In today’s paper I read about how an 88-year-old white supremacist gunman, with a violent anti-Semitic past, opened fire with a rifle inside the easily ACCESSIBLE U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum yesterday. The racist man fatally wounded a security guard before being shot down by other officers. The assailant was hospitalized in critical condition, leaving behind TECHNICAL investigation by both federal and local law enforcement agencies. In another story, San Diego Schools will be ATTRIBUTING a requirement of all students to take University of California prerequisite courses, starting with the freshmen in the 2010-11 school year. The San Diego school board voted Tuesday night to begin laying groundwork for the new graduation standards after hearing Mission Bay High School junior Lula Berhe and others who have been lobbying for the changes. In another story, two University City High School students accused of causing a minor explosion with dry ice on the campus yesterday have been arrested on suspicion of setting off a destructive device, a felony. Although no one was hurt by the blast, authorities are taking the case very seriously to set an example. The students, both 14, brought the dry ice onto the campus for a school project and then decided to stuff some of it in a plastic bottle and set it in on a patio where students eat lunch. A chemical reaction caused pressure to build up inside the bottle until it exploded. In my opinion, if the 88-year-old white supremacist does survive his injuries, he should be put to death on charges involving hate crimes and attempted, mass murder. I believe that the new requirement to implement University prerequisite tests starting with freshmen in the 2010-11 school year is a very good way to give the students a feel for college, academically. In the case with the dry ice bomb, I believe that the students should be dealt with by the law as if any other case of this type, but they should not be expelled from their school. School is something that can damage and fix it’s students, and in this case it needs to do some fixing.
In today news, The 88-year-old white supremacist charged with killing a guard at the Holocaust Memorial Museum ACCESS a note proclaiming President Obama a tool of "Jew owners,“. James von Brunn remained in critical condition in a Washington hospital after being shot by other ATTRIBUTE security guards at the museum Wednesday. Von Brunn has been charged with murder in the shooting death of museum guard Stephen Tyrone Johns, 39, and could face the death penalty. Von used a sloppy TECHNIQUE by shooting a guard through a glass door.
As millions of Iranians cast their ballots in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iranians in the U.S. are also turning out in record numbers to vote. From New York to California, there are 41 designated voting locations where Iranian citizens can cast absentee ballots.
