Today in the union tribune I read that a woman gave birth to eight babies. They are called octuplets because there are eight of them and an octopus has eight tentacles. There is six boys, and three girls. Their weight ranges from 1 pound 8 ounces to 3 pounds 4 ounces. Three of the babies need breathing assistance, but the eight babies don't appear to have serious problems. She was pregnant or 23 weeks which is about 5 months. She was originally supposed to have seven babies but they were in for a surprise when she gave birth to their eight child. Eight babies in the United States first set of live octuplets were born in Houston, Texas in 1998. One of the infants died days after birth. The seven other siblings recently celebrated their 10th birthday. This transaction only took five minutes for all the babies to be born.
I think this was the most interesting story I’ve read since I’ve been at this school. Eight babies, that’s amazing. I didn’t even know that many babies was possible to even live inside their mother, I guess that explains why she only held them for five months.

The article I read this morning was about a woman who gave birth to 8 babies. Doctors expected for the woman to give birth to 7 babies but they were surprised. The woman’s name wasn’t released. She gave birth to six boys and two girls. The babies weigh between 1 pound and 8 ounces and 3 pounds and 4 ounces. This was the worlds 2nd live-born set of octuplets. The hospital had scheduled a caesarean section for seven babies. The doctors were shocked when an eighth baby popped out.
I think that this woman did take some fertility drugs. I can’t imagine having eight babies that would be crazy. I hope that all the babies and the woman are in good condition.
An interesting fact that I read was that the woman was only in her 23rd week of pregnancy.

Today in the news it talked about the mounting problem’s with detainees in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. Some of the released detainees can’t be accounted for in their home countries despite their government trying to track them and put them in rehabilitation programs. These programs focus on getting these terrorist ready to rejoin society and to show them a new way of life an alternatives to being an extremist. Two Saudi Terrorist after completing the program have joined Al Queda in different countries. Also The Obama administration tries to deal with the makeshift prison they have on Brigham air force base in Afghanistan. The makeshift prison is poor quality and gives no outlets for the prisoners to even get exercise often being locked in big cages with other detainees. This is a problem but the Obama administration does not want to spend 60 million to make a prison compound and have put a task force together to investigate what they can do about the problem. In local news fire fighters are filling a sexual harassment suit because they were forced to drive in a gay parade.

Today I read a little about sports well about the football player LT and the general manager Smith. General Manager A.J Smith called LT to talk to him about comments he made last week that have drawn fire across the nation and inside his organization. Smith cited that it was important for me that LT knows exactly what happened. That he just answer a few questions and unfortunately it came out the wrong way. Smith means no disrespect to LT and that he has the utmost respect for him on two fronts- as a player and a person. LT has the formula to keep playing for the chargers and renew his contract by mid of February. He has the potential to be making 6.725 million and 8.79 million against the salary cap. His team players show distinct appreciation for him. Smith and LT talked for like 10 minutes and they said it was a great talk like the ones they have at the beginning of each season. LT said it was great to hear it from Smith and that it went well talking to him one on one.

According to signonsandiego.com La Misión police department was sot up with more than 200 rounds of automatic artillery. Fortunately they was no one hurt. attack took place just after 3 a.m. at the La Misión station, about a half-hour north of Ensenada, and left bullet holes in the walls and damaged five patrol cars, according to the Attorney General's Office. Nearby authorities found Chevrolet SUV and pick up with California plates. The cars were stolen from the states. Along with the cars the weapons and bullets were also found. Authorities believe it has something to do with the arrest of Santiago Meza Lopez, 45, who confessed to dissolving more than 300 bodies in acid for the Mexican cartel. Mesa was transferred to México City where he confessed getting paid $600 dollars a week. Meza, a former construction worker, said he started working for the Arellano Félix drug cartel and later worked for trafficker Eduardo Teodoro García Simental, also called El Teo. Law enforcement authorities say García was a one-time member of the Arellano Félix cartel who left the organization this year, sparking a battle between rival drug gangs that has left hundreds dead in Tijuana.

Today in this morning blog I had read a article in the union tribune about a family shot to death. An L.A man killed his wife and kids this Monday. Apparently both the wife and husband had just there jobs as a technician. They say they didn’t fire the couple because of the economy it was because they just didn’t like them and didn’t want anything to do with them. The manger new that they had 5 kids but he did not care. They said he might as well shoot his brains out. So later on Ervin Antonio faxed a letter to a TV station claiming he and his wife had been fired from jobs as medical technicians and she suggested they kill them self's and their children. So after a horrendous or deal his wife felt it was better to end their lives and why leave their children in someone else's hands in addition it seems Kaiser Permanente wants us to kill themselves and take their families. The letter was posted later yesterday on the KABC- TV late yesterday . The couple complained to the human resources department and were offered an apology ,but 2 day later the Lupoes were fired .
