Tuesday-today I read about Prison-issued toilet paper is what musician William Michael Dillon used to write down most of his songs, including "Black Robes and Lawyers," which has just been released on iTunes. He says "I was arrested for murder on August 26, 1981, for a crime I didn't commit," Dillon tells his audience as he starts strumming his guitar. "I was released on November 18, 2008. Thank you to the keepers of justice.“During those recording sessions, the talk often turned to Dillon's fight, not only for his freedom but also his continuing battle for compensation. While in prison at Avon Park Correctional facility, Dillon helped develop a music program. He learned to play the guitar and sang with fellow inmates in a band.
Monday-today I read about that America as been led to believe that there is a pill that curse almost anything that ails them. One person go prescribed her sleeping pills she thought that it was good for her because she got enough sleep and felt relaxed. But soon after she started feeling another symptoms like bronchitis and lung infection so she went to the pulmonologist who them gave her an antibiotic. After that she felt another symptom, her heart stared skipping beats so she went to the cardiologist who ran a few test and prescribed medication for arrhythmias. Eventually she developed seizures, at that point she was taking at least six different prescriptions. Then she went to the neurologist who then gave her anti-seizure medication on top of that. She then started to feel depressed because nobody could figure out what was wrong with her.
Today I read about Malta votes to allow divorce. Voters in the overwhelmingly catholic country of Malta have elected to allow divorce. Initial results of a weekend referendum suggest the measure will pass with some 54% of votes in support of the introduction of divorce. Though counting continues the people predict the vote will carry and Maltese prime minister Lawrence gonzi who opposed the measure and conceded. The result is not what he wished for. The Mediterranean island nation of Malta is one of the only countries in the world that does not permit divorce. About 98% of Maltese residents are catholic.
In today’s news, 4 were hurt in a crash involving a stolen car in Carson. It was said that a police chase of a stolen car has ended in Carson with a crash that injured three suspects and another motorist. The Torrance Daily Breeze says a Honda stolen at gunpoint in the Los Angeles suburb was spotted at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police chased the car , which crashed head on into a minivan where a handgun was found inside the car. As , for the three men , they had to be treated for injuries at a hospital and the minivan driver was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Today ive learned from the reading that Four passengers aboard a commercial tour bus died and an undetermined number others were injured early Tuesday when the vehicle overturned on I 95 in Caroline County Virginia

today I read about The markings, which have lain unseen for 4,500 years, were filmed using a bendy camera small enough to fit through a hole in a stone door at the end of a narrow tunnel. It is hoped they could shed light on why the tiny chamber and the tunnel -- one of several mysterious passages leading from the larger King's and Queen's chambers -- were originally built. Monday- Today I read on one thousand terrorists were evacuated Tuesday from the Sagrada Familia Church, a popular destination for visitors to Barcelona, Spain, after a man set a fire inside. The fire occurred in the churches crypt, a section always open and used for religious purposes, causing no injury and unknown damage to the crypt. The suspect was arrested later, while the church is closed to the public and will open when it is deemed safe.
Today I read about Obama tours what is left of Joplin. Obama said that they were not going to stop until Joplin's back on its feet. Obama spoke at a memorial service and punctuated a day of remembrance one week after the disaster. The Joplin tornado was the worst to hit the united states. Thirty nine people remain unaccounted for. Obama made a promise that there country will be there with you every single step of the way. It was a pledge he extended to all parts of the nation raked by violent storms this season
Today vie learned from the reading that the worlds strongest winds race high in the sky but that doesn't mean they're out of reach as a potentially potent energy source flying swooping and floating turbines are being developed to turn high altitude winds and some electricity
On today’s news paper I read about how Murray Carpenter an NYT News Service, talks about ” How much caffeine is too much”? He say’s how the so called energy drinks are being mostly consumed by children. Their was once a trial a century ago in a courtroom in Chattanooga, Tenn. The trail grabbed headlines for weeks and produced scientific research that holds up to this day- yet generated no federal limits for caffeine in foods and beverages. According to two researchers who recently wrote in the Journal of the American Medical association, non alcoholic emery drinks say that “ it might pose just as great a threat to individual and public health and safety as alcoholic ones and ‘more research that can guide actions of regulatory agencies is needed”.

Wednesday-today I read about some U.S generals in Afghanistan are apologizing for an airstrike that killed civilians in southwestern Afghanistan. The commanders of the southwestern NATO’s top priority is to prevent civilian deaths. The airstrike took place after a marine was killed and five insurgents took cover in a compound were civilians were in. Toolan said the airstrike resulted in nine civilian death but the Afghan officials who said NATO airstrike killed 12 children and 2 women. They say the airstrike hit two civilian houses in the Salam Bazaar area of Nawzad. The president of Afghan Hamid Karzai said that NATO and American forces have been warned repeatedly that their arbitrary and improper operations are the causes of killings of innocent people. He added that his condemnation would be “the last warning to NATO forces, American forces, and American officials.”According to the United Nations, insurgents caused about 75 percent of all civilian casualties last year, the deadliest year for civilians in the country.
In today’s news, sheriffs were called Friday afternoon to a spring valley apartment complex on Harness Street where they found a 16 year old male who had been shot in the stomach. The victim who was uncooperative with deputies was located outside and was taken to a hospital. During the investigation , deputies found several guns in an apartment that were stolen in burglaries in the area. It was said that a 19 year old man was arrested , but it was not known if he was connected to the shooting or whether one of the weapons found was used in the shooting er whut ??
The investigation of a man who apparently jumped from a Spring Valley freeway early Wednesday led to the grisly discovery of a woman and her two children dead in Chula Vista. The woman was identified as Mary Alvarez, 41, an employee at San Ysidro High School, and her children as Angelica, 12, and son, Hamid, 11 and as for the man his name has not been released. Officers found Hamid’s body in a second-floor bedroom of a townhome on Currant Way in southeastern Chula Vista. A bloodied stairway led to two more rooms, where the bodies of Angelica and her mother were found. Authorities have not released a possible motive for the deaths in the Chula Vista case but are still under investigation to find out the WHY ?s.
Wednesday-Today I read about the weekends ethnic food fair at Balboa park. The event was sponsored by the house of pacific relations which is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Thursday- today I read about Caylee Anthony's capital murder trial resumed Friday with jurors watching another recorded visit from her parents in which the Orlando woman praises her parents and says she just wants to be home with them and her daughter. Anthony's defense has claimed that the little girl drowned in her grandparents' pool on June 16, the day she was last seen, and that the suspect and her father panicked and kept the death a secret. George Anthony has denied that claim. The taped conversations occurred as tips poured in to authorities on Caylee's whereabouts. The little girl was last seen June 16, 2008, but was not reported missing until a month later.
In Friday’s morning blog I read about a woman that was hidden and found in a motel and Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the body of that woman. Police found the deceased woman at the Capitol Motel at 1749 South State Street around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. They say the body was found under the bed, tucked inside the box spring.
Friday-today I read about a former black panther Elmer “Geronimo” Pratt who was wrongly imprisoned for 27 years on a murder conviction died his former lawyer said that he was 63 years old. They still don’t know the exact cause of death, he died in a small village in Tanzania were he lived with his life and child. They call him a true American because he was an Army veteran who served in two tours in Vietnam before joining the black panthers. Patt was convicted of the 1968 murder of Caroline Olsen on a Santa Monica tennis court. He was in jail for 27 years until 1997 after a judge the prosecutor had concealed evidence. The victims husband, wounded during the robbery, originally identified another man as the killer but the jury was not notified of that.
Today I read an article titled UCSD police investigate attempted rape. Attempted rape was reported early Friday. The assault was reported about 2 a.m. in a residence at Warren, police said. Authorities did not specify what type of residence the victim was in or whether the victim was injured. The assailant was a dark-skinned male with short hair. Another report was An attempted kidnapping occurred on campus, west of Geisel library, about 8 p.m. on May 20. woman reported that a man approached her from behind, put a paper bag over her head and tried to drag her off the path but she broke away. That assailant was described as light skinned with wavy brown hair, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, of medium build, and wearing blue pants.
Today I read an article titled "Beautiful Boy" puts rare twist on school shootings.Theres a lot of shooting going on in schools filling up news paper but a movie will be coming out soon. The movie is called “beautiful Boy” and it is based on the parents of a boy who does the shooting. In the movie the parents of the teen gun mans marriage is already down the drain then it is tested when their only son goes on a rampage at his college before turning the gun on himself. director and co-writer Shawn Ku says "But when something like this happens, they are so often forgotten, or worse, blamed. We thought it was worth showing their humanity,“. "Ultimately our story is about grief and love. The shooting is secondary," said Ku.IN the movie the parents blame themselves for not being happy role models and they blame the kids at school. ku hopes people will come and watch the movie and he says After all, said Ku, "No parent sets out to create a monster."

Today I read about Australians are demanding a ban on cattle exports to Indonesia after an investigation revealed brutal treatment that included animals getting flogged, kicked and bleeding to death in some cases. The call comes after an investigation by an Australian animal rights group, which followed the cattle from the docks to 11 abattoirs in Indonesia.
In today’s new, continuation of the chula vista woman and her two children who were found dead in their apartment , Wednesday appeared to have been strangled in what police are investigating as a murder – suicde. Mary Catherine Alvarez and her daughter Anjelica, who were found in their bedrooms, also appeared to have been struck on their heads with something blunt and possibly sharp. Hamid , was said to be found in his bedroom on another floor of the tri – level unit , and said that the boy did not show signs of any blunt force trauma. Authorities believe the family was the victim of a murder-suicide involving Alvarez’s boyfriend, who apparently leaped to his death from a Spring Valley freeway before daybreak Wednesday. Police said his identity has not been confirmed and his family has not been notified of his death. He was not the father of the children.
Today I read about fbi investigating reported Somali American suicide bomber. The fbi is investigating reports that a suicide bomber who killed two Africans union soldiers in Mogadishu, Somalia. According to the African union, several extremist insurgents had disguised themselves as Somali government forces In order to attack an African union post. Days after Mondays suicide bombing al shabaab a Somali militant group allied with al Qaeda posted a statement on its website identifying the suicide bomber responsible for Mondays bombing as Abdullah ahmed a Somali American from Minneapolis. The u.s. state department has said al- shabaab believed to have ties to al Qaeda.
Friday- today I read about A former NBA star Allen Iverson launching an expletive-ridden tirade against police when a car that belonging to him was pulled over for a traffic violation last week. Iverson is 35 years old , and was a passenger in a grey Lamborghini, spied by an Atlanta officer changing lanes without signaling on march 30th. The driver, identified in the report as Antwuan Classy, couldn't produce any documentation for the vehicle. The car was towed, and Iverson later "came back and apologized for disrespecting the police.
Wednesday- Today I read about Woman in jailed after cutting off husband's penis. Catherine Kieu Becker put drug on her husband's diner so he could be sleepy. The victim went to lie down ,tied in bed, and woke up and his wife was taking his clothes off & cut his penis. Backer told the police he deserved it. Becker, 48, was arrested for aggravated mayhem, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, administering a drug with intent to commit a felony, poisoning, and spousal abuse. She was booked into the Orange County Jail. His husband 51 years old underwent to emergency surgery .
