Today I read about how there are a lot of key injuries in the NFL already. Key people out and teams might be in trouble. I also read about how Michael Crabtree was talking to the New York Jets football team to be with them because the jets need an playmaker receiver and Crabtree still haven't signed with the team he was drafted by. Now the 49ers are filing a report and charging the Jets for going after Crabtree and trying to get him to join there team with a better deal what Crabtree wanted since the beginning of the season, Crabtree who is holding out against the 49ers because of contract deal is being greedy and who is wanting more money from them which he isn't getting because he haven't proven his self to worth that much he just got into the NFL . But sooner or later he will be sign and have to stop being greedy I think.
Drug traffickers are planting millions of marijuana plants on U.S. public lands ever closer to tourist sites, guarding their plots with heavy weaponry. The officers destroy their plants and they still come back. Sometimes to the same spot. Across the nation, pot sites linked to cartels have been found in 15 states as far north as Washington. Last week, a portion of Sequoia National Park in the Sierra Nevada was closed to visitors while rangers dropped from helicopters into a marijuana farm a half-mile away from Crystal Cave. there were five sites in the Yucca Creek Canyon where investigators recovered tons of trash, netting, chemicals and camping materials, a discovery that suggested the growers had been there, or planned to stay, for a long time. I think that It's definitely possible that hikers and campers are going to find themselves in the middle of a field facing some very dangerous, armed bad guys, because this problem is everywhere, and it's only getting worse.
This morning I read a story about a teacher that beat a 14 year-old student and bashed his head against the blackboard. This happened at a private Thai-Chinese bilingual secondary school in Bangkok, Thailand. A classmate recorded it on his cell phone and when he showed it to his neighbor he took it to a local news station. The teacher slammed the boys head against the board at least four times while his classmates watched. The teacher was punishing him for cussing him out. I think that there was an ALTERNATIVE form of punishment. In the article they didn’t mention anything about the teacher being arrested or anything. The teacher did comment saying “I did not use excessive force to hurt him. Otherwise he would have started bleeding." I think this is sad and I think the teacher should have been arrested and charged with something. I also read a story about a civil attorney David Ronquillo, 64. He is accused of embezzling more than $100,000 from his clients. He pleaded not guilty to felony charges. Prosecutors say Ronquillo stole money over a five-year period beginning in 2000. The judge reduced his bail from bail to $50,000 from $500,000. Two clients claimed they lost money because of how Ronquillo handled their settlements and both complained to the State Bar of California.
Today I read about the Los Angeles police and federal authorities cracking down on notorious avenues gang, they are serving multiple research and warrants for alleged crime raging from drug dealing to murder. 1,300 officers went door to door around 4:00 a.m. serving around 88 federal jury indictments, this took place in about 47 Los Angeles locations, it is the second massive gang operation this year. Avenues gang is accused of the murder of Juan Escalante member of L.A. county sheriff’s department, the gang is thought to have four hundred members mostly based in highland park, cypress park, glassell park and Eagle rock the group first surfaced in the 1950’s. In my opinion I think that the cops are going over the limit with trying to get every gang member in the avenues gang it might be possible or not but its not really smart since in the first place they were complaining about not having enough room for inmates, and then the other day there was a law that was going to be established like in the following years like that they were going to release any inmates that have charges just like carjacking and stealing. I believe that its not a smart idea to get all these gang members that have committed small crimes so later they can be released.
Today I read an article on Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom. She is a reality TV show star. He is a NBA star. They have been seeing each other for about a month now, and they are about to get married. Khloe’s sister Kim says that he makes her really happy and he also makes her smile. They are suppose to be married this Sunday in Los Angeles, California.
Personally I think that they are rushing things to fast. They need to slow their roll. If they rush into things their marriage is only going to last a month. How they feel is how most couples feel in their first month, then comes the irritation. They just need to tone it down.
Today I read about a woman that was killed. The woman was struck and killed by a pickup truck. This happened in National City. The woman who was 82 was walking in a traffic lane for an unknown reason when she was hit. The truck was pulling out of a business parking lot when they backed into Elena Firme. This happened on Sunday at about 6:40pm.
Interesting Facts- Paramedics took her to Scripps Mercy Hospital, where she died at 7:22 p.m.
My Opinion- I think that this is sad and tragic. I think that the guy should have been paying attention to where he was driving.
Today I read about a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed to death during a fight in National City early Saturday morning. Officers were called to reports of a fight on 21st Street near Highland Avenue about 2 a.m. and found the victim in the street bleeding from a stab wound to the neck. The teenager was taken to UCSD Medical Center where he past away. Detectives later arrested 25-year-old Danny Aparicio on suspicion of murder and was taken in and is now released. This is the second person I know to die this year from the same thing. And about the 5th or 6th person I know to get stabbed in a year. I want to wish the best to his family. RIP CHARGER!!! 9-19-09
in today's paper I read about the famous football team in San Diego the Chargers. They played really good last game the people said now they hardly even won there is a lots of mistakes that are going on the coach said their not working as what they are a team and to much problems to with what was going on with Merriman. The boys need to know how to control their personal life's and get more into the game they need practice practice the Charger Coach said that night of the interview. Now they lost this game and they were close the fans also love the game and thought that was a real interesting game.

What I read in today’s San Diego news was about the boat accident that happened at Mission Bay. The two people that were involved in the accident weren’t identified. The 18 year old man was severely injured on Monday while his father wasn’t hurt at all. The boating accident happened at about 2:40 pm on Monday. The two boats were colliding at high speed when suddenly the 18 year old man’s boat slowed down. His father wasn’t looking in front of him when suddenly his boat went up and over his son’s boat crushing him against the steering. His father was riding a 25 foot cabin boat. The impact knocked out the boy while it was going at a high speed until it got to shore. Lifeguards freed the boy from the lifeguards, and took him to UCSD Medical Center for treatment. He had injuries to his head. I think they should've stayed at a constant speed and should at least stay 100 feet from each other, and this accident wouldn’t have happened.
