The article I read this morning was about a 24 year old man that won the lottery. The guy had bought the lottery ticket the day before at a store in Pacific Beach. He was checking out a website when he saw the winning numbers and tripped out. He showed the ticket to his roommate and took a picture and emailed it to his family. It stilled matched the same that they researched. The wining numbers were 2, 11, 19, 21, 34, and 38. the guys name is Todd Moitz. He is a insurance agent who just moved to San Diego from New Jersey in August of 2008.
I think that this guy is really lucky. I hope some day I could end up winning a couple millions too. I hope that this guy takes good care of that money and spends it fairly.
An interesting fact that I read was that he is only 24 years old.
The San Diego Union Tribune reports today that the escapee mother who had been on the run for nearly 32 years. She asked the judge to set aside her original sentence of 10-20 years for the distribution and selling of heroin. The judge passed the decision on to the parole board. The woman is to meet with the board that consists of a ten person board, next week. The woman escaped from a prison in Wisconsin and for 32 years she started a family in San Diego. She had been living under a fake name but had not touched drugs since she was sentenced. She said she did not feel she belonged in prison because of something she did as a child.
