What I learn about this article I read this morning is INITIAL on ,Little League and it takes place in the AREA of Chula Vista. Park View Little League is aiming to raise $45,000 to cover family expenses through pool play and $72,000 to cover expenses for a run to the finals. They EMERGED right away when they beat the Lakeside League up in Northern California. It was a big SIGNIFICATION for Chula Vista parents that their kids have this big ole OPPORTUNITY. The CONSEQUENCES are that they might not raise all the money that they need top gather together by donations. Parents IDENTIFY that is a one time opportunity for the kids.

Today I read on the newspaper about police checkpoints in the city of San Diego. A lot of people at a town meeting seemed to be against this idea. They think that it is just an excuse to find illegal immigrants in San Diego and deport them. Even an ex-assistant sheriff is against this idea of police checkpoints. It is in my opinion that those checkpoints can be useful when handled properly. Like for instance what if there is a crazy guy on the run who killed a lot of people I don’t want that guy to be in the same city that I’m in hopefully they catch somebody like that in a checkpoint. But on the other hand what if a illegal immigrant who is just trying to better his situation is coming from work and is really tired and all of a sudden he gets stopped at a checkpoint and gets deported. Hopefully the police ant these checkpoints don’t abuse there power.

Today I read about how the little league world series is coming up soon on Friday. In the world serious we have some of are own natives from San Diego, Parkview little league baseball team located in Chula vista. They have been doing good and sweeping teams in the U.S and there rated like number 1 or 2 team in America. They had a fun raiser the other day to raise money to go across to play and they raised 22,000 in one day but 10,000 was raised by the padres. I think this is good for San Diego because we haven't had winning season in many things besides football in pro and pop Warner and high school. I think if they identify there opponents best player and construct a plan against him they will be significant.
