In today’s news I read that Senior High School Student’s could lose the STRATEGY to go to College. It is harder for a local High School student to get into the San Diego State University. SDSU will lose its admission to guarantee that students will get to SDSU even if they meet the Requirements it takes to enroll them into SDSU. It is easier for Students in the SDSU area to get into SDSU then for students outside the SDSU area to get in. It is Harder for students to get in SDSU this Year then the PREVIOUS years. High School Students all over San Diego are getting worried about being Accepted or not. There will be more ALTERNATIVE’S to get into SDSU. They decided that Students with a 3.0 GPA or higher will be able to qualify for SDSU.

What I read in today’s Union Tribune newspaper was about the help that the slain border agent’s kids got. Robert Matthew and Kayla Allysa were presented with 12 U.S Treasury bonds that will grow into $60,000 in scholarship money in honor of their border patrol father, Robert Rosas. The two kids didn’t even start school yet, but they already have scholarship money. Obviously they have choice but to go to school. Especially when the money was in honor of their slain father. The bonds were presented by the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation and Chargers’ offensive linemen Dielman, Mruczkowski, and Clary. Rosas’s widow felt that the support was special, because she had always been a charger fan. Rosas was in a remote rocky terrain around 9:15pm tracking down suspected illegal immigrants. He got shot, and was later on found near his vehicle near the border fence. I think the support for the slain border patrol’s kids was really special. The kids would have to use their scholarship money for college, because it was in honor for their father, Robert Rosas.

This morning I read an article about a man who was robbed in hotel after he responded to an adult services ad on Craigslist. He met a 17-year-old girl at a motel in La Mesa and they engaged in brief touching. Then he gave her $100 for “additional services” and then a man wearing a ski mask came out of the bathroom with a knife. The customer ran out and left his money, then he called police. The cops saw a man and the girl trying to drive out of the parking lot and arrested them for robbery. The robbery victim isn’t being charged with anything. I think he should at least be charged with soliciting a minor or something. And I think the man should've been charged with armed robbery. The interesting fact was that the girl was released to a parent.

Today I read about a 19 year old Jordanian bent on committing “violent jihad” was arrested after undercover FBI agents foiled his attempt to bomb an office tower in Dallas Texas. Federal officials reported the guy entered the U.S. illegally and tried to set off an improvised explosive devise attached to a vehicle at the base of the sixty story fountain plaza office tower. There had been a similar case in Springfield, Illinois on Wednesday. I think that these two cases were related in a way because the 19 year old had the Thursday bombing for a while the undercover Agents had said, and they also said that the guy was mad because the first bombing planned had failed and the other guy had been arrested too. I learned that its good to keep an eye out for people that look suspicious to help prevent dangerous events like the ones that luckily were discovered on Wednesday and Thursday. I agree that these two cases were somehow related because they happened during the same week.
