Today I read about a fatal trolley accident in downtown. A 51 year old woman was struck and killed. She was a Escondido resident. Police say that the woman was distracted by a westbound trolley and then she was hit and killed. This caused the trolleys In both directions to be closed for about 2 hours. It started again at 5:30.
Interesting Facts- The woman was carrying identification on her that gave a name and an Escondido address.
My Opinion- I think that this is very sad and tragic. I PREDICT people may try to IMPOSE what happened. They may try to INTERGRATE them.
In today news, U.S. Supreme Court INTEGRATE Judge Sonia Sotomayor for her success or her understanding of the duties she's faithfully performed the last 17 years.“ Sonia is now a new judge for the Supreme Court. Confirmation hearing IMPOSE criticize Sotomayor at your own risk. Sonia says she like any other family loving American. I PREDICT that Sonia Sotomayor will stay on task . Her fellow court men have been backing her up through the processes of being a Supreme Court. The confirmation was eazy for her because she was surrounded by men & she was the only girl. I also predict that she will leave in a few years because she notice that the men at supreme court are selfish , and greedy .

This morning I read an article regarding funding for the 2009 U.S Open Sandcastle Competition. The city of Imperial Beach didn’t get a title sponsor for the event this year. They were able to get enough sponsors and meet their shortcomings with donations. The sandcastle competition is a two day event which includes a street fair with more than 90 vendors, with live music in addition to the sand-castle-building contests for children, amateur and professional teams. The cost two put on the event is $180,000. There were many failed attempts to raise money. However, an anonymous donor said he would match anything they raised up to $25,000. Just under $25,000 was raised, including his match. One major sponsor, The San Diego Unified Port District, which has contributed more than $540,000 in 22 years, had warned for several years that it would be cutting back support. In 2005, the port offered services instead of cash, and it was turned down. In 2005, organizers asked the city for a $25,000 one-time loan. Instead, the city gave organizers $21,000 to fund some years of fireworks shows, but said that it could not afford to sponsor the event any longer. It seems to me that our city officials don’t care about an event that has become a tradition for some people. The sandcastle competition has been a regular yearly event for my family for years. Over the years however, it has become less entertaining and more problematic with all the drama in the crowds of people. I think that people go out to start problems, and they should just be wanting to have a good day like everyone else.
Today I read about a coal ash spilling in Harriman, Tennessee valley. It has been six month since the largest waist in the U.S history. In the morning of December 22 it was the walls of dam holding back all the coal which was mixed with water and then the dam finally cracked and broke down. On that cold morning, 1.1 billion gallons of coal ash sludge smashed through this community, covering 300 acres. The once beautiful green valley was now covered in black coal. All residence are afraid of the chemicals that has been mixed into the air and they are afraid of going outside because they might get something. The chemicals in the coal giving kids respiratory infections, bad headaches, fevers, ear infections, and red eyes. The community doesn’t like it because they take there kid to the doctor day after almost every week. I cant even imagine how much suffering these people are going threw taking there kids day after day to the hospital and watching them suffer from a tragedy. I think these people is going to be scared for life and there always going to remember how a once beautiful valley has been broken down to a black cold valley.

Seven people are in custody in connection with the shooting deaths of a Gulf Coast couple known for adopting special-needs children, Escambia County, Florida. They PREDICT that there was more people involved. They INTERGATE that A total of six arrests have been made in last week's. the CONSEQUENCES for the people in custody is lot of time in prison.
