Today In the Union Tribune I read about the U.S. cracking down on drug cartels in America. President Obama plans on seizing all the cartels assets and hitting them where it hurts. This gives the federal government powers to fine or prison people in U.S. jurisdiction that help the cartels. Mexico and the U.S. have been working closely together to solve this increasing drug problem. Mexico and American officials have shared ballistic information and shared techniques of catching these drug smugglers. The federal government has three major cartels in mind La familia, Sinaloa, and Los zetas. The Los Zetas are reportedly hit men for the gulf cartel that have a lot of murders under their belts. In other news I also read about North Korea has kicked out all U.N. nuclear inspectors and says it will restart its nuclear program. China and the U.S. urge North Korea to forgo this plan. North Korea also says it will no longer take part in the Six Party Talks with neighboring nations.

According to the San Diego Union Tribune Colombia caught ex-paramilitary drug kingpin in a jungle raid. Police captured Colombia's most wanted drug lord yesterday, a former right-wing paramilitary commander who once offered his gunmen $1,000 reward for each policeman they killed. The man known as “Don Mario” was found in the jungles hiding under a palm tree eating rice out of his hands in northern Antioquia province. The arrest was a boost for Colombian President Alvarado Uribe who is said the arrest shows his government is battling remnants of paramilitary groups alongside a recent string of military successes against left wing rebels. Colombian government had said they will give $2 million reward for information leading to the arrest of his arrest. Don Mario’s brother was also once a very powerful leader until he was captured in a raid of one of his farms. He was known as “the German” for his strict discipline on his soldiers. He controlled the area surrounding the river that bordered panama a river known for the major corridor for drugs and arms trafficking.

In today’s paper I read about how NSA surveillance has been facing more and more scrutiny in recent months. The organization seems to have been APPLYING its ability to intercept private e-mail messages and phone calls a little to casually. It is being said that the agency is being engaged in an “over-collection” of domestic communications of Americans. The legal and operational problems surrounding the NSA’s LABOR force has come under scrutiny from the Obama administration, congressional intelligence committees and a secret national security court. It is not clear to what extent the agency may have actively listened in on conversations or read e-mails of Americans without proper court authority, rather than simply obtain access to them. In another story, a Colombian drug cartel CONTRACTED a big blow with the arrest of the country's most wanted drug lord yesterday. Daniel Rendon Herrera, 43, is believed to have once offered his gunmen a $1,000 reward for each police officer that they killed. The drug lord, also known as “Don Mario” was found alone, eating rice out of his hands, hiding under a palm tree in the jungles of northern Antioquia province. The capture is a boost for Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, who said the arrest shows the government is battling illegal organizations efficiently.

The San Diego Padres lost last night game vs. New York, from seven to two. The Padres manager has word to his pitcher about doing LABOR right. The pitcher threw ten consecutive balls to open the inning. Jake Pevey is way better CONTRAST than Luke Gregerson. The Lakers, Cavaliers enter playoffs on top. But the Cavs have the advantage because they pay last game at their home town.

Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I read about a rally of tax protesting in San Diego county more than 3,000 people gathered waving large American flags and slogans such as “I am mot your ATM Obama.” police stood by but the rally was peaceful but loud. The largest local crowds were at the Oceanside Pier where people will get there, and the people there were shouting “No more taxes!, no more taxes!” I don’t know when the economy is going to get better hopefully soon we just keep falling and falling.

Today I read an article about Afghan government will change a law that say legalizes rape within marriage for Shia Muslims. The president's comments came one day after several hundred demonstrators faced off over the law, which say prevents women from declining their husband's request for sexual intercourse and essentially legalizes marital rape. Women from various parts of Afghanistan marched in the capital Wednesday to protest the law, which has also been criticized by human-rights groups and Western leaders, including U.S. President Barack Obama. Obama said "We think that it is very important for us to be sensitive to local culture, but we also think that there are certain basic principles that all nations should uphold, and respect for women and respect for their freedom and integrity is an important principle.”

Today in my morning blog I had read about a hospital employee shoots and kills 2. The employee had killed two of his co- workers and then just killed his own self. It was all at a medical center where they APPLY medical patients . Yesterday the police had identified the gunman as Mario Ramirez who was 50 years old a day before this tragedy had happened his wife had gone into LABOR. Police said the victims names were Hugo Bustamante who was 46 who died on the scene , and Kelly Hales she was 56 years old . Kelly was taken to hospital emergency room and was in critical condition and died several hours later from her injuries. Ramirez was found dead outside but before he had just shot the employees in the legs and just went all insane and started shooting every where thankfully he didn’t kill any more employee’s .Then right after he had put the gun up under his chin “and shot himself . Later police had filed a CONTRACT for his death.
