Danny Barter vanished in 1959. He was on a family camping trip to Alabama's Perdido Bay. He was playing with his dad one minute, gone the next. "Just like that," CONFERRED his brother Mike Barter. Danny was 4 years old. Last weekend, his loved ones returned to the campsite and to the scene of the presumed stranger abduction. They came to remember Danny and to rededicate a half-century mission to find him. Even with the passage of time, their faith has not wavered. "We've never doubted that he's ... out there," Mike Barter said. "Until they prove otherwise, we hope one day we will be reunited. "Their hope has been bolstered by investigators with the FBI and the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, which reopened the case last year after hearing of a recent DEBATE. "A lead was sparked when someone was sitting in a public area talking about what happened," FBI spokeswoman Joyce Riggs wrote in an e-mail to the media. As cold case cops know, a wisp of a lead can turn into a big break, a fact FBI Special Agent Angela Tobon believes can solve the Daniel Barter mystery. "Even if [people] think it's insignificant, it's probably not," Tobon said. "Each little piece of the puzzle may not mean something, but when you put it all together, you get the big picture. "Danny was the third youngest of Paul and Maxine Barter's seven children. He had brown hair and big brown eyes. "He's such a very pretty and sweet child," his mom told the Mobile Register in an article published June 21, 1959. "I can understand why someone would want to take him, because he's such a pretty child.” President Obama signed landmark, CIVIL legislation Monday giving the Food and Drug Administration new power to regulate the manufacturing, marketing and sale of tobacco. The Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act gives the FDA power to ban candy-flavored and fruit-flavored cigarettes, widely considered appealing to first-time smokers, including youths. It also prohibits tobacco companies from using terms such as "low tar," "light" or "mild," requires larger warning labels on packages, and restricts advertising of tobacco products.

Today I read about how dads can spend more time with their children. They say fathers miss a special event in their children’s life. Many dads bring home work to the house and even do work at their own house. Poll indicates that 39 percent of dads spend two hours or less with kids on workdays. Also, 30 percent of dads would take pay cut for more kid-time. Expert offers tip to enjoy time with family and still move career forward. These tips are; keep a family calendar, bring family to work, out down the smart phones. They said fathers come home, and even at home they be doing work in their e-mails or blackberries. I also read this story about three people pretending to be marshals. They went in to the Flores's home and shot Flores's daughter and husband. They said they went to there house because they suspected he was a drug dealer.
Today I read about hope through tragedy. Mark Cormier has been mourning the loss of his son. Stephen Cormier who was gunned down May 30 2009. He was gunned down by gang members shot several times in the back of his head. Now Mark Cormier is joining with city leaders to make sure that his sons loss is “not in vain”. Mark and his fiancĂ© had to watch paramedics stop performing cpr on Stephen and pronounce him dead. His father wants to build a park exactly where Stephen was shot it was an empty lot that the city owns.
Interesting facts- the suspect who is unknown is still on the loose.
My Opinion- I am very sad to here this because I knew Stephen personally its hard to accept that he is gone now. I hope that they find whoever did this to him and they mess his life up and make sure he never gets out of prison.
In the paper I read about a metro train collision. After touring the wreckage Tuesday of two Metro transit trains that collided the day before, killing seven. At least three of the bodies the most recent ones found were trapped in a very compressed area. The crash occurred along the Red Line just before 5 p.m. Monday on an above-ground track in the District of Columbia near the border with Takoma Park, Maryland. Both cars were on the same track, traveling in the same direction south from the Fort Totten Metrorail station to the Shady Grove station. They don’t know at this point whether the operator could see the train in front of her in time to stop said Deborah Hersman. The weather at the time of the crash was fine it was not a rainy or windy day. Hersman walked through the tracks with her investigators. They still don’t know what caused this but they are still investigating it that it weird.

According to Grell's lawyer, he has such a low IQ that he doesnt deserve to get the death penalty.
