Today I read about San Diego State and there football problems they are having. They have gotten a new football coach to see if he can lead them to a good season. The last team he coached for he lead them to a great season to 12-2. they believe he can come in and help out San Diego State. Because lately State has been slacking it and have been losing there fans by at least 40%. They hade one of there worst season only winning 2 games and losing 10 of them. That was there worst season in 25 years. The players are getting used to their new coach they say that they like him because he works hard and he not just a coach he does more than just coach he also there as a mentor. I think the new coach might be a good deed to San Diego State, because they needed a new staff that can help them and lead them some were maybe to a championship.

Today I read about a man who died in a shootout with a sheriff’s deputy in New Mexico in connection with the 2004 killings of a couple on a Northern California beach. Joseph Henry Burgess, 62, was at the top of a list of people authorities were looking at in the shooting deaths of Jason Allen, 26, and Lindsay Cutshall, 22, nearly five years ago. They were shot to death on a beach in Jenner in August of 2004. And Burgess was accused of fatally shooting a New Mexico sheriff’s deputy before his death. The component of this article that interest me is that the title is possible suspect in beach slayings shot. Therefore this implies that they were not for sure that this was the right man. Also it’s weird how they didn’t exclude all these peoples names.

This morning I read an article about how the Chula Vista City Council voted for a temporary ban on medical marijuana dispensaries. The City Council voted 4-0 to pass a 45-day halt, stating they needed more information before the could reach a decision. Two Chula Vista residents applied for a business license to open CV Collective, which is a medical dispensary for medical marijuana patients. They said that there are no dispensaries around there and that “its not reasonable for someone who is seriously debilitated to drive up to San Diego to get it.” when they addressed the city council, he guaranteed that his business would follow any guide lines. I feel like they should be allowed to operate in Chula Vista. I agree that there is no dispensaries in the South Bay, and it would be stupid not to allow it. It’s not like they're just selling weed, they’re providing people with it that need it for medical purposes. I think marijuana is useful as a holistic medicine. I think that all the chemical COMPONENTS in the medicine is more harmful than helpful. People IMPLY that marijuana is a drug, it is an herb that is useful for many uses.

What I read in today’s San Diego news was about a patrol officer who got killed during his job. Robert Rosas Jr. was shot in the head when he was tracking suspected illegal border-crossers on Thursday around 9:15 pm. At the time Rosas was on duty a few other agents were with him, not until they separated. Rosas went in the dark by himself until a shot was heard. Rosas colleagues found him shot down on the ground. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. FBI agents are searching and investigating on the killer or gunman that killed Rosas. Rosas has been a border patrol agent for 3 years now. He is survived by his wife, a two year old son, and his 11 months old daughter.
