Today in the Union Tribune I read about following the lead of county officials, the San Diego City council voted 8-0 yesterday to move a level 2 drought alert. Water-use restrictions will June 1. New rules include watering only on days assigned by the city and watering only for 10 minutes per irrigation station. In April, the San Diego County Water Authority said it would cut its deliveries to 24 member agencies across the region by 8 percent.
Today in the news paper I read that this women named Connie Culp from Ohio got a faces transplant and she let people know about it .the reason she go the transplant was because five year ago a shotgun blast left a ghastly whole where the middle of her face had been another women died and so they donated her face so then Connie got her and started her surgery as soon as the doctors told her that everything was good and so she did get her face transplant and now she is very happy because people don’t make fun of her and judge her by the way her face looked .
In today’s paper I read about how Amazon.com is widely expected today to unveil a new Kindle electronic book device with a larger screen that would be geared for textbooks, magazines and newspapers and possibly a shake up many industries. The online FEATURE is not giving details about what it will announce, but the company has not disputed with widespread reports that the Kindle is on tap. The Kindle has many different ASPECTS to it software, including the ability to wirelessly download books to be read on its gray-scale screen already includes several features that could aid textbook reading, such as the ability to highlight and bookmark passages. Users can even tap the machines typewriter-layout to look up word and annotate them. Newspaper and magazines can also be purchased from online subscriptions that are wirelessly delivered to your device. However, one CONSEQUENCE about the size of the device’s screen is that it is more suited for small paperback books rather than larger reading material. If a bigger device better suited for textbooks is revealed, the buzz is expected to be massive. The rollout could help students get educational materials for less cost and give newspapers and magazines a better way to sell their digital readings. The Kindle’s digital delivery method has meant lower prices for its content. New releases of books are typically $10. Newsweek is $1.49 per month via Kindle, about half of what a subscription to the print addition would cost. I think that technology is really reaching greater heights with the Kindle, allowing students to move on from the painful truth of caring larger textbooks around. All the applications and texts would all be in one, light-weight device that is sure to change the face of the educational system.
Today in the San Diego Union Tribune I couldn’t find anything interesting to read about. There was a police chase in the south bay a man suspected of driving a stolen pick up led Chula Vista police department on a 20 minute chase yesterday afternoon before he was apprehended in México after running across the border at San Ysidro port of entry. The pick up was reported stolen at about noon in NATIONAL CITY. At about 3:40 pm in the area of Palomar Drive. The man drove down several streets during a low speed pursuit before heading south on the i-5 freeway where the chase reached 100 mph. he drove into the u-turn before crossing the border where he got out and made a run towards the border.
Today in the union tribune I read about the Governor of California. The Governor of Californian thinks that we should open the flood gates on marijuana. Governor Schwarzenegger thinks that it is time to open these discussions and look at the upside of legalizing the drug. The governor would like to introduce a bill legalizing the bill to tax marijuana 50 dollars an ounce. The drug would be treated like alcohol. This would cut down on gangs the influx of drugs into our country and it would benefit our crippled economy. The Governor estimates that the drug would bring in a 1.3 billion dollar revenue for the state alone. I also read about a dog defending a man and his wife from a mountain lion. The 5 year old German Shepard was taken to the hospital for surgery. The dog was in surgery for four hours but is expected to make it through.
In the Union-Tribune, Governor Schwarzenegger feel that pot should be debated. He also thinks pot should be treat like alcohol. State Assemblyman Tom Ammiano thinks there are many ASPECT to be considered before passing such a law. In the FURTURE there might be people able to buy weed older than 21 illegally and don’t faces any consequence’s.
A couple were camping at Lake Elsinore and a mountain lion attacked but the couple dog fought the lion . The dog suffer wounds around his body. The five-year old shepherd mix named Hoagie.
The Padres won yesterday and seemed very excited about winning. The padres act like they haven't won for a long time.
Today I read about a man that must stand trial in a fatal Mira Mesa shooting. A man that was arrested in connection with a shooting on New Years Eve was ordered yesterday to stand trial on a murder charge. Kwang Hae Cha 26, is accused in the death of Andy Ho 29. Andy was shot around 10 pm and died about 15 minutes later. If Kwang is convicted he could faces 35 years to life in prison. This occurred as two houses were having party's and someone from Andy’s party threw glass into a nearby backyard where Kwang was visiting friends. Kwang went to Andy’s party and a brawl started and then Kwang shot Andy.
Interesting facts- Kwang will be tried on the murder charge and a gun use allegation.
My Opinion- I think that the ASPECT of Kwang’s FEATURE WENT WRONG. Kwang will face a CONSEQUENCE for what he did I think that is sad that Andy was killed.
Today in my current events a gunman used a chain saw early yesterday morning. Just to cut into an apartment door. After that he shot through the hole he had wounded his former girlfriend. And killing her unborn child and her new boyfriend in an apartment complex about two miles east of the Las Vegas strip. police had said William Keck who is 25 years old was arrested after the incident. His former girlfriend was in critical condition after surgery. Police say It was all over jealousy William Keck just went insane because his former girlfriend was having an child with her new boyfriend.
