In today’s paper I had read that an ex-girlfriend of Roberto Alomar is filing a lawsuit against him because he had unprotected sex with her for the past fours years but unknowingly he didn’t know he had AIDS thus giving it to her. The lawsuit was filed on January 30th and was transferred to U.S. district court yesterday. Lyle dall is looking at least $15 million in punitive damages from the 41 year old former infield ball player. Alomar wants to keep this private. Bu he also very saddened about the fact that his ex would ever do such a thing. She embarrassed him enough he says.
Today in the news it talked about coordinated attacks on Afghanistan Ministries. In three separate locations simultaneously the Taliban launched assaults. These assaults targeted civilians and police officers. The assaults were launched due to alleged allegations of mistreatment of Taliban prisoners. The attack left 20 dean and 92 wounded. This shows that the Taliban still has strength and is not limited in its operations. In local news it talked about teenagers sending nude pictures of them selves to other teens is a crime. The crimes were first caught by a school recourse officer. These pictures are considered child pornography. The state of California has strict child porn laws but these teens will not be prosecuted. Also I read about that an ex girlfriend of Roberto Alomar is filing a lawsuit against him because he had unprotected sex with her for the past fours years but unknowingly he didn’t know he had AIDS thus giving it to her. In today’s paper I read about an indicated issue with cell phone’s at Diegueno and Oak Crest middle schools. Parents of students that attend these schools have been established a letter warning them about teens sending or receiving naked self-portraits via cell phone text message’s. This kind of behavior is called “sexting”, and has gained popularity among teens nationwide. Teachers from these school wants this problem fixed and out their campus. The parents of the students that were caught with these text in their phones had a meeting with their parents and counselors. It was said if parents don’t try to justify this issue then law enforcement will have to handle it.
Teens have been sending pictures containing nudity for as long as texting has been a form of communication. However, recent incidents in the San Diego area involving female minors sending nude pictures of themselves to boys has brought a more serious note to the situation. The problem is that possession of distribution of such pictures is considered child pornography and is illegal. Another aspect, which is commonly looked over by adolescence, is the fact that once the photos are sent the sender has lost control of what other people may see it. This is the root of much of the gossip and trauma that is corrupting young students. Fear of attending school and socializing with friends may result all because of a mishandled photograph. In another story two men, Franko Bernal and Samuel McCauley, were found guilty of two counts of murder for gunning down an 18 year-old man in Murrieta and killing the clerk at a Lemon Grove 7-Eleven. After hearing the verdicts Bernal turned to the courtroom and said, “It doesn’t matter. He’s not coming back. Happy Thanksgiving.” Both men face a sentence of death or life in prison without parole, set to start Tuesday.
Today I read about two guys been convicted of killing two men. One of two East County men convicted yesterday of killing two men and wounding a third one over Thanksgiving weekend 2006. one of them told the courtroom and victims family it doesn’t matter. In the court room of El Cajon Superior Court, Franko “Dopes” Bernal turned to the courtroom audience and said “ It doesn’t matter. He’s not coming back. Happy Thanksgiving.” Bernal and Samuel Thomas “Tommy” McCauley Jr. were found guilty of two counts of murder for gunning down an 18-year-oldman in Murrieta and killing a clerk at a Lemon Grove 7-Eleven in a robbery. The possible sentences are life in prison or death. They did a lot of things and look like they don’t really care if they get life in prison.
The article i read today was about two judges that got cought taking money to put kids in jail the juvenile court system in wilkes barre works like a conveyor belt kids are sent to court with out lawyers for only two to three minutes then get sent to juvenile prison for months for minor offenses they have never encoutered nad dont think that they will ever in there life time they find a case that thousands of kids lifes were just tossed aside in order for some jugdes to make some fast money.
In the san Diego Union Tribune I read about a new way teens have found ways to have sexual relations from where ever they are. They call this sexting. Studies indicate two out of every five teenagers from the ages of 13-17 agree on sending raw pictures or videos of themselves in a text to some one else. This has been justified by planned parenthood. Pictures of those under 18 is considered possession of child pornography. The law enforcement said if parents can not do anything about stopping this situation they will have to step in. two cases have already been reported San Diegito Unified school District. The students were to go to counseling with a parent and the parent must be stupid if they didn’t take the texting away. The students range from seventh to eleventh grade. In this case both girls were in middle school seventh grade to be exact.
