Defensive end Jackson Jeffcoat, who has Arizona State among his final six college choices, is rated as the nation's best high schooler in the latest ESPNU 150 rankings. Jeffcoat, 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, made an unofficial visit to ASU last week. His father Jim Jeffcoat was an ASU All-America honorable mention defensive end in 1982 before a 15-year NFL career and is in the ASU Athletic Hall of Fame. Jackson, who has relatives in Phoenix, also is considering Texas, Oklahoma, Southern California, Florida and Houston, where his father is defensive line coach. I think that he should really go to Arizona State because his family rep. is there and it will be great to beat your father record or get part of it. If he maintain were he is at now he can see an text of him in the hall of fame in Arizona State. But if he gets side tracked he might have some affects on his career.

Today in cnn.com read about a border patrol that was gunned down while he was working in the east county of San Diego. This is very sad because this man had everything in his life. He had a son who wanted to be a border patrol and another one who was 11 months old, he was also married. There was a memorial done for him and the chief of border patrol said that the people who killed him would be brought to justice. I just think that they got to be careful because they encounter very dangerous people in their type of work. I also believe that they get paid a lot for what they do and they know that dying is one of the many risks they take. The reports said that this was the first border patrol agent to die by gunfire since 1998.

Today I read about a knife-wielding man that was fatally shot. Police killed a man brandishing a steak knife in a street confrontation after two disturbances at restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter. He tried to rob a second eatery and then charged two officers who confronted him. Authorities blocked off several blocks near Horton Plaza for several hours after the shooting. The incident began about 4:20 p.m. when the man tool a knife from a table at Greystone The Steakhouse near Fifth Avenue and G street. A sever at the Chianti Restaurant said that she saw a man standing on the sidewalk holding a knife in his right hand as he argued with Greystone’s manager. The man eventually walked away north on Fourth Avenue, where he attempted to rob Bandar Restaurant and threatened an employee with the knife. Then he walked away. Two officers sent to investigate were in a southbound patrol car on Fourth Avenue when they saw the man and confronted him at the E Street intersection. The man put down a backpack he was wearing, brandished the knife, and advanced toward the officers. The officers retreated and told the suspect to drop the knife or he would be shot. The suspect said several expletives to the officers and started to charge them with the knife raised over his head.

Today I read about drogas. They tried to smuggle some cocaine. A man is behind bars, accused of trying to smuggle more than half a million dollars worth of cocaine. It was at the pine valley checkpoint. The guy was a 24 year old U.S. citizen.
Interesting Facts- The drugs are valued at $509,000.
My Opinion- I think that is a waste of drugs. If people want to do coke let them it’s a free country in my opinion I don’t consider coke a drug. Coke does not AFFECT your brain actually it makes you smarter and it’s a fact. The police try to MAINTAIN everybody but they are just racist. I just got a TEXT.
