Monday- Today I read about a couple subjects that caught my attention one was of a man that got incarcerated because he was punishing his 10 month old puppy he choked the puppy and pinned him to the ground. He might not survive the attack and will die. I hope he’s strong enough to survive though. And I also hope that this man gets a lot of time for doing this to a little puppy. I also read about a man being hit by a passing car and what I have to say about this one is look both ways before crossing and make sure you keep your eyes open. I also read about a woman pleading guilty in a fatal stabbing. This man was accused of stabbing his neighbor last year and he pleaded guilty yesterday to a first degree murder.
In today's paper i Read an article about the UCSD racism. The school thought that the students were over the whole "Compton cookout" thing. During a organized teach in about the issue. Hundreds of students and supports walked out. Black student still want to obtain justice in the school. They feel as if the school isn't trying to do anything about the problem. The tension between student continue to rise, as rallies and walk out go on. The students and supporters hope to distribute improvement in the schools racism issues. I agree with the black students the school is just acting like its not a big deal. they don't care, the rallies and walk outs will eventually get them somewhere.
monday :(
This morning I read about the death of someone who worked at Sea World. The Sea World this all took place in was in Orlando Florida. A killer whale dragged and thrashed a trainer. The park was closed as soon as possible. This killer whale goes by the name of Tilikum. Tilikum has killed other trainers before. A lot of questions are being asked, about if wild animals should be kept in captivity. Killer Whales do play rough, and are kind of dangerous. This is not the first time incidents like this have happened before. The trainer was killed during a show, she was petting the whale and got pulled in the water. The trainer eventually drowned.
I think that this is an interesting story. I thought Killer whales were sweet and nothing close to killing people. I just think it is weird how the animal reacted like that out of now where. I do not think animals should be kept in captivity, maybe just to look at them, but not for trainers to play with them. If the Killer whale acted like that out of now where, it can happen at any time again, completely unexpected.
Monday- Today I read about a man accused of choking a puppy. The man was put behind bars after he was questioned of the condition the puppy was in. The puppy a chocolate Labrador could not walk, had red saliva, had trouble breathing and a few other conditions. A man brought the puppy into the vet were they called animal control. The animal control agency questioned another man in which admitted to choking the puppy for a while. The man said he did it because the puppy bit his girlfriend in the nose and bothered him while on the phone. The man was put behind bars where an outstanding domestic violence warrant awaited him from a while ago. He is being charged on a count of animal cruelty and a domestic violence call.
This story made me mad for the reason that someone would do that to my dog. I think the animal control agency did good on this and I hope that the man stays behind bars for a long time. The puppy was said to probably not make it and it makes me more sadder.
I learned that people who hit animals are some lame ass people who are scared of others.
Monday-
In today’s news, two residents were inside a burning home were able to escape before the house was destroyed. The fire broke out around 1:00 a.m. near Gracia Paseo. Investigators say the DISTRIBUTED fire caused $350,000 in damaged and was started by old electrical wiring in the ceiling. Terri Talmage says she was getting out of the shower when she heard noises coming from her roommate's bedroom and was able to OBTAIN her purse on her way out. Firefighters were able to keep the flamed from spreading to nearby homes and the fire stopped at 11:27 a.m. The Red Cross is assisting VARIED people displaced by the fire. They were also were caring for 18 cats that lived in the garage and they don’t know what had happened to them.
Monday
In today’s news I read about a Point Loma man who be threatened his wife for two years. He would be telling her that he could make her disappear with one phone call and that their sons would grow up without her being there. Henry Lisowski threat happened on March 24, 2008 the day his wife went missing and later dumped the body like a piece of thrash. The defense lawyer is saying the explanation for why Rosa Lisowski, 50, had vanished after walking her son to school. They said that the woman died as a result of a head injury after falling on a set of steps outside her husband’s home. Her body was never OBTAIN. After hearing a DISTRIBUTION between this two arguments, a San Diego Superior Court jury began working to decide whether Henry Lisowski, 69, is guilty of first degree murder. If he is convicted, he could be sent to prison for life without parole. He should be sent to prison for his whole life for doing this to his own wife even thought they were going through a divorced. They would do all this fighting and arguments in front of their sons.
monday!
This morning I read a story about the death of an SDSU freshman. Her body was found on the cliffs below the Torrey Pines Glider port on Valentine’s Day. Her mother said she can’t believe her daughter went for a hike at night alone on the dangerous cliffs above Black’s Beach. Sandy Khoo’s body was found around 12:30 pm by people walking on the beach. Her purse, a water bottle, and a flashlight was found nearby. The mother said it was extremely out of character for her daughter to be out alone at night, she believes she was with someone or meeting someone. Authorities have found no signs of foul play or anything suspicious. According to the medical examiner, she died from blunt-force trauma, consistent with the fall. San Diego Police have opened up an investigation into her death at the request of her mother. Many friends and associates have been interviewed to try to OBTAIN any information. They haven't came up with any new information. One man did say that Sandy went to Black’s beach frequently. A cab dropped her at the trolley station in Old Town, and she was seen going to her dormitory about 7:45pm. The last pone call made from her cell phone was to the Metropolitan Transit System from a bus stop on College ave. near El Cajon blvd. At 12:04 am. I think that the possibilities for this case VARY greatly. I think it takes longer to get the Black’s Beach from College avenue than 30 minutes. So I think there is something suspicious going on in this case and I hope they get justice for her and her family.
Tuesday- Today I read about different subjects.
The first one I read about was of a teenage boy getting stabbed at the trolley station because he got into a confrontation with another. He is in the hospital right now getting treatment. I also read about a woman being hit by a pick up and she dies from her injuries. And after that story I read about a father pleading not guilty to shaking his baby. He is a 22-year old marine charge with murder in the death of his infant son. About the first story I think that if the kid was going to shank someone why are you going to do it in a burnt spot? And I wish luck and happiness for the family members of the woman that got hit by the pick up truck. And last but not least to the soldier doing time if he is not guilty and really didn’t do it I hope he get released and released soon. And if he is guilty I want him to rot in his cell.

Tuesday - In today's paper I read an article about cussing. Many Californians seem to be cussing to much, or at least that what the state assembly thinks. How much people cuss vary from the how much people cussed back in the day. The assembly wants to have a “cuss free week” the first week of march. Its not mandatory the just hope to obtain the strict clean air. One kid say he wonders why when he is in front of his grandma he doesn’t talk like that. But when he is on his own it’s a whole subject. Some teens have started “No Cussing Club” at there high school. They hope to distribute the clean language across there community and across the world. In 20 countries similar clubs have been formed. I think that these clubs wouldn’t work in San Diego. I wouldn’t join one because I feel that cussing is really that bad. There just words and nobody has the right to tell me what I can and cannot say.

In today's news I read about a driver accused of causing a freeway crash that killed a 21- year-old pregnant woman in New Years day pleaded guilty yesterday to charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence. The charges against Joseph Anthony Venegas,40, stem from the death of Elaina Luquis-Ortiz of Lemon Grove who was 6 months pregnant. Two were injured in the Jan 1 accident on Interstate 805. Venegas is expected to be sentenced at a San Diego Superior Court hearing on May 5. He is facing a minimum of 16 years in prison. Luquis-Ortiz and her husband, Francisco, a corporal stationed at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, when they received a phone call from a friend, Carol Silva and I guess he told them what happened. Silva told them that the Mitsubishi Spyder she was driving had a flat tire and that she had to pull over in the side near Home Ave on South-I-805. That’s when Venegas struck by a black Chevrolet Tahoe. That’s when he killed her instantly. Venegas should get charged for murder and should be facing life sentenced in prison.

Tuesday- Today I read the other half and full story about the marine accused of murder. The man was accused of shaking his 4 month old son. The article this time read that the marine was at home with his two sons while his wife was at school. The 4 month old son was said to have started to cry and the marine grabbed him by his wrists. While the child stopped crying and instead of taking him to the emergency room he called his wife to come home. When the wife came home the neighbors said they heard a loud scream and called the police. The family then took the child to the emergency were he was said to be facing head trauma. The next morning the child was pronounced dead and the father was arrested. The father is pleading not guilty but the court is still under investigation.
This was a sad story because a father killed his own son for no reason. The marine should be arrested and booked into prison for life like every other civilian in this country. The court doesn't need evidence they have enough already and I don’t know why its taking so long to sentence him.
I learned that if a gang member would of done that he would never see daylight again.
tuesday :)
This morning I read about a father who pleaded not guilty to his 4 month year old boys death. The father is a 22 year old Marine, Lance Cpl. Michael Bixby. Lance was watching his two sons, 4 month year old Andru, and 22 month old Taylor, while his wife was at school. Lance was busy playing video games, when his son Andru began to cry. Lance grabbed Andru by the wrist and shook him so hard that his head snapped forward. As soon as Lance did that the baby stopped crying. Lance called his wife instead of 911, and her reaction was heard by all the neighbors. Baby Andru was taken to the Rady Hospital where doctors found that the babies wrist were broken, and injuries to his brain and spinal cord, the baby died the next morning. Lance now faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted, he also has a bail of $1 million dollars.
I think that this is very sad. The good thing is that Lance is OBTAINED and not able to walk around with freedom, after he killed his baby. Obviously he wasn’t fit to be a dad. I do not think money should be DISTRIBUTED to the jail, so that Lance has to stay in there and pay for what did.
[tuesday!]
This morning I read a story about the officer who shot and killed the chimp that mauled a woman. He said he plunged into “a depression beyond depression after shooting the raging 200 pound chimpanzee. He also said he was traumatized by seeing the woman. He told a legislative committee that his supervisors filed a workers’ compensation claim on his be half to OBTAIN money for post traumatic stress disorder. Five days later her was notified that his claim had been turned down because the state law applies only to police shooting people. I think they should hook the guy up, because I would be traumatized after seeing that lady’s face too.
-Tuesday
In today’s news, an Escondido couple cheated investors out of $1.8 million by DISTRIBUTING and selling fake certificates of deposit. They were sentenced to four years and four months in prison. Ronal Reiswig and Janet pleaded guilty to charges of grand theft and an allegation that they stole more than $50,000. His OBTAINED another 10-year prison term in a separate case. His wife will be doing the same time as him. They say they faced 109 felony charges involving 40 victims for each victims giving them a VARIED amount of $10,000 to $100,000 each for certificates of deposit.
Thursday- Today I read about a couple different subjects that were both interesting and sad and would even get you mad. The first subject I read about was of a woman that called deputy sheriffs saying that she just got sexually assaulted and it was someone she knew. One of her very own associates. I also read about the border patrol getting drugs worth over $240,000. It was methamphetamine and cocaine. Now I also read about a woman who died in a car crash and she is now identified as Sarah Rochelle Phillips. Now about the woman who got sexually assaulted I just wonder how she got assaulted did she let him into her home or did he force his way in? and for the drugs I just hope it doesn’t go to waste. And for the last subject I hope the woman's family get better in time. Because only time can heal a tragedy like this.
Thursday
In today's news I read about a load of drugs valued of more than $240,000 that was seized by a U.S. Border Patrol agent at the Interstate 8 checkpoint near Pine Valley. Agents found six bundles of crystal meth weighing at least like 6 pounds and at least five bundles of the white girl (cocaine) weighing nearly 13 pounds in the a Ford Bronco, which is one of the four wheel drive system. The Bronco was stopped at a checkpoint about 10 a.m. Thursday morning. It was sent to secondary inspection that’s where a drug detection dog alerted agents to the possibility of drugs in the SUV. The driver was a 22 year old U.S. Citizen who was driving the car.
Wednesday-This morning I read about the girl who has gone missing, named Chelsea King. The last time Chelsea was seen was before she was going out for a run at the park. Her dad was saying that he got home form work ad asked his wife if she heard from Chelsea and his wife said no. They both panicked and knew something was wrong. This was not normal because Chelsea's dad said she always called in if she knew she was going to be home late. Chelsea's dad immediately went to the park since and found her BMW parked and locked. He ran the trail and yelled out her name several times. He heard nothing. By that time the cops had arrived so he just talked to them and let them know what was going on. Cops have a suspect named John Albert Gardner. He is registered as a sex offender.
This news paper is old, and now I know that Chelsea King has died. Her body was found in a lake. I fell really bad for Chelsea's family and Chelsea. She seemed like a good girl, I also think that the guy who took her should never be able to have freedom again. He should be killed.
Thursday - In today's paper I read an article about the missing girl Chelsea King. After trying to obtain the suspect who had physical evidence in the disappearance. They caught the sex offender Sunday, he was taken into custody and is being questioned. He was arrested in front of a popular Mexican Restaurant and bar called Hernandez Hide-A-Away. There was lots of physical evidence that led to Gardner. But the deputies still have no information on the whereabouts of the missing girl. They distributed search teams all of over the southern California region. I think it’s the cops fault because that wasn’t the first girl he did that to. They keep letting these sex offenders go and the number of missing teens will vary.
Thursday !
This morning I read about how the Border Patrol seized a lot of drugs. All the drugs were worth $240,000. Agents found six bundles of crystal methamphetamine. All the drugs weighed more than six drugs. They also found more than 5 bundles of cocaine weighing about 13 pounds. The vehicle was sent to secondary inspection, where a drug dog inspected the car. The driver a 22 year old U.S citizen.
I think that people should stop smuggling drugs. If they are not smart about it, they should not do it. A lot of people are getting caught smuggling drugs, so why risk it. Whatever, that’s their problem, If they want to go to jail.
[thursday]
This morning I read a story about a great grandmother who was sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted on methamphetamine charges. The woman's name is Nancie Erline Henthorne, she is 68 years old. She was also convicted of being armed with a firearm while committing a crime and of hiding proceeds of her drug sales. I learned that the people who DISTRIBUTE meth VARY greatly.
Wednesday- Today we went to a field trip to plant some trees. This was a good opportunity for the reason that we get free Disneyland tickets after we are done. The planting of the trees was easy labor and we only had to do one tree. The thing is that we were such good and fast workers that we got to plant another and some more little bushes. This was a great experience because I had never done any gardening like that ever. The best part was because the whole thing was really fun. The helpers were very helpful and really nice. The place we went to was very cool too for the reason that I don’t normally see places like that. The park was very nice and full of nature although their little river needed a little more water.
This was a cool field trip and I hope we get to go on another one soon. The best thing about it was it seemed to me that everyone had a lot of fun. The feeling of putting more trees in the ground is also another good feeling.
I learned that mother nature can be really beautiful as long as you help take care.
Thursday- Today I read about the first cop to die within thirteen years. The police officer was known as a good man and would do everything to for any of his colleagues. It was a Sunday morning when officer was giving a co-worker a lift found himself op a high speed chase. The officer had noticed that a driver was on the wrong side of the road driving and he tried to pull him over. Well that’s when it turned into a chase. The officer then somehow hit a freeway abutment and was then plunged several hundred yards down a hillside. The driver passed away and the co-worker was seriously injured. The driver then was pulled over and taken into custody a few miles away by another patrol car. The dead officer was a real devastation for everyone especially for his fiancé in which he was planning on marrying in June.
This was a really sad story because the officer was just doing his job. In my opinion the suspect might be charged for some kind of murder just because the one that died was an officer. I hope the man just gets his tickets that he deserves and that’s it.
I learned that police officers have not been decreasing for over 13 years.
Wednesday-
In today’s news, a Chula Vista man was arrested for on suspicion of sexually assaulting on a Spring Valley woman. The Sheriff’s Department say they received a 911 hang-up call which led to a 43-year-old woman that reported she had just been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance. They OBTAINED the identity of the suspect and found his vehicle later that day and was arrested at on of the DISTRUBUTED drive-through of a fast food restaurant and was identified the suspect as Jose Luis Covarrubias. He is being held without bail on suspicion of rape and other VARIED charges.
Thursday-
In today’s news, a man was charged because he was accused of shooting two students at Littleton, Colorado. Bruco Eastwood appeared on video before Judge Thomas Vance to hear the VARIED 15 charges against him. The DISTRIBUTED charges that he OBTAINED include attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, child abuse resulting in injury and possession of a weapon on school grounds. He is being held with bond set at $1 million. They accuse Eastwood of shooting students just outside the school after the classes were released that day and 2 eighth-graders resulted being wounded. One student was treated and released from the hospital and the other had serious injuries.
Friday- Today I read about American idol and how it is losing it’s touch. Back in the days when everything was all good and gravy there were never any complaints but now there’s either too many good singers or not too many their needs to be a balance on shows to keep the viewers interested. Well that’s what I think and most of America agrees. I also read about and seen the video on a hungry shark that was pretty much choking on a boomerang. I hope the shark wasn’t scared and I also hope it gets better. I also read about tiger wood’s being seen golfing in Florida. And I guess he thinks now that he apologized everything will go back to normal.
Well that’s it for today. Have a great weekend miss Jade.
friday
In today's news I read about a Guatemala’s police and the country’s top anti-narcotics have been arrested with a drug trade. Police Chief Baltazar Gonzalez and anti-drug czar Nelly Bonilla were arrested and charged in the connection with a shooting last year over some stolen cocaine that left five police officers dead. Another police officer was arrested also his name is Fernando Carrillo. This arrest lasted 11 months of investigation by the International Commission Against Impunity, or CICIG. The three are accused of heading a criminal network that infiltrated and ruined the police force, dedicated to robbery and drug trafficking. The investigation stemmed from the shootout between police and drug traffickers last year. The shootout was the result of an attempt by police officers to rob 750 kilos of cocaine from the traffickers. The arrests shook the government of President Alvaro Colom, as drug trafficking remains a key issue in his country.
Friday -
In today’s paper I read an article about the racism. Throughout all the UC school there have been racist incidents. State legislators asked “what is being done about this?” The number of racist act varied between school. The UC schools cant seem to distribute discipline through there school. So the legislators hope to change this very soon. They mad it mandatory for them to obtain peace in the schools. They hope to see progress, they will have people monitoring the school to make sure they see improvement. The letter was sent to University of California, UC San Diego Chancellor Marye Anne Fox and the chancellors of UC Berkeley , UC Davis, UC Irvine and UC Santa Cruz. I think this will help keep the peace between the schools. Finally somebody's doing something about it.
Friday :))))))))))
This morning I read about how police found the stolen car that was used to pull out an ATM from a pizza place. The finding of the car, and the stealing of the ATM machine was all done in the same day. The truck was stolen from a man who lives in Bonita. The car is still with investigators, hoping to find evidence. The stolen truck was used by two guys wearing mask and gloves. The pizza place was La Bellas in Chula Vista. The stealers unbolted the ATM from the ground and carried it to their car.
I think this is so crazy ! There has been about 6 ATMS that had been stolen in these pass four week alone. If stores want to OBTAIN their ATM machines they need to do something about it. The ideas of what stores can do VARY, they just need to do something fast.

Friday- Today I read about a big riot that happened yesterday across the county. There were more than five schools and a whole lot of communities involved. The reason was that the state is planning on more budget cuts. The students of many schools and even staff from the school went out and roared a loud call from the suburbs. The governor tried to pass for another cut when the outbreak finally reached and the whole county was outraged. Last year there was already a 20 percent cut and is now trying to go up another 19 percent. UCSD was part of one of the marches and there were many students outraged. This is said to be the Second riot within a month at the university for other reasons.
This is really sad because the students are the ones suffering more than those who make the cuts. There should be a million person march to the capital letting them know that we are not going to take this (B.S.). I think the government is really messing with the schools and they need to stop.
I learned that the governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is not and has never been fit to be governor.
[fridayyy yaaaayy!]
This morning I read a story about a woman in who set a fellow stripper on fire outside the club. A 28-year-old woman was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for setting an exotic dancer on fire outside a Tarzana nightclub. Rianne Theriault-Odom was convicted in February of attacking Roberta Busby, 28, outside the "Babes and Beer" nightclub on February 5, 2009, dousing her with gasoline and setting her on fire. Theriault-Odom testified that Busby punched her but she did not attack her. She also testified that someone else doused Busby with the flammable liquid. She told jurors Busby disrespected her that night and made fun of the stage name "Jen" Theriault-Odom had picked. She admitted to being very drunk on the night of the attack. She told jurors she drank two double shots of Russian vodka, half a fifth of Patrón tequila and five shots of Hennessy cognac. Busby suffered second and third degree burns over 40 percent of her body in the attack. She was hospitalized for five months and had thirty skin grafts. She says she still has difficulty eating and can't open her mouth wide enough to eat a sandwich. I think that this story is really crazy and I’m glad she got sentenced to life. I think this shows that crazy people can VARY from grandpas to strippers. I also think that the bartender shouldn’t have DISTRIBUTED that many drinks to her especially if she was working. I think they probably were both stripping to OBTAIN money for their education. lol
Friday-
In today’s news, 2 million people had been affected in someway from the Chile earthquake. More than 300 people were killed and 15 are missing. The earthquake recorded to be a 8.8-magnitude quake. Haiti’s 7.0 magnitude quake killed about 212,000 people and more than a million homeless. Saturday’s quake was 700 to 800 times stronger. Chile OBTAINED 13 VARIED quakes of magnitude 7.0 or higher since 1973 and since then newer buildings are constructed to help withstand the shocks. The DISTRIBUTED quake had a 15-story high rise near the southern city collapse, the country’s major north-south highway was severed at multiple points, and the capital city’s airport was closed after its terminal sustained major damage.
Friday-On CNN I watched a video of a man who survived a tsunami by holding on for his life by a tree in the village of Perales, Chile. As one of the CNN reporter approached a group of people affected by the tsunami they offered him food. They all seemed to be gathered around a bowl with various types of meat cooked into a rather large spread to be shared. Some of the families posted up flags in the ground to signify where there houses once was. Many of the fisher men were drinking red wine because of the shortage of water, but one fisher man said that it was also to drown away some of the pain that the damages caused. Most of the fisher man harvest sea weed for a living to provide an income. The man who survived the tsunami held on to a tree that was like only 12ft tall. After the water hit the man claimed he ran to higher ground. I think that even the thought of this is unreal. I could only imagine how the man felt during his experience. I guess you could say that he very lucky.
