Monday-In today's paper I read an article about the police shooting an innocent man. A man lost his key to his house so he is forced to break in. He notifies his wife and lets her know that he has no way in. when he goes around back to see if he can find a way, neighbors report a burglary. The man got in the house, when the police came they see a damaged garage door and suspects a burglary. They keep going in the house to continue the search and find his son sitting there. As the keep searching they finally find the man and points the gun at him telling him to freeze. The man refuses in such shock, and the police officers shot him several times. At least 17 shots were fired, he was pronounced dead on the scene. The wife was devastated, not only that she has to bury her husband but because the family sees no justice. I think that to police should be doing time for this. They murdered an innocent man in his own house, and once again see no consequences.

Monday- Today I read about The federal judge rejecting proposition 8. I’m really happy about this because I myself like both boys and girls and I would like to have the option of either marrying a man or a woman. My friend actually had a party the day she found out about this. I also read about how the county is setting tables for a wine tasting room. This is cool because for people that do consume alcohol they will have their own room to drink. They won’t have to worry about drinking and getting stopped by the police or just getting into something because they are drinking some wine.

Today I read about NFL players being inducted to the Hall of Fame. Former Charger Gary “Big Hands” Johnson who played and retired in 1981 was inducted in 1991. After his career he had complications recovering from a stroke and then passed away in his hometown of Shreveport. Johnson played defensive line. Some say that he might have been the best linemen at the time on the Chargers organization . He played with other hall of famer Dan Fouts. Dan said that everyone like Hands except of coarse opposing quarterbacks. On the other hand Ryan Matthews is expected to rush for more than 1,500 in each of his first two seasons to receive the full contract agreement of 25 million dollars. The only two other running backs that have ran for more are Barry Sanders and Terrell Davis.

MONDAY-- Every year more and more girls are starting puberty at younger ages. Twice as many 7-year-old girls are starting breast development. Black and Hispanic girls are developing faster though. White girls have always developed slower than Blacks and Hispanics. A whole 15% of 7-year-old Hispanic girls had already hit puberty. Doctors and scientists aren’t sure what makes the girls hit puberty earlier, but they are doing plenty of research in order to find the changes in genes to figure out what it is. I think it is extremely weird to see a seven-year-old with breasts. This will trigger rapists and molesters into younger children, which is worse. It sucks that there is no way to stop it either. I wish I could be able to help these little girls, because I can already see them becoming “women” young and thinking they can do adult things at a young age.

Monday-In today’s news I read about a 17-year-old boy was among the seven people killed in a afternoon shootout on Friday on the streets of city of Juarez, Mexico. The other victims were police officers, Mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz said Friday. Five were federal police officers and one was a female city police officer, all part of the joint police task force formed to combat drug violence in the border town. Another federal officer was gravely wounded. And a city officer was wounded but not with life-threatening injuries. A civilian was hit by shrapnel, but those injuries were also not serious. Reyes said the incident began when two patrol cars, one from federal police and one from city police, stopped several people they had been investigating. Gunmen in at least two vehicles attacked the police convoy with weapons including AK-47s. The mayor said it wasn't immediately clear why the police had stopped the people or whether the incident was drug related. Investigators are treating the incident "as a direct attack on police officers.

Blake-Monday- In today’s reading I read an article about the former Mexican president favoring legalizing drugs. He said that drug addiction and drug-related violence should be treated as distinct and separate challenges. Fox and current President Felipe Calderon both come from the conservative National Action Party. Their views are different on the issue of how to combat drug violence. Vicente Fox wants to legalize the production, the sale and the distribution of drugs. Fox advocates weakening the cartels by legalizing their market. Calderon has launched an offensive against the drug cartels that has resulted in drug related violence in some parts of Mexico. The government says that more than twenty eight thousand people have been killed in the drug war since Calderon took office in year two thousand six.

The San Diego Union Tribune didn’t report all bad news today. According to the paper a very important cartel member of the cartel known as the once powerful powers in Mexico, the Arellano-Felix Cartel. The member is José Manuel Garcia Galvan also known as “El Tiburon”. His financial income is believed to be in the million due to the exportation of illegal drugs. When arrested after being pulled over in a truck carrying automatic rifles, ammunition and bulletproof vests with two accomplices. His two accomplices were Armando Buelna Sánchez and Ulises Ruiz Amaya. El Tiburon is known to be a crew runner for the Arellano brother known as El Ingeniero . The weapons he was caught with were the same type of weapons used in the recent killing in Tijuana's bars and restaurants.

Wednesday- Today I read about floods that played a havoc in Asia and killed over 127 in north western China. I hope the families get re imbursed somehow because they don’t deserve this. And over four million Pakistanis are facing food shortages amid their country’s worst ever flooding. This is another devastating place in the world to not be right now I hope they get their stuff together again. And I also read about how North Korea seized a fishing boat close to their territory and the ship’s crew are missing and there where about are now unknown. I hope they get out ok and I hope that North Korea didn’t do anything to them like kill them or something.

Blake-Wednesday- In today’s reading I read an article about an earthquake in Iran. A magnitude five point three earthquake hit southern Iran on Saturday morning. A day before that another quake in the country's northeast left one hundred seventy people injured. There were no reports of damage or injuries right after Saturday's earthquake. Three villages in Kerman and ten others nearby were damaged and one hundred seventy people were injured. Ten people were hospitalized. Iran lies on seismic fault lines and they have earthquakes almost daily. In December two thousand three a six point six magnitude quake hit the ancient city of Bam in southeast Iran and killed at least thirty thousand people. Last year an earthquake struck Hormozgan province in southern Iran. It injured about seven hundred people in the port city of Bandar Abbas.

Thursday- Today I read about the Police saying that they have a person of interest and he has been arrested in a connection with a string of stabbings that have killed five men and wounded others in Michigan, Virginia and Ohio. In a news release, the police in Leesburg, Va say the person was arrested and is being held on un-related charges. No other details and information were immediately available. The attacks started around May 24th in Flint, Michigan. Detectives in Flint have been hesitant to say the attacks were motivated by racial hatred even though all but two of the victims were black men. If this guy was some racist prick I hope he get’s convicted and does a lot of time.

Thursday-What I read today In CNN was about a school bus overturned and injured some students. A car slid into a school bus carrying about 50 students on an icy rural road in Madison County Wednesday morning, injuring several students. A student who was on board said a car slid into the path of the bus and the vehicles collided head-on, causing the bus, packed with middle and high school students, to fall onto its side. What I think about this article is that theirs dumb people that don’t know how to drive and they don’t care whether they injured other people or not. Is the reason why they should take driving lessons. The fact that the car causing the accident to students he should at least get incarcerated.

Blake-Thursday- In today’s reading I read an article about eleven people being killed in a blast in Iraq. The police said that at least eleven people were killed in a bombing in Diyala province on Wednesday morning. Iraqi soldiers received a tip about insurgents hiding and they raided the house. The house exploded. Police think that the house was booby trapped. Eight Iraqi soldiers were killed. Three civilians in a nearby house were also killed. Four soldiers were wounded. Iraqi politicians have not been able to form a government. It has been more than five months after the country's inconclusive national elections. There have been concerns that insurgents would take advantage of the political vacuum to try and reignite the sectarian bloodshed that had been taking place in Iraq for years.

Friday- Today I read about Mixed martial arts fighter War Machine's next battle may be in a San Diego courtroom, as a judge on Thursday refused to honor a plea agreement that would have sent him to jail for a year for assaulting a bartender and bouncer. War Machine, 28, who legally changed his name from Jon Koppenhaver pleaded guilty last month to two felony charges of assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury. In February and March, he allegedly punched a security guard and assaulted a female bartender at another club by sweeping bottles off the bar at her while being on probation for a misdemeanor assault conviction from 2008.

TUESDAY ; Today I read about in Salina . Pa. there was a plane that crashed into a house in Pennsylvania, and killing two. The plane took off Saturday morning and minutes after take off the plane then crashed . A man and his dog who were asleep on his couch during the crash they had got up and escaped the harm . The other two men were indentified from the crash after 3pm , and officials believed they're were only two aboard but they continued the search . The plane was buried and rescuers were removing brick by bricks and everything because the flight went down and through the house and landed in the garage , as said just passing to the right of the man when it came down about 90 miles northern of Pittsburgh . And as if “God was on his side , without doubt” the man said .

Wednesday ; Today I was reading about a women who claimed she threw off three children off a bridge into Delaware River overnight. Coast Guards said Tuesday and other agencies and crews suspended their search , but only because there was no evidence to support the woman’s claim. Coast Guards started the search 12:25pm going 10 square miles for more than eight hours then called off the search. St . Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , a nurse called 4 pm. saying that the women told her she had given birth about 3:35 am and then threw her baby into the river . But Coast Guards are estimating how many children did she through in the river because the women also , told another nurse that she through her 2 year old and her 4 year old as well into the water from the bridge. But they said if it happened “somebody would have seen it” . So what really happened ?.

Thursday ; Today I was reading about 4 men who were on a boating trip who had simply drowned . The children who were on the boat told marine patrol deputies that the first man apparently was standing near the edge of the boat when the second man then pushed him overboard. The second man thought it was funny but he ended up jumping in because he couldn’t swim . So , the second man jumped in immediately in distress. The third man seen them and then jumped in so then there were all three men in distress. As for the last man he managed to grab a life jacket but wasn’t even wearing it , and jumped in anyways to try to save the other three men. It all happened in Boise , Idaho and family members then watched Monday as Dive Teams searched an Idaho reservoir for the four missing men who have gone overboard during the prank which had gone awry .
