Today I read about a man sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for second degree murder. The man was convicted of second degree murder for shooting another man. The man that he shot was in a parked car. This happened in Logan Heights. He was sentenced Thursday. Donnell Fulcher 35, was convicted of killing Roberto Rodriguez 23, in 2006. Fulcher also shot Roberto’s fiancé in the stomach and she was 3 months pregnant at the time. The baby did survive.
Interesting facts- The man did it for revenge.
My Opinion- I think that is a very sad thing that happened not only did the family lose Roberto the baby never will know his father. I think that the family will visit him more than ANNUALY. The judge had a VALID reason to give him that much time in jail. The judge was ADEQUATE.
In today’s paper I read about how Greg Louganis, former professional diver, claims that his life is more about dogs than diving. Surprisingly, Greg does not even have diving board in his ADEQUATE house in Malibu. Greg Louganis, the four-time Olympic gold medalist, doesn’t dive anymore. He does not even dive at an ANNUAL rate. In fact the last time that he did push off a diving board was in 1995. In another, a high-ranking drug cartel suspect was captured this week in Tijuana, and was described as an extremely violent man who helped lead a street battle in April 2008 that left 13 dead. Jose Ramos, also known as La Parra, was a key player in the VALID war between two rival drug gangs. Until is detention, Parra was described by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration as one of two top lieutenants in the organization headed by Eduardo Simental, nicknamed El Teo. Parra’s responsibilities included transporting drugs, overseeing neighborhood drug dealers and kidnapping and extorting businessmen. Parra also is suspected in the killing and torturing of two Mexican federal agents assigned to investigate organized crime. Parra has been on the DEA’s most wanted list that has also named a new generation of suspected cartel leaders. In my opinion, I find it surprising that the diver has put all of his trophy winning days behind him so easily. I would expect for him to continue to swim for recreation, but it seems as though he really has turned his focuses to dogs and every day life. Also, the capture of La Parra is a great achievement. If we can make him talk, maybe he will give us vital information to cartel headquarters, and where the origins of their drug productions are taking place as well. Although it is highly unlikely that he will give up so much information, there is always a lingering hope.
Today I read about a man who denies beaten up kids with a leather strap. Bryant Middleton says that Troy Tidwell used to beat him with a leather strap when he was 14, when Tidwell was an administrator at a Florida reform school. Tidwell’s lawyer has asked the judge to throw out the civil case in part because so much time has passed. Middleton and other men remember Tidwell for two reasons; he was brutal and had only one arm , his right arm. Middleton says he recalls the sound of the whip coming through the air like a hissing snake and that the impact was unimaginable. Tidwell says he just spanked boys not beat them. He also says he never raised his hand above his head when he spanked a boy and that he never used full force. Middleton and other men say they recall been beaten and sexually abuse. This is just nasty and lunatic. Its obvious Tidwell is guilty, you can see it in his face he looks evil.
In today news, Mexico City has arrested five men of suspects of killing of a veteran crime reporter. The man VALID was a warning against meddling with a powerful drug cartel. The crime reporter name was Eliseo Barron and had ADEQUATE many reported murders from drug cartels. The man was abducted in his own home in front of his wife & two daughters. His body was found the next day in an irrigation ditch. These thing happen all the time in Mexico, never ANNUAL.
