this two men wearing masks and gloves broke into the rear of an Italian restaurant early yesterday and stole an ATM machine. The robber open a door on La Bella Pizza restaurant on Third Ave near G street like around 5:30 a.m. and took the ATM machine form the restaurant the robbers carried parts of the machine to their black truck and took off hahhaha. The truck had out of state plates looking like the ones from Baja Califa plates and a chrome tool box in the bed section of the truck and a large white sticker on the drivers side. Also a red sticker in the center of the window.

Tuesday- Today I read about the public safety section and page B2. This section caught my eye because it had 3 subjects that I read about and caught my eye. The first one was of a San Diego man that was tied up and the intruders stole his cash his TV and other items that were not noted in the text. The next subject I read about was of a man simulating a gun to rob the Chevron gas station his tactics were not successful but he did get away. This man has not been caught yet but he is in his 50-60 yrs of age and weighs from 180-200 lbs. and the last subject that I read about was about these masked men that stole an ATM and were successful. They stole it from a Italian Restaurant by third avenue and g street. They haven't been caught yet but they do have video cameras on it and will be looking for more clue to help solve this case.

This morning I read about an 84 year old woman who was attacked while living at her retirement home. The 84 year old woman went by the name of Gladys Conrad. She was not only attacked, but she was raped and murdered. This incident occurred in 2001. Alejandro Avalos who is 32 is barley facing charges, nine years later. He is pleading not guilty. Alejandro faces a lot of charges like murder during a rape, sodomy, and residential burglary which could make him eligible for the death penalty if he is convicted.
I think that this is such an odd story. This guy Alejandro is disgusting, if this all occurred 9 years ago, he was about 22 years old, and he raped an 84 year old woman. Its not like he did not want to rape an old woman, he went to a retirement home, so he knew what he was getting himself into.

Today I read about a woman who was brutally raped then strangled to death. The woman's name was Gladys Conrad. She was 84 years old and lived in a retirement home in Carlsbad. The man who took her life is named Alejandro Avalos Fernandez. For his crimes under certain circumstances leaves Fernandez eligible for the death penalty. He was arrested in Jan. 09. Investigators had to work together in order to extradite the prisoner from Mexico. Mexico had complications because they don’t agree with capital punishment. Fernandez also has other charges pending for torture, assault and attempted rape. DNA later proved he was involved in an unsolved case where a 64 year old woman nurse was raped.

This morning I read about a passenger ferry getting stuck in some ice for hours in the Baltic Sea off Sweden’s east coast. Ice breakers helped release the ferry Amorella that had nearly 1,000 people on board. Dozens of other ships remained stuck and awaiting assistance. Winds with speeds between 32 and 63 mph built up large ice masses RANGING along the Swedish coast line. I think it was probably really cold COMPARED to other places. It didn’t say that anyone died, but probably before they rescue all the other ship, I think someone will probably die from being so cold. I think a lot of ships probably get stuck in the ice around there. They should have showed the data from that.

Tuesday- Today I read about a man who shot the manager of his apartment. Well this story stated that the suspect who is in a wheel chair had gone to his apartments main office and asked to speak with the manager. As the manager came out to speak with the handicapped man he shot a single bullet and then fled the scene. This was said to have happened at 8:15 am. The suspect is in custody and the story is still under investigation. Police asked the managers assistants if these two had any grudge against each other but no information was found. The shot fired was said to not have hit the tenant but hit a wall. The suspect was surrounded later on by the police at his apartment and surrendered without any complications.
This was a sad story because there was a handicap who went to jail. I’m just playing that’s what he gets he was probably on drugs or something. I think that he should get the same amount of time as an ordinary person will because then its discrimination.
I learned that even handicap people are crazy and will do anything that they want.

In today’s news, A man simulated a handgun robbed a gas station in San Carlos Wednesday night. The man demanded cash from the clerk at the Chevron gas station on Jackson Drive. He then ran toward Patrick Henry High School and the robber covered his face with a white. DATA shows that he was described black, in his late 50’s, 6-4, and within the RANGE of 180-200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap backward COMPARED to someone wearing it forward, a short-sleeve white shirt, red boxer shorts and blue jeans.

Wednesday- Today I read about  A decade-old report spelled out a pessimistic view of convicted sex offender John Gardner's future. The Probation Officer's Report was just released by the courts and shows the psychiatrist in the case had concerns that Gardner would offend again. The report spells out that Gardner said he only plead guilty to the charges of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl because the attorneys in the case said he would "get reamed" if the case went to trial. The Psychiatrist who evaluated Gardner says Gardner was not a candidate for treatment because he never took responsibility for the crime and expressed no remorse."I rarely see this many red flags in a probation report. I rarely see this many red flags in a person," since Gerald Blank a criminal defense attorney with more than three decades of experience.According to the report, the Psychiatrist tells the officer that Gardner does not suffer from a Psychotic Disorder, but he is simply a bad guy.  He goes on to say that Gardner's arrest for trespassing at a high school was further disturbing.

In today's news I read about two U.S. Border Patrol agents suffered minor injuries yesterday after they were sideswiped by a car while walking on state Route 94. The driver told her father that she was driving east bound on state Route 94 near Harris Ranch Road about 7:20 p.m. when she heard a bang that sounded like a gunshot. She didn’t realize she had hit any one until the investigators told her when they got at there house. The driver of the car that struck the agents has had her license for less than 30 days. There going to investigate what really happen.

This morning I read about Amber Dubois, the girl that went missing and never was found. Well the good new is that she was found, but the bad news was that she was not found alive. Amber was missing for about 13 months. Police announced they found human skeletal remains. They also said that they were identified as Amber Dubois, they figured this out through her dental records. Her remains were found west of Pala Temecula Road. Another little girls remains were found in the same area a while back.
I think that this is very weird. Chelsea was just found, and then Amber, who has been missing for a long time. I also feel bad for her parents, they must be very sad, since there is no hope that she might be alive.

Wednesday- Today I saw a story on a gang related killing. The whole thing was caught on video by the city but no arrests have happened ever since. A big thing on this story is that a few of the victims friends saw the ones who killed him and yet no ones wants to speak. The victims was said to have been standing outside on his porch when a car drove by and shot him on the head. Police have been looking for the suspect for about a year and yet there is still no suspect. The victims father was in shock at the time because he was looking outside the window and saw his son get shot. The father was really devastated as he held his son in his arms. There is no one who knows who actually did it but the victims friends but none want to speak up for they will die too.
This was a sad story but that’s what happens when someone is gang related. There should be someone who actually speaks up but they are too scared to do it. The police should keep looking for their suspect and not stop until he is found.
I learned that gangs really don’t lead you any where but to a grave earlier than you should.

In today’s news, the man who authorities say shot and wounded two police officers outside of the Pentagon before he was fatally shot had a history of mental health problems and a penchant for spouting anti-government conspiracy theories. He suffered from bipolar disorder and had been committed to mental institutions at a RANGE of three to five times. His mother found DATA of a proof of purchase of $600 at a shooting range in the Sacramento area. FBI states that he was very well dressed in a suit and showed no distress ,COMPARED to dressing casually, approached a screening area to enter Pentagon grounds and walked directly to the officers and engages.

Thursday- Today I read about Federal authorities have charged a trendy Santa Monica sushi restaurant with serving whale meat an investigation that was spurred by the team behind the Oscar-winning documentary, The Cove. Prosecutors charged Typhoon Restaurant Inc. The parent company of The Hump, and one of its chefs Kiyoshiro Yamamoto, 45 with the illegal sale of a marine mammal product for an unauthorized purpose. While it is considered a delicacy in Japan and some other countries, meat from whale an endangered species is illegal to consume in the United States. The misdemeanor charge carries a federal prison sentence of up to a year and a fine of up to $200,000 for the company. Lawyers for Typhoon could not be reached for comment. But the restaurant told the Los Angeles Times it accepts responsibility and will pay a fine. I also read about a bus that crashed Friday on an Arizona interstate south of Phoenix, killing six passengers. This is a tragic accident and I wish luck to the families of these members.

This morning I read about how 3 teenagers beat up a an 18 year old football player from Grossmont College. The 3 boys, a 16 year old, a 17 year old and a 19 year old were all arrested at their homes in El Cajon and Santee. The 3 boys knocked Mike Bajiko on the ground and hit him several time with a baseball bat on his head and face. The fight was over a girls phone, and the boys agreed to fight. Mike was about 6’9 and weighed 290 pounds. He suffered multiple head wounds and remains in critical condition. The three boys face charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
I think that it was unfair how 3 boys ganged up on one. I also think that it is unfair how he got hit with a baseball bat over and over. Those boys had an advantage with the baseball bat. I also think it sucks that those boys re going to be facing those charges, but I guess they thought just because they were teenagers they wouldn’t be getting into any trouble.

Thursday- today I read an article on children safety. The reason this story was brought up was that a child was hit by his own grandfather with the rear bumper of his vehicle. The story read that the child was inside the locked home while the grandpa was ready to leave in his vehicle. The child was said to have learned how to unlock the door and actually did it. He then ran outside and ran behind the vehicle the grandpa was in. The grandpa said he never saw him and just accelerated. The boy is only suffering minor bruises but the parents were really shocked. The family quoted that this should be a lesson for everyone with little ones in their homes. They said to always to look out behind your vehicle twice before backing up.
This was a sad story but the kid was okay so its still good. This should be a way of letting everyone know to check twice before backing up. The article really spoke out to me and showed me it can be dangerous having a little one running around your home.
I learned that little kids are crazy smart with complicated things but still need a lot to learn.

This morning I read a story about a Piedmont doctor caught in a televised sex sting has been sentenced to two months in jail. A judge Wednesday also ordered the man, 52-year-old Maurice Wolin, to register as a sex offender and serve three years probation. He was among more than two dozen men arrested by Petaluma police during the 2006 sting aired on NBC's "Dateline" segment, "To Catch a Predator." Authorities say the oncologist went to a Petaluma house to meet a 13-year-old girl after having a sexually explicit online chat with her. Wolin fought the case for years before pleading no contest in December to a felony charge of attempting a lewd act with a child under the age of 14 as part of a deal with prosecutors. I think that this guy should have gotten a harsher sentence COMPARED to what he received. He shouldn’t even be allowed to be a doctor anymore. People who try to creep on kids and who do creep on kids should be locked up forever, that’s disgusting and they will never change.

In today's news I read about investigators are trying to investigate what happen after a death of two people after a stabbing and car chase in Lebanon. Deputies said that Troy Wolverton led police on a high speed chase that ended on northbound Interstate 75 at mile marker 38. The chase started at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. police said that the incident started when Wolverton, 28 and Shena Lee Nolan, 32, got into a fight at a Georgetown Drive home. Investigators said Wolverton was Nolan's ex-boyfriend. Officers said Wolverton repeatedly stabbed Nolan, killing her. Nolan was found on the back patio of her home. Investigators said one of Nolan's two sons was also at home at the time, and was injured in the fight. Medics said he was not stabbed and was taken to a hospital. Police said both sons are together at the hospital. The boys are between the ages of 7 and 10. Deputies said Wolverton had suffered several severe cuts when they got to the car. He later died at a Dayton hospital. I think he should het sentence to 25 to life for doing this to his own wife and in front of there kids. Its just not right what they did.

Thursday I read about Andrea Boland the Maine state representative is trying to make manufacturers put a warning label on every cell phone sold in the state saying this device emits electromagnetic radiation, exposure to which may cause brain cancer. Her warning will also say Users, especially children and pregnant women, should keep this device away from the head and body. There is 270 million Americans and 4 billion around the world using cell phones and more and more signing up cancer will be a big problem. The wireless industry contends that RF radiation lacks the strength to alter molecules in the human body. Federal Communications Commission maximum for cell-phone-signal exposure is intended to prevent RF radiation from heating tissue to the point that cells are damaged. Cell-phone RF radiation's effect on the body, at least at this time, appears to be insufficient to produce genetic damage typically associated with developing cancer.

Thursday - In today's paper I read an article about a black student suing his team. Trumaine Johnson played a key role for the Toreros Basketball team in the 2007-08 season data. He has now quit the team and Sued two members of the USD staff. Johnson has sued his Head Coach for unfairly suspending him. The coach accused him of kicking a white students car, and the footprint didn’t match. Then he sued the USD security for stopping him, once in range tackling him to the ground and pepper spraying him. He racial profiled Johnson and said he looked like the suspect because he was black. All of these acts are being appointed in court. The lawsuit seeks class-action status on behalf of all blacks. I think that everything that they did was because he was black. Also its unfair on the black people behalf's.

The California Highway Patrol helped the bring the car to safely stop. DATA shows the driver was traveling east on interstate 8 outside of the San Diego area when he tried to speed up to pass another car but his accelerator was stuck and was speeding up. He called 911 and Highway Patrol instructed him to apple the brakes and the emergency brake at the same time and was able to stop safely. Amy claims they were having sex from March till September. If convicted she could face up to 7 years if no further charges arise. The police made a search warrant to investigate further at Amy’s house. They are looking to see if there are any more victims she might have preyed upon but there is very little information.

Friday- Today I read about In one chair sits a rural retiree, his financial security shot in the slump, a humble Southerner who's never thought much about politics. In another seat is a born Northerner, an inner-city native, a relative of a civil rights giant. And nearby, circling a table, are an economist, an artist, a onetime John McCain supporter and a long-haired guy who's rich in Woodstock memories. Meet these members of the Coffee Party Movement, an organically grown, freshly brewed push that's marking its official kickoff Saturday. Across the country, even around the globe, they and other Americans in at least several hundred communities are expected to gather in coffeehouses to raise their mugs of java to something new. They're professionals, musicians and housewives. They're frustrated liberal activists, disheartened conservatives and political newborns. They're young and old, rich and poor, black, white and all shades of other.

Friday- Today I read about a 23 year old man for suspicion of murder. The police stated they arrested this man for unrelated charges as the man never gave them his name. They then figured out that this man was wanted and was on a bulletin at the police department. They said that they received a call from a relative saying that the man was having mental issues a few days before. As the police showed up they decided to not take him for they had no reason to. They then found his mother murdered in her home in a blood bath and he was the only suspect they had. The man is in custody as investigators are looking into this story. The man was first in custody for suspicion of trespassing.
This article was sad because the only lead was the ladies son. I do think the son is crazy and it was the cops fault that she died. They should of taken him into custody the day she called them.
I learned that there are really crazy people out there that are willing to kill their own mom.

Before this incident way back in 2000 he was charged with molesting a 19 year old girl. The department of corrections and Rehabilitation burned and shredded the data of his past. With the sex offender now where in range it costed them more lives taken. Governor Schwarzenegger ordered an immediate halt to the shredding of parole files for sex offenders. The situation compared to the similar cases but never saw justice. I think our governor did the right thing because life are on the line. That’s really stupid to throw away that type of information.

Some one went to her house by Costalota Road near Old Castle Road like about 1 p.m. and discovered the body and called 911. The deputies determined the woman inside the house had obvious signs of “ foul play”. Deputies left and called for homicide detectives who are now waiting for a search warrant before entering the home. The isolated property sits on top of a ridge overlooking the castle Creek Country Club. Detectives were interviewing relatives and acquaintances to create a timeline of the unidentified woman's last hours to survive.

This morning I read about the “Long Jaw Bandit”. A man who was named the Law Jaw Bandit by authorities pleaded guilty to robbing about 3 dozen stores in a 4 month period last year. The bandits real name is Roger Bruce Jones, he entered the pleas Monday. He pleaded guilty to all 34 charges. He also got no plea agreements or sentencing considerations what's so ever. The bandit faces a maximum of 39 years in prison when he is sentenced in May 27. The bandit robbed stores in San Diego, National City, La Mesa, and El Cajon between August and December. The stores targeted were Staples, Radio Shack and Rite Aid Stores. He was arrested crossing the San Ysidro border the day after Christmas.
I think this guy is very smart if he is barely getting caught, and smart for robbing all these stores. That also sucks that he has such a distinctive jaw, that is one of the main reasons he got caught.

I read more about John Albert Gardner III, the man who killed Chelsea King. The article talks a lot about the suspects history. It describes his situation in 2000 when he was facing charges for molesting a 13 year old girl. He is also being investigated for the killing of Amber Debois. Regarding the condition of John Albert Gardner III they say he does not have a mental disorder he’s just a man that has a problem preying on teenage girls. In the past John Albert Gardner III used to take medication for attention disorder but nothing major. Politian's are working together to help create tougher laws for sexual predators. Those laws would penalize offenders more and quicker than before. Now politian’s want sexual offender’s to have only one strike for crimes of that nature.
