Yesterday in Iraq a man and his wife were killed in their bed after U.S. and Iraqi troops raided their house. Their daughter was wounded but said to be stable. As the team rushed the bedroom the mother (sleeping next to her daughter and husband) reached under the mattress to grab a high powered hand gun. The troops shot her after repeatedly telling her distinct commands to put her hands up. In other news Barak Obama has put out another part of his stimulus plan to bring the nation out of the finical crisis. In further news Ralphs grocery store has some real good sales deals that you should take advantage of. Ralphs is selling life water and Propel for 50 cents a bottle if you buy ten of them.
In today’s paper I had read that a shooting had occurred Friday night a few blocks from the Imperial Beach pier. Police had found one man shot in both legs on evergreen avenue near third street at about 7 pm. He was taken to the hospital without life threatening wounds. And later a second man showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds. In other news I had read that there was a hold up over in Rolando. A robber a amount of cash from a U.S. bank at a Vons supermarket. The robbery took place at 2:30 p.m. the robber was described as a black man, 25 to 30 years of age, wearing a dark baseball cap and a dark blazer.

Today I read about a Brazilian model who lost her hands, feet to drug-resistant and dies. She was living that dream of many young girls by modeling to help her family out of poverty. The 20 year old contracted a urinary-tract infection. The bacteria spread quickly and inexorably through her body proving to have the potential to be drug-resistant. To save her life the doctors had to cut her hands and feet. But by yesterday, she was dead. Her dad, Agnaldo Costa, say he can accept that her daughter left them do soon. Bridis' website says that she began modeling at age 14 with the hope to give her parents a dignified life. Her father is a taxi driver, her mom a housecleaner. The family was really upset as well as the fans on her website.
Today in the union tribune I read that a woman confessed on her deathbed that she shot two women in 1967. she killed them because they called her a lesbian. A cop was involved in this because after she killed the two ladies for a misallegation she gave a cop she knew because of her husband who was also a cop the gun because she said it was her husbands extra gun. He took it and buried it for some reason. But they eventually found after she confessed. She was charged for murder but didn’t do any good because she died a short time after.
People are getting away with things like things like this, they are waiting till they die if they do get away to crack cold cases like this. Like the guy who swore on his death bed that the pictures that he took of the loch ness monster were authentic, I believe it.
The article I read this morning was about a drug trafficking suspect that was arrested. The man who was identified as Santiago Meza Lopez, 45, was arrested in Ensenada, Baja California. The man confessed to have dissolved 300 bodies in acid. Santiago was among three men arrested and a woman as well. Santiago also mentioned in an interview that he use to work for a one-time member of the Arellano Felix cartel. The one-time member Santiago worked for was Eduardo Teodoro Garcia Simental who is known as el Teo. El Teo is believed to be behind in much of the brutality in recent months as drug gangs fight for territory. Santiago also mentioned that when he received the bodies they were already dead.
I think that people that do these kind of things don’t have feelings. I hope that this man pays for what he did to these poor people even though he wasn’t the one who killed them. But as for El Teo he should get life in prison without parole.
An interesting fact that I read was that Santiago said it took about 24 hours to dissolve the bodies in barrels.
