Today I read about Drug traffickers are planting millions of marijuana plants on U.S. public lands ever closer to tourist sites, guarding their plots with heavy weaponry. Across the nation, pot sites linked to cartels have been found in 15 states as far north as Washington. Last week, a portion of Sequoia National Park in the Sierra Nevada was closed to visitors while rangers dropped from helicopters into marijuana farm a half-mile away from Crystal Cave, popular among tourists . there were five sites in the Yucca Creek Canyon where investigators recovered tons of trash, netting, chemicals and camping materials, a discovery that suggested the growers had been there, or planned to stay, for a long time.
I wasn’t here much of the summer quarter but I have been here for a week and a half. While I was here, I worked quietly, I stayed on task, a finished all my work on time, and I was focused. Next time I won’t really do anything differently I will try to do the exact same how I was doing over the past week and a half. I think I deserve somewhere around the range of a ‘B’ to an ‘A’ because I think I do excellent work for just being here for a week and a half. None of the classes seemed challenging because I have already taken some of them like Biology. My attendance is okay. I am a couple minutes late occasionally, but other than that my attendance is good.
I am trying to pass all my courses, but at the same time make it a challenging. If it is challenging I work harder at it. I am going to talk to Miss jade about giving me the subjects I need, so they could be more of a challenge. First I will talk to Miss Jade about my classes. Second I will look through the text book and see what I am going to be learning. Third I will take the lessons day by day. Fourth I will make sure everything is complete and I understand. Lastly, I will stay focused.
I like the way things are done in this class. I mean the most complicated part is doing almost all your work on computer, and that isn’t really hard. The style of teaching miss Jade use a lot of kids would like. She helps you a lot, she pushes you to try hard, she encourages you, and she also makes the class environment fun. On test I think she could think of fun things for us all to do together, like playing jeopardy. Other than the school day is great.
During this summer quarter I feel like I performed fine. My working habits were good, except for my procrastination on my English work and that is because I hate English. I believe that I received fair grades. I don’t feel like any of the classes were hard. The only thing I found difficult was getting accustomed to using Adobe Photoshop, but after learning the basics it was easy to catch on. My overall attendance I feel was fine except for a few doctors’ appointments I had and I have been coming in late. I will improve my attendance by going to sleep earlier and taking showers before I go to sleep.
My goals or the coming fall quarter are: to finish my English credits, and my cooking elective. I’m changing my sleeping patterns and I’m going to focus more on school than anything. I really want to finish and continue on with my education. Things that I want to see changed are the students. I feel like there are a number of students in the class that do not take school seriously and they don’t care about their education.
I think that your teaching styles are fun and educational. But I am feeling frustrated with all of the negative vibes that are in the classroom which I feel is from the aforementioned students who do not take school seriously. I usually score high on tests and to be honest I don’t study any harder than going over my study guides. I think that if students would do their work, learn the material, do the study guide and go over it a couple times, they would get higher scores. I can’t give any other advice but to follow instructions. Personally I like playing games, like the egg game. Also, the jeopardy game was fun, but I haven’t seen it in a long time. My favorite class is science, except when we did the dissections. Science is my favorite class, because it is my favorite subject. I enjoy the classroom and your teaching styles.
This summer quarter was pretty cool I hadn’t been to a school like this before but it helped me a lot. Hopefully I can continue working like I have this quarter in order for me to graduate.
For the fall quarter I wish to finish with my physics. I believe I can do this by focusing on my physics assessments and also by not talking during class. If I finish my physics I will be closer to graduating and also hopefully closer to my career.
Up to right now I’m liking this program. The only thing I don’t like about it is that its pretty far from where I live. I am looking forward to doing my senior presentation and graduating.
My summer quarter was ok, I was new here and expected to be a whole different perspective then I thought but I still had a good time here because I was welcomed by everyone and everyone here gets along really good and by that there was no distractions and I got my work done faster than I ever done because there was plenty of help to go around. Next time I would like to get a lot more done and graduate and be one of the top students in the school and show a little more maturity. The most challenging class is civics because that’s the class that I am doing alone and sometimes everyone needs help. My attendance was really good and I thought I did real good by coming to school and participating and everything.
This new quarter I would like to develop my communication skills and understand more about everyone for I wont mistake them for jokes or anything but most importantly I would like to graduate and head to college and continue playing sports and becoming something in this life time someone big and famous. This quarter what imma try to do more is more work and helping others and stop joking around little bit and focus on my work more than doing other things outside of school.
I am feeling alright I guess I could be happier here but its going good and I am just adapting into this system and trying to get along with it. On some test you can try to make some of the study guide a little more exciting for everyone can be paying attention and be prepared. The movies helped me learn more about some stuff and get it more clear, my favorite subject is earth science because I am learning more about it and it gets interesting every chapter.
This quarter I think I did good. No lie, I mean I’m getting closer to graduating and finishing school. The thing I wish I could of done better was work more and focus more. I did get distracted a little because of work. My grades were ok but I could of done better. There was no class that was challenging. My attendance was good, I only miss a few days but not much. I think I did good this quarter and I’m happy!!
This new quarter I want to finish all my classes. In order for me to do this I have to work harder and concentrate. Do a good job and pass my test. I want to present my senior presentation and finish my senior portfolio. I want to concentrate better and achieve all my goals. I really want to focus and better in both academics and behavioral. I want to also be like a little role model for graduating earlier and being motivated about PAUL MITCHELL!
I’m feeling good! I like this school, I learn good and I think the rest can learn a lot too of they pay attention and if they don’t sit next to people who distract them. Things that help me a lot was the study guides, the Eggspert Game ( DATS WAS SO COOL AND FUN). Also I think some students need to like to the little room to work once in a while so they can take a time out when they are being distracted. I think Ms. Jade does a good and fun good at teaching though. I like the projector and the cool writing. I think a little competition among the students will motivate them to learn and study or get the job done too.
My summer quarter was very good and there was nice weather. I am very pleased with my spectacular work habits and how I performed on a daily basis. Next time I will attend school at least 5 minutes earlier so I can get a jump start on my work. I think that I did my duty and I deserved all A’s and some A pluses. The class that was challenging for me was civics because I found it hard but I overcame many obstacles and got work done. My attendance was excellent and I don’t need to improve it.
My goal for this fall quarter is graduate. T o make sure that I succeed I will do all my work in order to accomplish my goal. Next quarter I will have all my work finished and be five minutes early aforementioned. Ms. Jade you run your class well you are very wise and you do not need to change anything.
I am feeling very healthy and well. I score low on my civics test but its because its really boring and the old stories don’t catch my attention and they have really big words. You can maybe help me by going over the study guide. What has helped me to learn is when Ms. Jade makes me focus I just use my ninja focus though. My favorite class is English because it is kind of interesting sometimes. I think that we should play more games at school like eating contest.
My summer quarter was good but could be better . My work habits were poorly no I am not pleased with my performance it also can be better. I would change the laziness and stop talking and concentrate and try to get back on track to do good and get out faster. I feel that I at least should of got a higher grade not that low. My attendance is and was bad really poorly but I’m going to try to get it better to finish school and I’m going to improve it by getting someone to wake me up and on top of that I’m going to get an alarm clock
For the next quarter I will like to accomplish at least one or two credits and for my attendance to improve. I’m going to try to make it on time stay focused and complete all assignments. What in going to do differently in the next quarter is try to stop talking to people, focus, listen, and make it on time. What I want to improve this quarter is my attendance work as in accomplish a lot I would like to finish English and history and decently civics
The way I can probably get more stuff done is if I work on my own with a helper and just tell me what were going to do and need to do and I’ll do it also not so much things all at the same time
My summer was okay even though I didn’t come to this school I still have stuff to say about my summer and work well I dropped out of my last high school year and then I went to an adult school I had to pay 45 dollars for each class and still I didn’t even go I rather would go kick it with my friends I got into a lot of trouble my senior year I had court sessions one after another for like 5 different charges I didn’t care about school but know I affected me and I am trying to graduate so I can enroll in college and its a lot harder. So for this time that I am going to be in school here at south bay my goals are to attend school everyday and on time, another thing Is I plan on doing all my work and passing all my tests so far I have been doing good.
My goals like I said is to stay in school and pass all my classes I also plan on getting a job so I could help my cousin pay the bills, I don’t live with my parents so I also plan on visiting them so I want t save money and go. Another goal I have is to pass all my classes with good scores I am really happy because I have already took two test and I did good in them I missed 3 in one and I plan on doing even better the next time.
I feel really comfortable here at this school I am working at my own you know like taking my time and that’s cool well I think you are a great teacher and you are also young so it doesn’t make school all boring I am not saying old people are boring but they are a little meaner and miss jade your fun and school is not boring so yea hmmm… I don’t think there is suggestions I need to make your teaching skills are good and the history reviews make it easy to learn.
Tell me how your summer quarter was ? My summer quarter was good. But just not when it came for break, (vacations), tats the part I hated the most. Yes, I was please with my work, and my performance. I would do differently, on preparing more on my presentations, and my studies on my testes. I think the grades I deserve, are the ones of my hard work, and participation. I'm not going to say an , because I know I don’t. is what I give to my work. I had no classes challengeable, only the cahsee math test, that’s all.
What do you want to accomplish this quarter,? What I would like to accomplished this quarter, is to pass the cahsee math, and graduate. What are you going to do to make sure you succeed? What I’m going to do to make sure I succeed, is to work harder, and get to it and study a lot, so next time I re take the test, pass it.
Well, on the teaching, it aint about you, is about us, you're students. Is up to us, if we want to learn and Pay attention, which it aint up to how you teach us.
My summer quarter wasn’t really good I need more improvement. My grades aren't good but I can improve them better by paying attention and trying extra harder. Staying after school if that me ands staying extra.
I'm going to make sure I succeed by coming to school and showing and giving effort as twice as much as I usually do. What I want to improve will be my grades and my attitude participate more and show more enthusiastic.
