According to SignOnSanDiego.com the city just across the border of San Ysidro has awaken to seven more murders. Gunmen opened fire from several cars late Saturday, killing a 22 year old standing with his family outside his house said police officials. Two more bodies were found wrapped in blankets near a cemetery. The last homicide occurred over night Saturday. The four bodies were decapitated and the heads were left inside a plastic bag. Mexico's homicide rate has soared as drug cartels battle each other for territory and fight off a government’s crackdown. The number of people that died in 2008 was 5,300.

It happened around new York area. the police were tryna calm him down but he kept on shooting. Al the people were really scared and didn’t know what to do..? He shot many shots using a lot of bullets. This has caused a big traffic jam that’s the police said. There was traffic like crazy. Cuss of the police there tryna stop him. Today I read about how president Barack Obama likes his BlackBerry so much he is sad that when he goes into the house he’s going to give it up for safety insecurities. The worth to a company to have the president always talking about a BlackBerry and how its absolutely is a necessity to keep in touch with reality? Think about how far the company has come if they're able to say “ The president has to have this to keep in touch.” The most powerful man in the country is saying at this point basically, I cant live without mine. Obama was doing a lot for BlackBerry and BlackBerry had helped Obama's image by making his message seem more relevant. The BlackBerry anecdotes are a huge part of Obama's brand reputation. It positions him as one of us: He got friends and family and people to communicate with us, just like all of us. And it positions him as a next generation politician.
I like this that Obama likes he's BlackBerry so much he's is kind of upset he's has to give it up. It shows that he is like one of us too that likes his cell phone too and needs it to communicate with people and family.

The police have been sent to re-education course to PRIMARILY learn how to be cops.

The article I read this morning was about the case of Caylee Anthony. Caylee was reported missing since the month of June in 2008. Her mother was arrested in October because authorities believed that she killed her own daughter. When the mother of the 2 year old girl who’s name is Casey Anthony was charged they had not even found the body. Casey is 22 years old. She was charged with first degree murder and a couple of other offenses. The body has now been found but it was only the remains of the skeletal. A private investigator found them in the woods about a half a mile away from Casey’s parents house were Caylee and Casey were living at.
I think that people that have the guts to kill there own child like Casey did have no feelings. I can’t even imagine why she would even think about killing the little girl. I hope that she stays in jail for the rest of her life for what she did.
An interesting fact that I read was that prosecutors have said they will not seek the death penalty against her.

Today about how Obama plans to close Guantanamo prison on his first full day in the office. Experts say it is likely to take the administration many months, perhaps as long as a year, to empty the prison that has drawn international criticism since it received its first prisoners seven years ago this week. The new administration expected that it would take several months to transfer some of the remaining 248 prisoners to other countries, decide how to try suspects and deal with the many other legal challenges posed by closing Guantanamo.
This sounds like a challenge for Obama trying to close a prison. It would be nice though. Hopefully yes in a way but what about the crazy inmates.

Today I read about a man gets 15 to life for killing a woman. South County man convicted of hurling hid former girlfriend to her death from an apartment balcony in front of the woman's 12-year old daughter was sentenced to prison yesterday fro 15 years to life. Eduardo Duarte, 38, was convicted in December of second-degree murder and child endangerment . Duarte apologize to several of Valdez’s friends and family members. He asked for forgiveness from the bottom of my heart. They say Duarte killed Valdez because he was angry that she had a new boyfriend. He went to her apartment early in the morning to drop off their 3-year-old son. He was angry when he found another man in her bed. They argue then he forced her to the balcony and threw her off. He say he never meant to kill her. He just threw her off the balcony in a rage after he found another man in her bedroom and she taunted him.
This is a very sad story because he gone have to live with this guilt for the rest of his life and in prison. He hurt a lot of people and left kids without a mom and that is just the worst thing ever.
