Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about a man who caught 27 months in the Penn. The man was arrested when trying to pick up his valuables from his car in an impound lot. The man at the front desk looks up the name the man gave him and to his surprise he has an outstanding arrest warrant. The police arrive and arrest the man. On the man’s body is found methamphetamine and a gat. The man at the front desk comes out and tell the police the computer made a mistake. The man goes to court and tells the judge he was searched illegally but the judge ignores him. Now the man is fighting the case in the supreme court against the United States. The court called it the Barney Fife’s expectation to the fourth amendment.

Today in the union tribune I read that a man was wrongfully arrested when he went to pick up his posetions truck from the impound. As he was at the front desk, police checked for a warrant and found an outstanding warrant in his name. they searched him and found illegal narcotics and a gun. Then the police found that there was a computer mistake was the PRIMARY reason and that the police could not have done anything. Now dean herring, the man who was arrested, argued to lower courts saying that he was illegally arrested because of the rescinded warrant. He was sentenced to a PERIOD of 27 months in prison.
I think that he should not have said anything. This happened in 2004, but he should not argue because he possed illegal narcotics. He has the right to argue because the TRADITION of the 14th amendment though. I guess he is using his rights in the most useful way ever, keeping himself out of prison.

In today's paper I had read that a pedestrian was killed on i-5. he was ID’d as a school music instructor. He was struck by a truck on I-5 in barrio Logan on Tuesday morning. The cops said that a witness called 911 after seeing a man on the freeway shoulder jump in front of a truck. This mans name was Donald Leslie Truesdail. He was 34 years of age. He lived in ocean beach with his wife Nancy. According to websites Donald wrote folk-rock music, played the double bass and performed in local venues such as portugalia on Newport avenue. In other news they still haven’t found the person hit and ran that 90 year old man a couple weeks ago. He’s still on the run. He last seen in his car which is a light colored SUV similar to a mid-1990’s ford explorer. So if you have any information about this please call and contact crime stoppers at (888)580-8477. yes MRS. JADE there’s a reward of $1,000.so if you find him you can take a another couple days off from work. =]

Today progress was made in Egypt as peace talks between Hamas and Israel inched forward. Hamas was sent a copy of the peace treaty but sent it back with its own provisions. The death toll in Gaza has officially reached over 1000 dead and over 5000 injured. Israeli officials say they are skeptical about going into the heart of Gaza because of the anticipated intense fighting with Hamas militants. Heavy and relentless Israeli bombing has not quelled rocket attacks into Israel proving this war has not improved anything. Also in the news General Portreaus says that we will not be able to withdraw troops as fast as Barak Obama promised in his election due to complication. The times table they have now is not fast enough for the new president so they are trying to draw up more plans of withdrawal for the new president.

The article I read this morning was about a man who had gotten charged with stealing a woman’s purse. The man pleaded not guilty yesterday in a Vista superior court. The man had apparently found a purse on the freeway after a crash. A woman by the name of Yine Erandy Gonzalez Angeles died. She was 24 years old and was pregnant. Yine was from Tijuana and was driving on the freeway when she was hit from behind by a Nissan Altima. The driver of the Altima was identified as John Francis Sudac Jr.. John who is from Carlsbad and is 27 years old, was pleaded not guilty to charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, hit-and-run causing death and misdemeanor marijuana possession.
I feel so bad for the woman who died with her unborn child in her stomach. I think that John should be charged with something because he killed two people. He deserves to do some time for killing innocent people because of his horrible driving.
An interesting fact that I read was that there was other people in the same car where the pregnant girl was and no one but her died.
