In today’s paper I read about how female crafters are starting to feel tourism slump. The decline in tourism in Baja California has been hard for hotels, restaurants and businesses in the region. More seriously however, the recession threatens to wipe out the principal source of income of dozens of these indigenous women, who for decades have had an efficient POLICY of selling their handicrafts on the streets of downtown Tijuana. In another story, Bridge tolls may prove to be the solution to traffic woes. Coronado officials are discussing the possible implementation of bridge tolls ranging from $3 to $10 per roundtrip to help prepare for a tunnel and other projects that will likely result in less traffic congestion throughout the city. Building coordinators are simply trying to get past the LEGAL aspects of the proposition. In another story, authorities were able to LEGISLATE laws against firing arms in public successfully. A 19-year-old motorist and his 16-year-old passenger were arrested yesterday on suspicion of firing a plastic-pellet gun at a patrol officer. The driver, and his passenger, both of Escondido, were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. The patrol officer, whose name was not released, had made a traffic stop about 10:30 p.m. when a car drove by and fired what appeared to be a pellet gun at him. The officer stopped the car soon after, and arrested both of the occupants. Two airsoft handguns and two airsoft rifles were seized.
In the Union-Tribune today; a series gun mans attack an airport that had a convoy of a cartel member being transfer to a city prison. Officer POLICY were to keep the prisoner contain and, deliver to another prison. The policy stand but some of officer’s were killed during the processes .
Cell phone are a big thing in state prison because a lot of inmate contain cell phone. Guard and visitor’s pass cell-phones to inmate’s for money or other reasons. Many people also guards are caught of giving inmate cell phone. A judge ant's going to LEGISLATE the crime to be a felony because the cost already reeling state budget. But no matter what LEGAL deterrents are enacted, there is a key complementary component .
Today in The Union Tribune I read about how Italy agreed to accept 140 immigrants last night. The immigrants were stranded aboard a Turkish cargo ship that rescued them in the Mediterranean, ending a four-day standoff with Malta about who would take them in. Doctors taken aboard the 230-foot-long Pinar by the Italian coat guard had found cases of chicken pox and high fever among the immigrants, the Italian news agency ANSA reported, although coast guard officials had said the earlier medical checks had turned up nothing worrisome about the passengers condition. During the standoff, the Pinar was anchored about 25 miles southwest of the fury Sicilian island of Lampedusa.
According to the San Diego Union Tribune I read about the crime in San Diego getting worse. The first incident was with two men with hid faces jacked a fast food restaurant. Police are now on the search for two men who covered their faces and used a gun to rob a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in the community of Stockton last night at around 9:12 p.m. the site is located on market street and Tre-Duece block. Witnesses said two men walked in with t-shirts covering their faces and baseball caps walked in and at gunpoint ordered the employees to get down on the floor and another gave the men the money. The next incident involved a 19 year old motorist and a 16 year old passenger. They shot at a police officer with a pellet gun. The police officer later pulled them over and arrested them. Two hand held pellet guns were found inside the car and two rifle pellet guns were seized. The teens were booked and are being charged with assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a police officer, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
