In today’s news I read about a Venezuelan authorities who arrested a 29 year old man on suspicion that was plotting to kill President Hugo Chavez. The man whose identity was not released was arrested in the city of El Vigia in western Venezuela near the border with Colombia. The suspect would always sent text messages about the assassination El Aissami said Thursday on the ministry's web site. Chavez recently canceled his visit to Merida state, where El Vigia is located. The cancellation had nothing to do with the alleged plot. The suspect had traveled to Colombia several times. Venezuela and Colombia have strained relations and Chavez has previously accused Colombian officials and right-wing paramilitary units of plotting his assassination.

Monday- Today I read about Children in Grades 3 through 6 who are obese are more likely to be bullied than their normal-weight peers, a new study has found. No one who has attended grade school or who has even the slightest familiarity with children will be surprised by these findings. What is surprising, however, is that obese children are bullied more often even if they possess qualities that can discourage bullies, such as having good social skills or doing well in school. In the study, which appears this week in the journal Pediatrics, Lumeng and her colleagues followed more than 800 children all born in 1991 from 10 cities across the U.S. When the children were in the third, fifth, and sixth grades, the researchers surveyed teachers, mothers, and the children themselves about whether they were bullied, and also surveyed the adults about the children's social skills. They then compared these responses with the children's body mass index, a simple ratio of height and weight.

This morning I read about how a lady who was convicted for running a prostitution ring. This lady , Robin Carrese Reid who is 44 was hiding her business as a massaging business. Robin pleaded guilty to five counts of pimping and one count of pandering in connection to the massaging website. The website had a lot of provocative pictures of other women around their late twenties. The website also said that the customers would be receiving “special treatment, or individual attention.”These ladies , which are about six can also be convicted.
This story does not surprise me. So much stuff like this is going on, that this does not stand out to me. I also wonder why if ladies want to put themselves out there and have sex for money, why cant they? I know its nasty, but its their body and the do it behind the back of officers and get away with it.

Today I read an article about an oil spill that could effect president Obama’s plans for drilling offshore. The president made plans to drill in march but the spill has put those plans on hold. New offshore drilling in most U.S. waters has been banned since the early 1980s, because of the damage that oil spills caused. In 1969 their was an oil spill that caused protests that grew into a broader environmental movement. Many people are against drilling because of all the animals that are effected by the spills. I seen some pictures of the birds covered in oil and its pretty messed up because a lot of them die. Obama said Friday he still believes that domestic oil production is an important part of the strategy for energy security, but he added, I've always said it must be done responsibly, for the safety of our workers and our environment.

Monday- Today I read an article about a West view wrestling teacher that was arrested. The ex teacher is behind bars for the suspicion of molesting a fifteen year old girl. The thing was that he was already being tried for another count. Which was that he sent pornography to another sixteen year old girl. The man then was set free on bail but was rearrested again on the suspicion of the other girl. The man then pleaded guilty to the second one and is being tried for that. The court will be held in a few weeks. The man will have to register as a sex offender for life.
I liked this article because it got a man behind bars for a while and will be monitored always. The thing was that in the article it didn’t state what the girls parents stated about the situation. I think that people like him should just be released from this country and not aloud back in.
I learned that this country has a lot of nasty people around everywhere.

This morning I read a story about an eight year old boy found tied to a table after his 15 year old brother called child services and police. The boy was found on the floor with his hands and feet bound behind his back with duct tape. A shoe lace was around his neck and feet bound him to the coffee table. Police say the 15-year-old then went on to explain that his mother, 37-year-old Andreia Huffman, made his older sister tie the 8-year-old to a table every night and "slams his head into the wall, breaking his nose”. Police said none of the other children showed signs of abuse, but all nine children were taken to the Department of Children and Family Services. The police report reads, "Andreia then replied in an excited utterance, 'I am not the only one who does it and I'm not the only one that's going to get in trouble”. Huffman also told officers that she can't control her son and that they have no idea how bad he acts which is why she has her daughter tie him up. I think that abusive parents should have to REGISTER like sex offenders or something. I think these people are disgusting and should never be able to get their children back again.

Monday- Today I read about Floyd Mayweather a boxer who can handle adversity like a champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0) landed 208 of 477 punches, Shane Mosley only connecting on 92 of 452. It was a great fight. Mosley is a first-ballot Hall of Famer he was close to his winning belt. When Mosley connected with that powerful right hand early on -- the night's only legitimate OMG moment -- Mayweather needed to grab hold just to keep from hitting the canvas. Mosley followed it up with another thudding right and seemed to have lured Mayweather into the firefight observers believed most conducive to Shane's chances. But Mosley couldn't deliver a coup de grace before the bell and struggled to catch up with the adjustments that Mayweather made between the second and third rounds. Tuesday- Today I read about A man tried to kidnap a 13-year-old girl near the Eighth Street Trolley Station in National City about 3 p.m. Thursday, police said Friday. It was the second time this week that a teen girl was targeted by a would-be kidnapper in South County. It’s unclear whether the violator in both cases is the same person. There’s some similarities, National City police Lt. Keith Fifield said. On Wednesday, a High Tech High student fought off a man who grabbed her by the arm while she was walking to school in the morning. The girl ran to her school and reported the incident. In Thursday’s incident, the girl was asked by a man to help him place a box in the trunk of his car and grabbed her right arm when she got closer, Fifield said. She broke free and ran to a waiting bus near the trolley station on Eighth Street and East Harbor Drive

No official numbers are available for this year, but more than 500 killings have been reported by local media. Some reports have the figures as high as 810 in Juarez this year. According to a report released in April by the Mexican government, Chihuahua state is Mexico's hardest-hit state by drug violence, with 6,757 people killed since the start of the drug war at the end of 2006.

Faisal Shahzad, 30, was arrested around 11:45 p.m. ET Monday at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport;.
They just caught him at the last second," a law enforcement source said.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg praised the dogged law enforcement efforts in chasing down the suspect but also said the city won't tolerate any backlash against Pakistanis or Muslims.
Shahzad became a U.S. citizen on April 17, 2009, which aided investigators in the case, the federal law enforcement source said. Because of his recent change in residency status, authorities had his picture and were able to show it to the seller of the vehicle, who identified Shahzad as the purchaser.

Today I read about some fans hopping the fence at a baseball game. During Monday night's game against the St. Louis Cardinals, a teenager wearing a red Phillies National League Champions shirt began running around the outfield waving a towel or another shirt. A Philadelphia Police Department officer chased him, pointing a taser gun pointed directly at the outfield intruder. After a few moments the fan was tasered and fell on the outfield grass. The officer said that this was the first time that some one was tasered the park, but that he shouldn’t have ran on to the field. Normally, when a fan runs onto the field members of security or police just tackle them.

In today’s paper I read an article about a scheme to bomb Time Square. In the article a man has been arrested for trying to drive a car bomb into NYC. The man tried to place a proportion of bombs around the city. Before he could finalize his plot he was quickly taken into custody. The plan was to drive a car bomb into Time Square and blow it up. Many people ask why, why would somebody do something like this? He did it to kill the innocent and to strike fear into the hearts of Americans. People like him who raise a hate for our free country live to do this. I hope they send him to Guantanamo bay and register him as a terrorist.

Tuesday- Today I read an article on two guys that were charged with murder. Although the murder is still under investigation the have two main suspects. One of the guys is an Ex assembly state speakers son. The man is outraged but seems as if he has no power over that. The two suspects were said to have been in a San Diego State University apartments. When picking a fight with everyone around them. They then got into a confrontation with someone and one guy ended up dying. The whole thing is trying to be said to be all self defense but the court is not taking any of it.
This was a article because there were two guys who killed someone and were arrested. The whole thing didn’t really state who died. I really would have liked to know who died.
I learned that even very important people have bad children.

This morning I read about a drive by shooting SCHEME that happened early Tuesday south Sacramento. Three men were shot. More than a dozen bullet holes could be seen in the front of a residence. The shooting occurred just after midnight. The victims were hanging out in front of the house when someone in a passing car opened fire. Investigators said the victims have been uncooperative with police and there are few witnesses. Two of the shooting victims were taken to a hospital via ambulance, while the third victim drove himself to a hospital. I think its really sad that someone would attack somebody's’ home like that. There could have been kids inside.

Today I read about a situation that had to do with apple. The whole thing was about a really high ranked person from apple accidentally left his phone behind at a restaurant. There it was founded by another person who sold it for about five thousand dollars. The phone was sold to another technology company. They then posted up all the new secrets about the new iPhone which was not out yet. Apple then went to court and ordered a search warrant to collect and retrieve any data that has to do with apple from the owner of the other tech company.
I think that apple did the right thing to protect their information. In this case I also think that there should be more search warrants that could be given out if your phone is stolen. I also think that if someone did that to my company I would sew them for everything they have.

Wednesday- Today I read about The Times Square car bomb suspect sensed authorities were closing in on him in the hours leading up to his arrest, law enforcement sources told CNN on Wednesday. I was expecting you. Are you NYPD or FBI? Faisal Shahzad asked a law enforcement official when he was seized on a plane late Monday a dramatic arrest minutes before the Emirates passenger jet was to depart from John F. Kennedy International Airport for Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The sources, directly involved in the investigation of the botched bombing attempt on Saturday night, he told CNN that Shahzad suspected authorities were on to him after news reports that he allegedly bought a vehicle in Connecticut. I think that this guy is stupid because his plans obviously didn’t work the bombing or whatever didn’t even get anybody.

A REGISTERED man originally from United Kingdom, Godfrey Davies learned he needed surgery to remove polyps blocking his nasal airways, he set out on a mission to find an affordable surgeon and learned that it was all to expensive. A semiretired man from his real estate business and uninsured, says he received estimates from two surgeons. When hospital, anesthesia and incidental fees were all tallied, the cheapest price he could find in Indianapolis, Indiana, was $33,127 which he would need to pay out of pocket which was a SCHEME. Frustrated that his bargain shopping saved him so little, he called his family in the United Kingdom for assistance. They told him they had found a private hospital in Wales that would perform the surgery for $2,930 [or £1,897]. He bought a $768 round-trip ticket, boarded a flight to the UK to have his polyps removed there saving almost $30,000 with the PROPORTION of the money he expected.

Wednesday- Today I read an article about a missing dog. The article stated that a lady in which was going through breast cancer lost her dog. The lady had received a dog as a birthday present and seven months later it went missing. The lady said they looked and posted up posters for about six months until they gave up. The dog was then found two years later in a vehicle of another woman. The thing was the other lady was arrested for human smuggling. While they scanned the dog and found that it belonged to the other lady. The police returned the dog to its rightful owner and it really put a smile on the victims face.
This was a cool article because a dog went missing for two years and was then found. The dog must have been stolen from the other ladies back yard. I think that the lady should also get charged for the kidnapping of the dog.
I learned that the border patrol is really tough right now and no one will be getting across for a while.

This morning I read about a horrible incident that occurred in Mexico City. As five men were playing soccer, some men came up to them in a car and shot them. It is unknown why they were playing so late, but some think it is because it is so hot and humid in the day that they wanted to play at night. Many people also work unusual hours in the tourist industry. There has been more than 22,700 people who have died because of the drug war. On Monday Mexican soldiers seized an arsenal of gold plated, diamond encrusted weapons that were believed to be those of the Valencia gang, which are allied to the Sinaloa drug cartels.
I think that these people did not deserve to die. I think that it is sad that they are just killing random people.

In today’s paper I read an article about new technology. The San Diego defense county are trying to come up with a scheme to help future warfare. They are trying to register more drones into the naval field hoping that it will make things easier. With more drones its not only inexpensive but that means we need less naval arsenal. Less money being spent and less soldiers out there sounds good to Defense Secretary Robert Gates. I think a proportion of drones and a naval arsenal wont hurt. This may lead to less jobs out there and more people and poverty. The future of warfare is now being planned out and many people may not like it.

This morning I read about a Bakersfield lawmaker who has proposed a legislation to create an animal-abuse registry, similar to a sex offender registration. The bill follows the conviction of a now-former Los Angeles firefighter who beat his neighbor ‘s dog with a rock so severely that it had to be euthanized. Glynn Johnson was sentenced to three years’ parole and community service . Johnson said he was defending himself after the dog attacked him. Animal cruelty offenders often escalate to violence against people. The bill is also designed to increase pet adoption restrictions. The bill passed the senate’s Public Safety Committee but still must clear the Appropriations Committee and be approved by the Assembly. I think that this bill is a very good idea. Animal abusers should have to REGISTER. I’m glad someone in California finally has a good idea.

Thursday- Today I read an article about how a few world war 2 bombers touched Carlsbad aerostation in years. The article was about how the men driving these planes got a touch of history. The reason that the men were young pilots in their day fighting in world war 2. The men stated that they felt as if it began all over again. The ceremony was on the behalf of those heroes who fought for this country. The men also said that this was just to remember history. The whole thing was a show for the people sitting in their cars watching these bombers fly through the air once again. It was really pleasing for most audience for they really got a touch of history.
This was a cool story because men from a long time ago flew big aircrafts. They were used in world war 2 and really helped out. The men also were recognized and it made the U.S. look awesome.

This was given a lot of thought after a Los Angeles County firefighter beat his neighbors dog with a rock so bad that the dog had to be euthanized. The bill passed the Senates Public Safety Committee by a Democratic Party majority but still must clear the Appropriations Committee and be approved by the Assembly. The registration of animal cruelty would be just like the one that has sex offenders. Those who have been in trouble for animal cruelty would have to list their address and criminal history on the registry.
I think that this is a good idea, but it is kind of over the top. I really do not think people are going to pay attention to the registry beside pet adoption places. There is a lot of people who breed dogs and sell them like at the swap meet, so people who have gotten in trouble for animal cruelty might just still purchase animals.

This morning I read about a woman in West Hollywood that stabbed and wounded four people in a busy Target store Monday afternoon. Layla Tarawick used a butcher knife and a carving knife to attack the victims, using both blades at the same time- one in each hand, a mother holding her baby was stabbed in the neck and was taken to the hospital, where she was in stable condition. The baby wasn’t hurt, and all four victims are expected to survive. An off duty police officer grabbed his duty weapon, identified himself and ordered the woman to drop the knives. She ran away but the officer followed her until she turned to him and waved the knives at him. He decided not to shoot because he didn’t feel his life was in danger. The second time he ordered her down, she complied. I think that this is a tragic story and I am glad that all the people are going to survive. I think this lady should be committed to a high security mental facility for life. They show her picture in the story and she looks really disturbed. I don't think she had a real SCEME, I think she just did it because she's crazy. I think she has a chemical imbalance and they are not PROPORTIONED.

Friday- Today I read about A gunman that opened fire on a crowd of partygoers in Chula Vista early Friday, injuring three people before a nearby off-duty police officer fired back, authorities said. The officer’s bullet is not believed to have hit anybody. Police questioned several witnesses, and it was unknown if the gunman had been detained. The shooting occurred about 12:20 a.m. on Fifth Avenue near Halsey Street after a fight inside a house spilled into the street, said Chula Vista police spokesman Bernard Gonzalez. Police began receiving 911 calls reporting the brawl. At the same time, the officer who lives nearby heard the gunfire and rushed outside armed. The officer saw a man with a handgun among a crowd of 30 to 40 people in the street and fired at least one round at the gunman before taking cover. He then called police for backup. Three people were later found in a nearby house with injuries that did not appear to be life threatening. A woman had been shot in the leg, one man hit in the shoulder and another man in arm. All three were taken to a hospital.

Friday- Today I read an article about how the navy is also asking for money. The reason is because they need more new aircrafts that will help the coast from any attacks. The government although is not wanting to give up any money. The reason is because they are supporting the army and marine corps. They are the ones fighting in Iraq and that is what the government is more concerned about. The smaller navy is not asking for much but is needing some things. There will be a decision made to help benefit all the needs. The government is really in debt and will probably ask the economy to help benefit.
This was a really frustrating article because the government asks the people for a lot. They should just blow up Iraq it would cost less. Also if they did blow it up they wouldn’t have to go to war again.
I learned that the government just wants to ask the people for more in a way that others wouldn't see.

In today's paper I read an article about change in the Economy. The recovery of the US economy in in effect while more jobs are being gave away. There was a proportion of 290,00 jobs gained in April. The government scheme is to give out more jobs to people who don’t have one. By doing this the economy will slowly but surly get better. I think that this is a good thing, because the government is doing everything they can to get more jobs out there. Many people register for hundreds of jobs and don’t even get a interview from one. The graphs show a significant increase in payroll with the last months.

In today's news I read about an a Irish authority who reopened all airports Friday after shutting them down for several hours because of ash from an Icelandic volcano. It was the third time in four days that the airports had to be closed because of the volcanic ash, which is being carried in the atmosphere southeast toward Ireland. The Eyjafjallajokull volcano in southern Iceland, which erupted last month, has been expelling denser and coarser ash higher into the atmosphere since Tuesday afternoon. That ash is being carried down from Iceland toward Ireland and the United Kingdom, causing the flight problems. Airports in Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland were shut earlier this week because of the ash. Flights between North America and Europe are still permitted to fly over the ash cloud at higher altitudes. It urged passengers to contact their airlines for the latest information on their flights. Volcanic ash is a serious hazard to aircraft, reducing visibility, damaging flight controls, and ultimately causing jet engines to fail. It is the first time the ash had caused problems for British and Irish airspace since last month, when it forced the shutdown of airports across the European continent for six days and stranded tens of thousands of passengers around the world.

This morning I read about a small riot at the Georg Bailey detention Facility in Otay Mesa Friday afternoon. The incident began at 12:45 p.m. and was over in five minutes. Guards used beanbag and pepper ball shots to subdue the inmates. Three inmates were taken to the hospital. The fight began when about 35 inmates were gathered in what is known as a “day room,” where they have access to telephones and televisions. The fight involved black and Hispanics. What prompted the fight was being investigated. As usual in jails, they break into racial groups. The jail has nearly 1,600 beds, and current jail capacity is 1,465 inmates. I think that that PROPORTION is reasonable. This story worries me because that is where my sisters boyfriend is and he is Hispanic.

Monday-Today I read about the alpha project for the homeless which is resuming operation of the cities drop in center for people who live on the street. The transition which takes place July 1st, people say they are excited and hope to help those that are in need. They plan to serve 300 or more people seven days a week and issue member ship cards to several hundreds others. I think this is a good positive thing people are doing for the future to help out people.

The craziest thing about this story is Robin is back providing massage with a happy ending. She is living and working from her residence in ocean beach, ca. Seriously! You'd think shed learn. And if she's on probation, how is she still working as a prostitute.
What a narcissistic bitch.
