The article I read this morning was about a deadly hit in run. The man is being charged with running down and killing a bicyclist. He was identified as Travis Chris Weber. Weber is 44 years of age. He has a history of DUI’s in California and New York. He agreed to the fact that the night he killed Edward Costa who was 30 years old. Costa was riding east in the bike lane on Alpine Boulevard west of Victoria Drive which is near by the Alpine police station. He then was hit by a pick up truck who was also going east and then it hit the back of the bike.
I think that this man does get convicted because he should of known that you don’t drink and drive especially if you have gotten pulled over that many times. He must have been crazy to be doing this all the time. He should of gotten sent to do some rehab for his alcoholism addiction.
An interesting fact that I read was that Weber told investigators that he thought he had run into a mailbox.
Today in the union tribune I read that another arrest was made in the case of the shackled teen. Anthony Waiters, 29, was arrested Tuesday and charged with torture, false imprisonment and other charges, according to police in Tracy, California, located about 70 miles east of San Francisco. The teen has escaped on December 1st after being held for over a year in captivity. It is unclear how Waiters is related to other three alleged abusers of the 16 year old boy.
I think that this guy may not have nothing to do with this case. The judge has imposed a gag order in the case, which means that something is not right about this case and I think it sounds kind of weird too. There is a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense to me like how he went from Carmen Ramirez to the home in Tracy.
ON SATURDAY MORNING A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL AND 15 YEAR OLD BOY WERE FOUND DEAD AFTER A PARTY THEY WERE ATTENDING WERE FATALLY SHOT BY TWO BLACK GANG BANGERS. THIS HAPPENED IN THE SOUTHSIDE OF SAN DIEGO BY VALENCIA PARK. TWO ARRESTS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE SUSPECTED SHOOTING OF THE WEAPONS FIRED AT THE PARTY. DAVELLE OLIVER, 18, WAS ARRESTED SATURDAY AND JAMES TYLER, 19, WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE SURRENDERED YESTERDAY AT THE POLICE STATION. AUTHORITIES SAID THEY ARE ARRESTED FOR AIMING GUNS AT GOING BY CARS BUT THEY HAVE NO CONNECTION TO THE DEATHS OF THE BOY AND GIRL. THE GIRL'S NAME IS MONIQUE PALMER AND THE YOUNG BOY’S NAME IS MICHAEL TAYLOR. MONIQUE WAS A STUDENT OF LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL AND MICHAEL WAS A STUDENT TO POINT LOMA HIGH SCHOOL. THE COMMUNITY ASKS THE POLICE TO DO MORE BUT THE POLICE JUST SEES THIS AS ANOTHER GANG SHOOTING.
What I read in today’s Union Tribune newspaper was about the shootings at a party. Monique Palmer and Michael Taylor were fatally shot outside a party on a Saturday. Last night, a community offered aid, justice, and hope to the families. The community were united by grief and anger of the slayings. Before Monique and Michael got shot, police reportedly announced two arrests in a gang assault at a party. The two men were taken into custody, and they were also suspected of aiming guns and the people at the party. Although they weren’t booked for the slayings. Many residents gathered at the Joe and Vi Jacobs Community Center in Valencia Park to discuss the issue of gang violence. Monique Palmer attended Lincoln high School and Michael recently attended Point Loma High School . Davelle Oliver, 18 years old, was arrested Saturday. James Tyler, 19 years old, surrendered yesterday at police headquarters. The two men were suspected of pointing guns from cars that were passing the party, but they weren't related to the shootings.
