I moved across the country once to move with my dad. At first it was depressing but then I met new friends and started getting out.
When I have problems I just go to sleep and when I wake up my mind is clear of all my worries and problems.
This is an image that is a meaning of me
:) :) :) :) :) :)
People get tattoos because they symbolize things that people like.
The scars are tribal symbols to their cultures.
Hispanic, Respectful
They can define me as a fine young man.
A person becomes an adult when they meet maturity.
It is acceptable because they both learn from each other.
If I went to my ancestors village I would probably be more appreciative on my perspective on life.
Being an American to me is having the right to be free and freedom of speech
One time when I felt alone was when I was locked up for a few months. Even though I was surrounded by like 50 other girls I felt alone in there lol. My behavior changed sometimes because I was grumpy and mad sometimes. I think a lot when I try to resolve a problem myself. I tell others to do the same and to pick the best decision. I don’t have a comfort object. I don’t get this question about the scarf's. I define my culture by been unique and lovely. I don’t know how my ancestry define me. A person becomes an adult when he or she has grown mentally and some part physically. I don’t necessarily agree that when your 18 you’re exactly an adult because not a lot of people are mature enough or independent. Is acceptable when they are trying to help and better themselves at the same time. I don’t really know where my ancestors are from. Being an American to mean means the freedom to live a good life, the right to become anything I want to be, and the opportunity to better myself.
Just recently, I had to witness my dog get run over. It was horrible, I wasn’t even close to being able to hold back my tears. My eyes felt so heavy, and I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it and I didn’t want to believe it. He meant the world to me and I would do anything to get him back. Now, that a day has passed since his death I have thought about trying to move on. I believe this is one of the most important things to do when losing a loved one because the longer you have them in your thoughts the longer the pain will stay. I’m not someone will get over something like this in a day or two, but with time the pain will cease and you will be more at peace with the brutal reality of this foul day of our lord. I suppose I do have a comfort object. Originally my dog would always make me feel happy, however after his passing I have looked to his doggy color for memory of the good times that he brought me and my dad. I cant do it without crying, but I love to think about him. I hope he is thinking of me wherever he is now. A little bit off topic, but I believe people get tattoos because they feel that they have a special message to share or a symbol or picture that is very meaningful to them. Tattoos may be able to be considered comfort objects because with many people that may be the reason why they got them in the first place. They need to take a quick look and they are reminded about what they believe in. Physical scars are scars that can be seen on someone, and they symbolize times when people have been in physical pain weather it be from falling of a skateboard or getting into some kind of mass confrontation. Emotional scars, which are often much stronger, are the product of losing something that has been dearly important to you for a long time. Whenever someone loses a loved one, often a very harsh emotional scar is etched into that person’s character. I define my culture as very American. I live life just as any other no religious, technology crazed person. My ancestry, which is from the country of Bulgaria, would define me as always being Bulgarian but living an American life. Not something to be ashamed of in any case. A person become an adult when they prove to themselves and others that they have what it takes to make it on their, deal with hardships, and live life on its own terms. Life is full of disappointment and hurt but it is the ones that make it through the hard times that do well in life. No I don’t believe in any ritualized rites of passage, I believe they are premeditated and it takes away from the real meaning of becoming an adult. Becoming an adult is something happens gradually. Sure anybody can survive in the forest for a couple of days and get slapped with certificate of adulthood, but they lack experience, and they don’t know how difficult everyday life will be.
Yes I have moved and changed schools, lost a loved one, felt out of place and felt homesick and lost or alone. When I was younger I moved to Washington and I got homesick. Not that long ago I lost a little brother.
Sometimes I try to control them but there’s been times where my temper just wins total control over me. It has got better though. If I had to advise some about how to deal with their troubles I guess what I would advise them to do is to just ignore it and let it pass you because sometimes trying to handle it only brings a bigger issue.
My tape player I got when I was four is what I sit and listen to most of the times I’m feeling down.
Yes I do have a tattoo. People usually get
tattoos to represent something. I want to get
more tattoo’s that represent a theme of life and death.
Scars usually symbolize honor toward a tribe or culture in places like Sudan. Places like the projects, a scar is just a stripe or a war wound to those places.
My culture is all about family gatherings drinking, eating, etc.
I really don’t know how my ancestry define me.
I person becomes an adult when he or she starts to understand life and excepts reality for how it is.
My family considers a person an adult when that person is responsible enough to pay there own bills, have a job and take care of there own addictions.
