Today in the union tribune I read that in Tracy California, a man and a women were taken into custody after charges were brought to them about imprisoning a 17 year old boy in their home. An emancipated 17 year old boy ran into fitness center on Monday afternoon with a chain around his ankle and a pad lock attached to it. Kelly Lau-Schumacher and her husband, Michael Schumacher each face charges with torture, kidnapping, false imprisonment, child endangerment, and corporal injury to a child. CNN said there is another suspect who is an adult but couldn’t reveal a name. employees who worked at the fitness center said the boy came in with just boxers and bruises and scars came in and told them to hide him. The police were called and searched the couples home and found the 17 year old boy was the only hostage. The couple appeared to have 2 children and they were taken because of child protective services.
I think that this kid is feeling really lucky to be away from that house. I wonder how he escaped, he told gym employees that he was taken from a group home over a year ago which is located in Sacramento, 70 miles north of Tracy.
Today in CNN news I read about…Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death in their South Side Chicago home. The body of her nephew, 7-year-old Julian King, was found three days later in an abandoned SUV on Chicago's West Side. Police later found a handgun near the vehicle. They found the person that might be the killer of both of the innocents. Balfour was transferred from the Statesville Correctional Center to the custody of detectives in the case, she said, and he is awaiting formal charges on three counts of murder.
** I think its very sad what happened, but the same time it shouldn’t be a big thing on the news cuss of there deaf. The only reason they have it on the news its cuss their famous. But if it was somebody random, it wouldn’t be on the news like this.. But yea anyways I hope the guy gets what he deserves.?
A new change hoped to bring a holt to the bribing of police officials. The governor Jorge Ramos, removed the top official in the much troubled deadly streets of Tijuana. The replacement was Capella’s top deputy, Julian Leyzaola. The officer had served as a military lieutenant colonel. Tijuana's 2,200 municipal police have been increasingly in the public eye amid efforts to remove corrupt officers. More than 400 officers have been ordered to undergo retraining and background checks. The bodies found on Sunday had a note that said “We worked for El Gordo Villarreal,” a reference to Armando Villarreal Heredia, a top lieutenant in the Arellano FĂ©lix drug cartel. A cartel whose main source of INCOME was the EXPORT of illegal drugs into the united states. Their financial status was known to be in the 100 of millions.
It is not every day a journalist is able to sit face to face with someone facing life in prison, so when I received the opportunity to videotape an interview with O.J. Simpson’s co-defendant C.J. Stewart at the the Clark County detention center, my producer and I hopped a flight from New York bound for Las
In Session correspondent Jean Casarez with C.J. Stewart at Clark County detention center
Stewart has changed since the October conviction on 12 counts stemming from kidnapping to armed robbery and conspiracy. He now sports a small beard and his once black hair is now sprinkled with silver grey highlights. Stewart is facing life in prison stemming from events that happened the night of September 13, 2007, when Simpson and his group of men went to the Palace Station hotel in Las Vegas to retrieve memorabiliathatonce belonged to Simpson.
Now, Stewart granted us that rare opportunity to hear from his viewpoint what happened that night and why he believes he has been wrongly convicted. Stewart told me he never knew about the guns that former co-defendants Michael McClendon and Walter Alexander had on them that night. He thinks it’s a 50-50 chance that Simpson asked McClendon and Alexander to bring guns that night.
Stewart told me he remembers as they all were walking through the Palace Station’s lobby, toward room 1203, someone asked Thomas Riccio if he thought the men waiting in the room had guns. Stewart says those words were still on his mind as he entered the small hotel room and believed he saw victim Bruce Fromong reach for a gun. That’s why he said he initially walked towards Fromong in the room with plans to take the gun away. When I asked Stewart why he continued participating in the altercation when McClinton pulled out a gun, he told me he didn’t see it, and if he had, he would have taken it away from McClinton.
Stewart said while in jail, he has tried to become a mentor to the young men he has met and now associates with on a daily basis. By request, Stewart has been moved to the jail’s general population. Stewart seemed amazed as he described to me that many of these teens have been charged with murder. He told me he tries to instill in them the values of religion and respect to others, but foremost respect of themselves.
Stewart will once again sit next to O.J. Simpson on Friday in the same courtroom they both were convicted in and knows he may be sentenced to life in prison by Judge Jackie Glass. Stewart displayed what appeared to be inner strength and conviction and has put his energy and passion toward mounting an appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court. He hopes for a new trial without Simpson as a co-defendant.
The article I read this morning was about a 17 year old boy that was being held captive. The name of the teenager was not released. The boy arrived to a gym telling the employees to hide him. The assistant manager said she checked her cameras because at first she though it was just a joke. The boy arrived to the gym with just his boxers on and he had a chain wrapped around his ankle. The chain had a padlock on it. Kelly Lau-Schumacher, 30, and her husband, Michael Schumacher, 34, are the couple that had this boy held in captive. They are now under custody and being charged with one charge each of torture, kidnapping, false imprisonment, child endangerment, and corporal injury to a child.
I think that these people are sick. I don’t understand how there could be so many cruel people out in the world like these. They even had children of there own and it was a very bad example that they gave them.
An interesting fact that I read was that one of the employees from the gym said that the boy looked the boy looked emaciated, bruised, and scared.
Today in the union tribute I read that police arrested a man Monday in connection with the killing of three relatives of singer-actress Jennifer Hudson, a police spokesman said. William Balfour, 27, was accused for the murder of the day Hudson's mother and brother were found shot to death. Also the body of her nephew, 7-year-old Julian King, was found three days later in an abandoned SUV on Chicago's West Side. Police later found a handgun near the vehicle. Detectives served arrest warrants on Balfour on Monday afternoon, said Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond. vehicle Davis-Balfour, Balfour's mother, passionately defended her son Monday to reporters. She said that at least one of the witnesses that police used to build a case against Balfour was lying." My son did not do this. I am sick of this. They need to focus on somebody else," Davis-Balfour said. She said Balfour has an alibi: He was with one of his three girlfriends the night of the slaying." He was with Diana that night and with Kate in the morning," she said. Balfour's attorney Josh Kutnick also said Balfour has told him that he did not commit the crimes.
In today’s updated news on the Hudson shooting was that a man was arrested with the connection to the shooting. William Balfour was Hudson's sister’s husband and King’s stepfather. The day when Hudson’s brother and mother got shot to death, Balfour was detained for suspicion of the murder on October 24. At the same time they were holding Balfour for a suspected unspecified parole violation. A few days later, Hudson’s 7 year old nephew was missing. They’re findings involved FINANCE for the reward of finding the missing person. The whole news about King was EXPORTED around the world. The Hudson's INCOME was high so they’re money that they would gave to who ever found King alive was $100,000.
